Lunch special bimbimbop and spicy ramen with beef
Fei X.

Stopped by for lunch on our way to Yellow Springs, it's a hole in the wall place with minimum decor that has definitely seen better days. The bathroom is located in the back of the building, so you'll need to exit the restaurant and walk around the building to get to it. Remember to turn on the light before you shut the door because it's pitch black with the door shut. The service is great, seated right away and took our order and food came out fast. We got the lunch special bimbimbop and spicy ramen with beef. Everything tasted great. The spicy ramen definitely takes like Shin ramen straight out of package but I enjoyed it anyways. The normal menu price looked a bit pricy but I assume they come in big portions, there were a few items I wanted to try but was not available for lunch that I'll have to save for the next visit.

Bibimbap - Takeout Order ($11.99)

Highlight: Bibimbap - Takeout Order ($11.99) Bulgogi is lightly marinated with a ground beef texture. Soft rice and sauce have a hint of spiciness. Crunchy and fresh veggies. Hospitality: Friendly and kind staff. Honorable Mention: Takeout orders also come with a small set of side dishes. Small and cozy restaurant.

Amazing food! Came here during TDY and ate here twice with leftovers for lunch the next day. It's very authentic and delicious!

Clean, cozy interior.

This is one of those small, clean, and cozy restaurants that I love. I found time to enjoy a solo outing for lunch today. I am craving a good soondubu jigae after my fave Korean restaurant closed in my city. I have not found a good substitute for it, yet. I can say I found it here today! I chose level 4: just above my comfort level, but spicy and hot enough for this chilly day. The tofu was smooth and silky. Shelled clams were plenty, plus the egg made the perfect lunch. I was also offered a refill on the fishcake side dish, which I gladly accepted. My stomach is happy and content after this lunch. Service was friendly and efficient. The place filled up quickly after I left. I'll be back the next time I'm in town!

Okay I came in with a very good friend after looking at a car a few miles away. I looked for food and this place caught my eye so off I drove. I pulled in and my friend was a little concerned but I was good. We walked in and I sat down. My friend with to the bathroom which is outside. We both ordered a drink. We also both ordered the beef bulgogi. Which was freaking delicious. The service was excellent and she was ver my attentive. I was so pleased with the quality of what we got. The ambiance is very much down to earth, basic even. But this is where you get some of the best food and it shows and tastes here. I will be back.

Ultra authentic Korean. We eat at Yung's every time we're in town... So good. Don't be fooled by the hole in the wall vibe... The food is as fresh and authentic as you're going to find - You'll be hard pressed to find a better Korean joint in the Dayton area. Recommend the mandu and beef bulgogi, which are always exceptional. Yung's is a must stop if you dig Korean food.

Great experience! The food was fantastic, and very traditional. Spice level was 1-5, of course I got 5 it was like a "5" so A nice kick. The calamari dish was fantastic, and the Mandu was perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful. Ojingeo-bokkeum was great lunch special left me wanting more, lol Atmosphere was very nice, mostly quiet, and the staff was courteous and kind. They had almost no wait for food even though they were packed! Prices were not bad at all I got a small appotzier, a bunch of a la carte dishes for the table and a lunch special for $20. 10/10 would go back!

Pork Bulgogi Special $12

This is a small restaurant near WPAFB. It's great! It's gotten busier and busier ever since the coronavirus ended, and the service isn't any slower. The staff is very friendly and the food comes out very very fast. I got the pork bulgogli and it came with a lot of food and many banchan. The pork was very flavorful and tender. I really liked the fact that you also got two dumplings and all this great banchan. They have a great lunch special that gives you all this food for $12. You can also get a barley-type tea here. I recommend this restaurant.

Bulgogi

I really wanted to love Yung's so bad but sadly I was very disappointed. I absolutely love Korean cuisine and the reviews seemed great so my partner and I gave it a try. I love Beef Bulgogi and Mandu and so ordered each. The Bulgogi was very dry, salty with very little sauce at all and almost no glaze to the beef. It was like a dry beef jerky over rice. I had about 1/2 of my order and couldn't take the rest. The Mandu wasn't much better. I understand that it traditionally is made from different flours depending on the area of Korea. These were so overpowered with toasted sesame that you really couldn't taste the filling, which was very thin and tasteless. Unfortunately I can not recommend Yung's and I'm sure we won't be going back.

Galbi
Vikash K.

Ordered the Galbi and was looking forward to the meal, but very bland and bit too soggy. Wish the cooked it a bit more to add some charred also the skillet to be heated. Really enjoyed the sides that came with my meal, the pickles, kimchi, and fish cakes were all very good. Just wished the Galbi was as good.

I like getting the pork bulgolgi lunch special here. Good portion and comes with your classic Korean side dishes.

It's like mum used to make. Well, not my mum since she wasn't Korean, but maybe a friend's mum…read more Since Ashley/Ae Sook's second business is in her grocery store, it's easy to get fresh ingredients. She cooks the same things for us that she cooks for herself. Today, I had a hunger for bi bim bop, but she removed that from the menu. Instead, I got chop chae/jap chae and she added what we would call side items in a restaurant. She also poured some soup since I was the last one eating before close. The soup was okay but it probably would have tasted better if I had eaten it first. The mix of the jap chae and kim chi threw it off. In any case, I enjoyed it as much for the taste as it felt like eating at someone's house. There wasn't a thought of "this is restaurant food". It wasn't. It was home-cooked food. Sure, we've all been to a house where someone couldn't cook, but this wasn't the case. It was consistent with Korean restaurants all over the U.S.A. That's awesome considering there was no fancy menu, no fancy table, and some really down-to-earth conversation, as though you were with relatives.

The bulgogi was the worst I've ever had in my life. I pulled a bottle of Chilsung out of the fridge and paid $1.89 for it and it was FLAT!!! Selection of grocery items was decent. Ashley is very nice so 1 extra star for service.
