I was gifted an Wonton soup to go. I'm in an aftercare facility and I wanted something light and savory. THERE WAS NOTHING LIGHT about it. It came with a 16 oz container filled with these massive soft, delicious and meaty wonton. Were talking THE ROCK level wonton. There wasn't anything dainty about them. The broth was delicious. It was so savory and clear with onion peices. I wasn't feeling my best so my 1st sampling wasn't much but the 2nd day wonton was giving. I didn't know i had 6 more massive wonton in my container. Yummy Chinese takeout! I got shrimp and broccoli with white rice and a shrimp egg roll. My friend got ribs tips with fried rice! The egg roll was jumbo sized my only complaint was there was only one shrimp in the egg roll lol I would definitely order my meal again tho, it was well made and hit the spot. However I would skip the rib tips, there were a lot of bones (more than meat). The service was quick and the restaurant had the traditional Chinese takeout feel, no interior seating! read more

Great carry out in the Brightwood park, probably one of the best in the city. I liked them before the change in management and the new management did NOT Disappoint. General Tsao chicken was great, and beef and broccoli was on point. Friendly staff but food was very mid. The only reason it was edible was because we were smacked.

What can you say about this place? Chicken wings with "mumbo sauce" or some fried shrimp with fried rice are at your doorstep faster than I can find my wallet most of the time. I'm writing this after having just placed a phone order and bet the phone will ring from the delivery driver by the time anyone reads the first word of this online. Yums is pretty good for what it is and they're really fast. Along with wings and shrimp, there's also a wide variety of American "Chinese" food. I've never set foot in the place (and won't), so I've never even seen the menu (and can't find one online). Pros: fast, hot, not bad at all Cons: no menu in the bag? Also, they put the sauce on the beautifully fried wings unless you tell them to put it in a cup. If you like your wings soggy and smothered in sauce, don't say anything--that's how you'll get 'em. Oh, and the guy will tell you to hold on at least three times when you phone in an order. Just hold on. read more

Totally gross food that I would not recommend to anyone. I ordered General Tso's chicken which consisted of the grossest, stringiest chicken with a mushy fried exterior. See pictures attached for the sad excuse for a sweet and sour pork that I also received. Didn't even come with sauce or vegetables. Just greasy fried pork and nothing else. Only saving grace was the Crab Rangoons. But not enough for me to give Yum's anything other than a one star. read more

This is by far the best and yummiest Chinese carry out in my neighborhood. This one's close to where i work and close to my apartment too so this is obviously my to-go-place for lunch and dinner when i feel lazy to prepare meals by myself. Food is great, serving is really huge, price is just right, sales attendant who is my fellow Asian is friendly and accommodating. I love coming to this place. They have cheesecake too which i love a lot! And their Chinese fried donut is to die for especially when you eat then while they're still a little hot. I ordered online through Grubhub. 38 minutes after I placed the order, the driver called me, here with the food. That's a pretty good delivery time. Don't let the title fool you! They deliver as well; it's not just carryout. I ordered a large #97 (beef and broccoli) and #L3 (lunch combo: shrimp szechuan style, shrimp egg roll, fried rice). Total cost (not including tip--always tip!) $17.60 The shrimp egg roll was the best egg roll I've had in recent memory. I'm getting more than one the next time I order. Shrimp Szechuan was relatively tasty, but a lot sweeter than I expected, and definitely didn't have spice. It came in the same container as the fried rice, and so I pre-mixed before tasting them individually. There ended up being an unpleasant grit texture in the mixture, and I'm not sure which half was at fault. Beef and Broccoli was as good as expected--can't go wrong with beef and broc. There was plenty of it for the price as well. Great egg roll, predictable-in-a-good way Chinese food, and fast delivery. This will be my choice for delivery Chinese in the future. read more

The food is good and very fresh.. The style is like they have Mexicans cooking the chines food though. The flavors are not American Chinese. I've worked and many kitchens and can tell you it's not a very traditional Chinese flavor. It's lacks many oils and spices. It is definitely a Mexican or spanish kitchen style on American Chinese food. Other than that I would still give it a high rating because the food was fresh and good. read more

Earlier than expected. Delivery guy was very friendly. Pork and sour was amazing and the order had enough pork for 3 people. The egg drop soup was to "die for". I've ordered from Yum's many times over the past few years and it's always been a hit or miss with them. I decided (for the final time) to give them another chance and ordered pork fried rice and an order of bbq spareribs. The fried rice was delicious but the ribs were dark in color, hard, and the sauce was sour. I called the restaurant and was told that that is how it is with the ribs. They could be all sorts of colors and consistencies. Hmmm, that would have made sense (?) if I'd never ordered from them before. However, I have and usually the ribs are tender and the sauce is sweet. I'm now throwing up as a result of eating one of the ribs. read more

Decent delivery joint. It's totally a neighborhood mom n' pop. Their Moo Goo Gai Pan is pretty fantastic - always tastes fresh and slightly garlicky. Lemon chicken is pretty good too , but ask for sauce on the side and dip like chicken fingers to avoid soggy mess, same for their orange beef. The chinese donuts are made fresh in-house, sprinkled with sugar and can quickly become an addiction - be warned. We order from here about once a week depending how hectic work gets. Their soups are both filling and fulfilling - Wonton soup is yummy, egg drop lives up to its name hot n'sour soup is pretty fantastic and even their seafood soup hits the spot although I could do without the crawdad (?) meat. Their shrimp rolls are big and come 1 per order. Skip the curry or the szechuan - it's mainly onion - even though the flavor is decent, be a real onion fan or you'll be upset. The Lo Mein is on point and the Singapore noodles are like a saucy / soupy Lo Mein. The rice noodles are typically the thinner noodles expected in Pancit or Vietnamese cuisine. As for their American dishes - I've only tried their turkey burgers - not bad at all - and fried chicken wings (so good!). Their pork and beef egg foo young have proved popular with our guests -the gravy on this is terrific and it's a huge portion. The shrimp egg foo young proved to have too mild a taste - nearly bland, so make use of the soy sauce packs. Their lunch and dinner specials are really great and easily will last one person beyond one meal. It's not fancy but it's worthwhile! Delivery is pretty fast. read more
