We ordered food through the drive thru, and the lady who took our order seemed nice but there was a bit of a language barrier so instead of ordering just one plate we got charged for 2. She was also on the phone while taking our order, and she seemed to be the only one working too. She was friendly though! We ordered the 2 meat plate with meat jun and Korean garlic chicken, 2 spam musubis, and potstickers. The side of potstickers only came with 3 potstickers, the spam musubi's were for our kids and they were a decent portion size. It was more rice than anything. For our 2 meat plate it was a decent portion size, they gave a lot of rice. We also didn't get to choose our sides, we wanted kimchee and cucumbers but got Mac and salad. The Mac salad was garlicky which we didn't mind, the Meat Jun was made well just wasn't cut the best. My daughter and I were leaving the DMV and Yummy's was just down the street so we gave it a try. They have a lot of offerings, but I specifically have wanted to try a Korean Corn Dog for a long time! We both ordered a half sausage and half cheese corn dog, and my daughter ordered a spam masubi as well. YUMMY!!! Their name is so fitting based on my corn dog experience! It was so good! I doordash from this place all the time and it's consistently good. I get the kids teriyaki chicken and kids garlic chicken which comes with rice and Mac and cheese. Portions are worth the price. Also I've had the kalibi beef and bulogi as take out and portions are huge and delicious! One of my favorite places to order from but lose a star because sometimes proportions are different between rice and Mac salad. Definitely better than any other Hawaiian plate dishes. read more

Went there specific to get the hot Cheetos Korean dog, when we got them they had ketchup on them with Cheetos. Went in and said my daughter can't have ketchup and said the last time she got them they had no ketchup. He said it says on their menu and grubhub that it has ketchup on them. No where on any menu can I see that it says it has ketchup on them and we went through the drive thru so what does grubhub have to do with it. They would not make new ones and so we are out 13.00 for 2 plus I tipped 4.00. What a joke!! Just lost customers and I will make sure to tell others don't go there. The Corndogs are NEVER cooked fully through . I came in on Oct 3rd Order #18. This isn't the first time I've brought home uncooked sweet potato corndogs. it's gross when you bite into uncooked batter and partial unmelted cheese. The last 2 times I tried recooking the corndog in air fryer and it just not the same because I'm not really sure how to cook this thick uncooked batter. maybe your cook should throw in how to reheat or how to cook instructions in the bag for your customers. Went through their drive-thru and at first couldn't see the menu in the first windows but look closely. Then you order and pay at the next window, then drive to the other side to pickup. Friendly service but a little slow waiting for the food - worth it for the hot and fresh plate lunch and delicious corn dog. We tried the beef bulgogi and garlic chicken plate, cucumber kimchi, and the half cheese/half sausage corn dog. The plate comes with a generous serving of fluffy white rice, green salad with ranch, and a good macaroni salad. The small container of cucumber kimchi ($3) was good contrast to the rich food but wish the serving was a little bigger. The Korean style corn dogs are so fun - the top of the stick was a sticky gooey white cheese and the bottom a hot dog. The whole outside of the corn dog is coated in sugary deliciousness! And includes two ketchup packets for dipping, haha. Such delicious food and large portions. Plenty for leftovers or to share. I'm posting a review for the Korean Hot Dog only and the service. I found out about their Korean Corn dogs from a close friend. At the time we both went, the corn dogs were not on the menu. They were still in the process of adding it to the menu and experimenting with the recipe, but the kid that helped us was more than happy to whip up 4 corn dogs. He informed us it would be a bit of a wait. In our excitement we had no problem waiting. If you've ever had a Korean Hot Dog in LAX (Los Angeles) or LAS (Las Vegas) the batter is heavier. Almost similar to a traditional corn dog you would find at a county fair or carnival. Yummy's corn dog batter is much lighter and I actually enjoyed their batter much better than the Korean Hot Dogs I've tasted in LAX & LAS. At the time of my tasting my only option