I've only had Asian King a few times because they're a little bit out of the way from where I live but overall they have the best Chinese food in Dayton. Their egg rolls are huge and flavorful and their main dishes just have more flavor than the other Chinese spots in this city. read more

We've been ordering from this place for years, but when they changed management, the food changed a bit. Just tonight, we ordered Mongolian Beef, and there's small prices of beef. Thin, small pieces of it but TONS of onions. It is DELISH, but "Where's the beef?" We'll order again but skipping this particular order next time. read more

Sorry, can't give much of a good review. We've been there twice and tried different things. Their food is just blah. Empress chicken was not spicy and the chicken was like biting into a soft bone. I've been ordering here for about six years and they're consistently wonderful. Some of my family's go-to's are: Chicken on a Stick, Crab Rangoon, Fried Pork Dumplings, Szechuan Garlic Wontons, General Tso's Chicken, and Szechuan Noodle Soup with rice noodles (perfect, spicy soup for winter)! The food was served quickly and fresh. It was tasty and fairly inexpensive. I would recommend this place for a quick lunch.

They have fantastic food. It is run like a family restaurant. They do have a long wait, but it's worth it for the quality of the food. Their boba is hit or miss depending on the day. I would plan on adding an extra 10 minutes on top of the quoted time. Their prices are on the higher end, but it's still one of my families favorite places for Chinese food. Inside isn't the nicest it's messy, but I don't plan on eating in there anyway so no harm. read more

This is an update to my previous post. I know prices are going up everywhere but it shouldn't give people a license to rip people off. I went and purchased a large order of vegetable rice and small spring roll. When I opened the carton there were vegetables on top but nothing in the actual rice. Maybe a few pieces near the bottom. I didn't want rice with vegetables, I want vegetable fried rice. The springs rolls are so small. That cost $14.00. I was very disappointed as it wasn't that long ago when the food was great. read more

We used to really like this place until it was sold. The new owners are extremely nice but the food is just not as good as before. The PORK dumplings are definitely not PORK....they're chicken. The egg rolls have a ramen noodle flavor which was not appetizing. read more

I would give this place 4.5 stars if I could. We always order delivery on Doordash. Long wait times are to be expected. The sesame chicken, general tso's chicken, vegetable lo mein, hot & sour soup, egg drop soup, and steamed pot stickers here are always good. I didn't really like the chicken with broccoli. A year later with an update- this is the only Chinese place in Beavercreek that's ever open past 9... so it's the only place I continually order from (damn you, east coast for spoiling me with Chinese food 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week); I digress. Out of all the combos and specials I've ordered over the past year, I have to admit that the coconut shrimp is the best dish to get. The shrimp is half the size of my palm and the sauce is gooey and overly sweet (yummy and so a la americaine). It's across the street from Kroger near Subway. I swear by all that it holy, if the food here wasn't so good I'd quit going. My only complaint is the wait time. If you order ASAP online it states a 20 min lead time. Not bad, but I expect to be able to pick it up in 20 min, nope! Once you arrive, you must call to let them know you are there (COVID rules). Then you sit in your car for another 10-20 min waiting for them to call you back to let you know it's ready. Why TF do I have to wait to pickup what I ordered online if I've already let you know when I will arrive to pick it up? If I want to ensure it's fresh and hot, then I'll show up on time. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN WITH THIS PLACE!! We walked inside and were kindly greeted by a sweet, Chinese girl maybe 12 or 13 years old standing behind the register. When I started my usual speech explaining that I'm gluten-free and "does this have gluten? Does that have gluten?" she grabbed her dad (the head chef) who came to help with a smile. He pointed out all of the gluten-free menu items to me and even offered to make some fresh fried rice without soy sauce! I settled on the shrimp Mei Fun and the gluten-free fried rice. Then while we waited for our food, the chef's ADORABLE daughter (5 years old) tossed a paper airplane back and forth with us. She was so precious and just as sweet as her other family members. It made the short wait time feel even shorter! Both myself and my family were impressed with our food! my usually pessimistic little brother said, (and I quote) "this is the best egg drop soup ever." The hubby and I get delivery from here. We have had many items on their menu. All of our food arrives hot, and it tastes good. We almost always ask for extra spicy since that is our preference, and we always get hot and sour soup and either the Ma Po Tofu or the spicy green beans. For other dishes we have tried, beef in Szechuan sauce and chicken in hot and spicy sauce. We have also tried their Pho. For delivery, it wasn't half bad. read more

Had the General Tso's Chicken with Shrimp and Vegetables - a "Chef's Specialty" - which together with rice and a drink cost nearly $14. The chicken was mostly batter and overly sweet sauce, and there were maybe 3 textureless shrimp. When you can get a better meal for less at a chain Chinese place, why wouldn't you? P.S. Definitely a takeout place if you must - the interior is depressing and just as easily might have once been a dry cleaners. read more

Ordered on a busy Wed night, fully expecting the wait to be longer than online quote of 20 mins. Waited about an hour but it was well worth it! To be honest, every night this week has been busy for Asian King. They had quite a few canceled orders due to the wait, so keep this in mind if ordering during quarantine! Our order included crab rangoon, steamed dumpling, fried wontons, chicken on a stick, egg rolls, lo mein, mei fun, sesame chicken, black pepper chicken, and what I think was teriyaki chicken (freebie). The crab Rangoon's are huge and very delicious but the other items we ordered were less than excitable and the common theme I found was they were all lacking in flavor. We usually order from China Wok, but because they are closed on Sundays we tried this place. Meh... Is all I have to say about this meal. I have their food often and think it's the best Asian food in the area. I love that they deliver and the employees are so welcoming and friendly. The portions are huge and the prices are awesome. They don't skimp on any ingredients. I've eaten many of their dishes, and it's simply the best in the area. It takes a longer amount of time to cook than most places, but with their delivery option there are ways around waiting in store. You are also able to call in ahead of time.
