Definitely a solid 4 stars. I would have given it 5 but service was a little slow and I needed to ask about getting our drinks. But walking in we were greeted in a timely fashion and being able to watch the noodles being made was awesome. Pros: large portions and friendly service. Even though it took maybe 15 minutes to get an order of steam dumplings, I can also understand that everything is made in house. We ordered the pork and cabbage steamed dumplings. Very good. I wanted to try the spicy wonton side dish. So next time. I ordered the beef and jalapeno dish. I loved it. The jalapeños weren't spicy but had a mild crunch to them. The beef was cooked really well. Had a light sauce on the bottom of the bowl that paired well with everything else. My husband ordered the Peking Wonton soup. The broth was light with a subtle taste that I couldn't identify. But it was a nice light broth. You could easily order half the menu since it's a small menu. Cons: I had to ask for our drinks, which our waiter forgot but did comp them. It was a diet coke and an unsweet ice tea. Service was a bit slower than I would have wanted. This is not a get in and out quickly restaurant. We did not see our waitress for more than half the time. Small little noodle shop in Lone Tree where you can watch them hand pull noodles. There isn't a ton of seating and it can get busy. This isn't a great place for large parties ( 4+) or to linger and chat. Most tables are 2 and 4 seaters. If there's a wait, they'll hand write your name and number of people in your party on a notepad old school style. We went on a Friday evening around 6 and waited about 15 min for a table for 3. The food is okay. I liked the beef rolls (appetizer) and the noodles were good, but the broth could have been more flavorful. The spicy dishes are not very spicy at all (they're American spicy I suppose). This place actually lived up to the reviews! We arrived just before 6:00, were promptly greeted and didn't have to wait too long for a large table to open up. They did a great job cleaning the table and seats. The service is efficient, and not super friendly, but courteous enough to feel taken care of. You can tell they're used to a speedy turn around time because they get the food to you quickly, and it somewhat feels like they expect you to eat quickly as well because they're busy! This place is a gem in an area where great food is almost non existent! The noodles are hand pulled right before your eyes. The broths and dumplings are outstanding. Not a single item we tried was bad. The only low point was the pork rib soup. The pork itself was extremely dry. I would definitely choose the pork belly over the rib. Anything on the menu was seriously delicious and the prices were extremely reasonable for the quality. I highly recommend this place and we will be adding this into our regular rotation of new favorite restaurants. Get there early if you want to beat the rush. If I were in heaven, this is the restaurant I would envision myself eating at daily. It's just that good. Yu's Noodle Shop truly delivers. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with the sight of a cook pulling noodles at an extremely fast pace. Very satisfying and interesting. We sat down and got some water, which was promptly refilled as soon as anyone took a couple sips-what I like to see. We got the Dan-Dan noodles, Yu's Beef Noodle Soup, Beef and Jalapeño Noodles, and Beef Shank Noodle Soup. The broth in the soups was absolutely unmatched flavor-wise. The only thing that could have elevated it with some spice was chili oil, which was conveniently provided in a bowl at our table for us to add to our liking. The noodles in all of the dishes were definitely the main component, hence the name of the restaurant, and they were truly the star of the show. Slightly chewy yet light. The perfect thickness, as well. And the meat was also magical. We all got some form of beef or pork, and in all forms, it was perfect. Tender, juicy, and good at soaking up all the delicious flavors from the broth and/or chili oil. All in all, my experience at Yu's Noodle Shop was intensely flavorful and utterly enjoyable. Because they're made to order, the texture is perfectly chewy with a nice bounce--fun to eat and incredibly satisfying. I especially appreciated the dan dan noodles. They had more meat than most I've tried, so I wasn't fighting for that noodles:meat ratio. The flavors were rich and well-balanced. My husband ordered the beef noodle soup, and the broth transported us straight to China. It's deeply flavorful yet light on the palate, with a complex umami that comes together beautifully. From the reviews I thought the service was going to be pretty slow but it ended up but a quick lunch experience. I ordered the beef noodle soup as a baseline, they have a disclaimer at the bottom of the menu that says if you don't like cilantro, let them know. They truly hook you up with cilantro here which I wasn't expecting, Food came out quick, the noodles and beef were delicious. You can tell the noodles are fresh and made on spot. The broth was....ok. It was light and a bit floral which I wasn't expecting since I'm used to Taiwanese style beef noodle soup. Oof this review has been sitting in my drafts! But I definitely want to submit this one becase the food here was great! I