of corn dog was the half & half corn dog. Half cheese and half hot dog. The cheese used seemed to be like a string cheese. Unfortunately, my cheese was not melted when I bit into my corn dog. The cheese was warm and chewy and it came out completely along with my first bite, leaving a gap of just fried batter behind. Double unfortunately, the hot dog tasted like a cheaper pork variety. Perilously close to a Vienna sausage texture when you're eating it. Ugh. Overall, it was a great effort on Yummy's part. IMO, if they got rid of the half and half and offered a whole hot dog, then added a duo hot dog with cheese and nailed the cheese to a better melting variety like American, cheddar, mozzarella. Hell even ventured into cheese heaven and trying gruyère, fontina or provolone. Then upgraded to an all beef hot dog. Like Costco's brand beef hot dog that sells like hot cakes. Yummy's would kill the Korean Corn Dog scene here, since they are presently the only ones that I know of, who are even selling them. But I will end by saying this...the two friends that I went with to try Yummy's Korean Corn Dog have traveled with me to LAX & LAS and have tried Korean Corn Dogs there and said about Yummy's corn dog that "I really liked it" and "this is amazing". So to each their own. You'll just have to head down to Yummy's and judge for yourself. Service is 5 stars for me. I'll definitely head back again to try a plate lunch. read more

I knocked on the window and honked and no one came to the window. So, I pounded on the glass window. Finally an attendant came and said, "We're sorry! There are lots of Door Dash orders ahead of you and our fryer isn't too fast." Ummm, why didn't they say that when they took my order?! It was so frustrating! My order finally came 26 mins. I can't tell you enough how good the Korean corn dogs are! 1/2 cheese 1/2 beef sausage corn dog: The cheese is so melty and the sausage had a good combo with the cheese and the outside. The outside had a perfect crunch and the seasoning is A-1! Be sure to eat it while it's hot since the cheese is melted! Chicken mix plate - Korean fried garlic chicken & teriyaki chicken: Love the flavoring of the garlic chicken. Teriyaki chicken was good and cooked perfectly. I suggest eating the garlic chicken as soon as possible because if you leave it overnight, it might get hard. Meat jun - beef and egg: The beef was thin and coated with eggs. The sauce that came with this plate was perfect for the combo. The only thing is I wish was there to be more meat because I ended up with a lot of rice leftover. Both plates came with sides of macaroni salad and garden salad. I really enjoyed the macaroni salad, but not so much the garden salad. If it's possible, ask for both sides to be macaroni salad if they allow it. I don't know if they do this, but if they do, let me know please! Parking: plenty of parking on the side of the building Drive-thru: I like how accessible the drive thru is as it wraps around the building I like how there was tables outside so you can sit out in the sun and enjoy your food! I HAD to try this food trend . - They are very different from your average American corn dog. They taste a lot crispier. & When it comes to topping, these Korean Corn Dogs are next level. I tried Hot Cheetos, Fruity Pebbles and Sweet Potato. I liked all 3 . Saw this place on tik tok and being a lover of fried cheese I had to try. We arrived and the line was wrapped around the building and parking lot, love to see that for new and local spots! We decided to go inside and wait. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They were helpful with the menu and teaching us about their past and why they started. The food was delicious, a corn or cheese dog fried and covered in some sugar with mustard and ketchup drizzled on top? You can't go wrong! It was a new way of trying a cheese dog and it was very good. After the first couple bites the sugar was a bite much so going forward I would opt out on the sugar or ask for a tiny bit sprinkled on when it's finished frying. The mandoo was very good. I ordered the Potato and Cheese Corn Dog. My husband had the Hot Cheeto Spicy Dog. They are huge, in fact I couldn't finish mine. I gave them a four star only because they don't have fountain drinks. They just hand you a bottle of Coke that wasn't very cold. After trying to eat one of these giants trust me you will need something to drink. It took a little while to wait for our food but so worth it. Don't try to eat these while you're driving though. They make a big mess. I'm going back to fully enjoy one. I'm going to sit in the Parking Lot and eat it slow. So worth the trip. They are truly Devine. read more