will say my parents being from Taiwan weren't as impressed as me, but I really loved being able to get these dishes in Denver. My young kids also really enjoyed watching the noodles being made. With eight of us, we almost ordered everything on the menu (which isn't huge - noodles, rice, side dishes). My favorite noodle dish was the Dan Dan Noodles - loved the spicy sauce. I ordered the Chicken Sesame Cold Noodles and was hoping for more of a sweet, creamy, nutty sauce - but this one came with a sour, watery sauce. Did not love it. I actually mixed in some of my husband's Dan Dan Noodles sauce, but I did love all of the veggies and the healthier flavors. We were in the area and finally made a stop at Yu's. It's a cute little Chinese Taiwanese noodle shop in Lone Tree. It's very small and if you come during dinner, it can get busy and there can be a bit of wait. Overall, it's pretty clean and staff is nice. Food comes relatively quick. We ordered the beef pancake as an appetizer and it was so good. It comes wrapped with this sauce that just kinda elevates the whole bite. It's also quite filled with beef so you get a lot of food for what you pay for. The beef noodle soup was delicious and just what I needed. It's hard to find a good Taiwanese beef noodle soup but this hit the spot. So so good. We were promptly seated upon our entrance on a Friday night.The restaurant is smaller than the usual though, so I would recommend coming a little earlier on a weekend for potential wait. The beef noodle had a good amount of beef in it and all four dishes provided a decent portion. The Dan Dan noodles provided the delicious rattan spice that made my water sweet :). Yu's Noodle Shop is not only the best noodle shop in the south suburbs, it's one of the best in the Denver area. The beef noodle soup is my personal favorite in the Denver Metro area. Inside, Yu's is both bigger and nicer than you'd expect, but it strikes a nice balance between being a place that you'd feel comfortable eating at by yourself or with a group (up to 4 is probably ideal). If you come here, you can't skip out on the noodles, but the dumplings are surprisingly good. I will warn that Yu's is MUCH better when you dine in. If you get Yu's as takeout, the handmade noodles do not travel well. There are some foods, like Neapolitan pizza and handmade noodles, that are orders of magnitude better when you dine in vs. getting them as takeout. Luckily, it's a lovely place to be, and the service is super friendly. This is one of the best restaurants in the south Denver suburbs. It's centrally located for the burbs, and you can't go wrong with anything that includes the word "noodle" on the menu. read more

On my way home and not wanting to cook, Ive had Yu's in the past and remembered it to be good so decided to stop in and pick up something to go. For the family. Ordered wonton noodle soup, crab cheese wontons, Dan Dan noodles and pork belly noodles. I must say the food was hot and fresh, they took the time and care to separate the broth from the noodles. Portions of the noodles were all large enuf for second meal the next day. Separating the broth allowed for use of just enuf broth to cover a portion of the noodles and have firm ones for the next day. Dan Dan noodles were great, asked for spice and they gave it to me... but it wasn't a bad spice, or one that you'd regret the next morning ..... it was tasty and gave enuf heat to make the dish exciting but not too overpowering.... Crab cheese wontons were great!!! Crispy and the filling tasted homemade (will ask them about it next time) . I noticed they had a nice crowd in the small restaurant and every seat was taken but two... the lady who greeted me retrieved my order and presented it with a smile and a genuine "thank you". I hope the locals who are used to just fast food chains etc... south of Denver give this a try and help keep them going. Came here on a Sunday night and they apparently do not take reservations so we came early luckily. We did order two of the soup bowls and two appetizers. This was more than enough to share amongst three adults as the soup bowls are larger than they probably look in the photos. While we were there, we had some good timing as to watch the actual noodles being made behind the glass. It is always a great site to see the art of hand making noodles. This place is truly an authentic northern Chinese cuisine restaurant. They obviously are making efforts to infuse other influences, which is evident with the Peking wonton soup and the crab and cheese wontons. I will say that you don't get a dedicated waiter, but everyone is around walking around trying to help you take your order do some refills, etc. This does lead to a little bit of confusion. It is in a strip mall with lots of parking so that was very easy. There is no real waiting area and I think they need to expand because even while we had our early brief dinner, there were quite a few people coming in and quite a few people waiting. The decor lends itself to look very cultural as well as clean. I actually do like the choice of the booth furniture and chair furniture. Very modern as well. What a great find in Lone Tree! Delicious, homemade noodles that are done right in house. You can even watch them make them. The portions are excellent for the price and there are usually leftovers.