We really wanted to like this place; but sadly, Yummy's Korean BBQ was a huge miss for us tonight. I agree with one of the Yelp reviews on here that this place is nowhere close to being like the Yummy's Kbbq in Hawaii. The food is way overpriced and the flavor of the meats were subpar. My fiancé and I both got plate lunches that came with a choice of meat, mac salad, and salad. I chose the beef bulgogi and my fiancé got the garlic fried chicken. We also ordered a side of shoyu potatoes and daikon radishes, which are $3 each btw. I was surprised after we got our food that the sides came in such tiny containers. In addition, everything from the meats to the sides were bland. We were not impressed at all and definitely not worth the price. Doesn't look like much outside. Honestly looks kind of rundown. We didn't go through the drive-through but there is one which seems simple enough. The place is tiny inside. Definitely for takeout. It's not really a sit down hang out place. They do have meals donated that people can take/pay it forward which is a really cool concept. Ordered the cheese and potato corn dog and mixed plate with garlic chicken and teriyaki. The plate came with macaroni salad, Rice and salad. Both chicken dishes were made of thigh meat. The garlic chicken was crunchy fried and had a great coating. They both have a couple of fatty pieces on it. Flavor was awesome but I prefer chicken breast. The corndogs had a thick fluffy batter that was tasty the outside was coated in sugar with ketchup drizzle on top. The inside was not full of cheese. The first bite I took I didn't even get any cheese just a big mouth full of fluffy better. The potato corn dog only seem to have potato on the backside and even then it was sparse you didn't get a potato flavor. The batter is tasty but too thick for the filling. I've had Korean corn dogs at other places and they're usually 50-50 batter/filling which is the perfect balance. But this was just like eating bread with a little melted cheese. There are other places that also have lots of different sauces that enhance the flavor even more. I really love myungrang hot dog in south Jordan is just a bit far from me. Disorganized and long waits. We were going to a potluck that evening and wanted to pick up some Korean food. Having never tried Yummy's, we wanted to check it out. We pulled into the drive-thru and gave the gentleman my order: Garlic fried chicken and beef bulgogi, but leave out all the sides and fill the boxes up with meat. Since we were going to a potluck, I just wanted the meat. The gentleman appeared to understand my request, repeating it back to me. After about 15-20 minute wait in the drive-thru (we were first in line), the same gentleman came running out stating it was taking long because they needed to make more rice. I told him our order didn't have any rice and reiterated that we ordered the garlic chicken and bulgogi with just the meats, with no sides. He then confirmed again that that was going to be what was given to us. Finally our food was handed to us. Upon verbally confirming if the order was just the meats with no sides, the lady stated it came with the rice. I told her what I told the gentleman previously: I wanted the boxes filled up with meat with NO SIDES. She took the food back and I thought she was going to make it right, but then another gentleman (manager?), came back and handed us the food without any changes, stating they can't take the rice out and just to take it with the rice. It was annoying, but if it was just meat and some rice (without other sides) I would've just accepted that. We pulled the car into an empty parking spot and visibly checked the food. Of course, both boxes came with meat, rice, macaroni and salad. My wife and 2-year old who were also in the car was getting cranky at this point. After already waiting 20 minutes to get an incorrect order, I decided not to waste more time to try to get the order fixed. Unfortunately our first experience with Yummy's may be our last. read more

We had a large party of 15 in our own little "cave". We ordered the all you can eat Korean bbq dinner a. The service and food was excellent. Very quick for the amount of food and people we had. All of the sides are excellent. The marinated beef and chicken katsu were especially delicious. The sushi did not taste like all of the other typical sushi rolls I've eaten.
