I came here on a Friday night with two family friends. We had reservations for the patio, but there were still open tables available for walk-ins. From the second I walked in, service was impeccable, welcoming, and helpful. Staff went above and beyond to walk me to the restroom (as it was my first time dining here), out to my patio table, and quickly brought water. Anything cold adds to the buzzing, vibrating energy; pair the flower with a cold cocktail and it's a phenomenal experience! We also had a bottle of white wine - it was to be expected: tasty. We tried the crab rangoons and thought they were a fun snack, although $21 for four rangoons was tough. I could've gone to Panda Express and gotten four for $3.99 and called it a day. Christine and I both had the Miso Sea Bass - easily the crowd favorite. Even though it was light, it was very flavorful with the sauce, mushrooms, and rice included in the meal. Her attitude towards us and just the clear attitude she was showing by slamming things and being clearly annoyed by whatever went wrong on her phone (mind you she was constantly on it) changed the whole dynamic. Stopped in before a show at comedy works with some friends and you totally understand why people come to this place. It's very upscale but in the classic Denver way where it really doesn't matter what your attire is or the occasion, everyone is there to have a good time. Also kinda crazy to see bottle service in a restaurant but it was fun. The food we had was really good!! I had a noodle salad with teriyaki chicken and my partner had sesame chicken and both tasted great. The edamame needed some sauce but it tasted fresh. Nice and quiet spot for a weekday lunch. They had a special lunch menu which had bento boxes, but we opted to order off the regular menu. Ambiance is 10/10, the restaurant is clean, and the interior was quite intriguing, with snazzy white booths and velvet curtains. Waitress was professional and attentive. As for food, I ordered a rainbow roll and the Korean Fried Cauliflower. The fish on top of the rainbow roll (salmon, yellowtail, tuna) tasted very fresh, which was great, but I wish they also added avocado on top (which is customary). The rainbow roll also had a mango salad topping (diced red onions, diced red bell peppers, tiny mango pieces), which I felt like added a strange flavor and didn't love. As for the cauliflower, it tasted like Orange chicken, and was perfectly fried. I enjoyed this dish, although they could make improvements by making it slightly less sweet. Went to Jing for dinner with coworkers. We had a reservation set for 6:30pm on a Tuesday. The food came out noticeably slow as well. The food was mediocre at best. I had a crab rangoon, which was standard. I had a serving of their version of rock shrimp tempura that I've had better elsewhere. I tried a bit of the kung pao chicken. It was healthier tasting than usual, probably because the chicken pieces were of white meat, but the flavors were basic. I got the pecking duck as my entree and thought the duck was dry. One of my coworkers got the fried rice with chicken and shrimp and had to ask for a side of soy sauce to give it more flavor. I would take the comfort food of a traditional mom's and pop's Chinese restaurant over the Asian fusion dishes at Jing. read more

Went with a large party of 10 for Father's Day dinner. We snagged an early reservation to beat the crowd and arrived at 4:30pm. There were only about 2 other tables seated when we arrived. The tables filled up through the course of our meal. Our server, whose name I just cannot remember, was fantastic. He was always on top of things, and despite them being out of a couple selections made some good replacement suggestions and kept everyone happy. Some of the things we ordered: - crab rangoons -- standard, passed the test with our 2 kids while still being enjoyed by the adults - ahi poke crisps -- these were good, albeit small... came 4 pieces to an order. - lobster dim sum -- we ordered these because our kids wanted dumplings and sadly they were out of the meat dumplings. The kids enjoyed them, as we asked for the curry sauce on the side. - Miso Black Cod -- they were also out of this, so they subbed the fish for sea bass instead. This was an improvement in the fish for sure. Delicious and the coconut sticky rice was a good complement. - Peking Duck with buns -- this was good. In comparison to authentic Chinese restaurants, I would say the skin could've been crispier, and needed more veggies and buns, but still enjoyable. - Electric Dragon roll -- we were hesitant to get this because of the "pop rocks" listed but from what we could tell it was just the masago that made the popping sensation rather than actual pop rocks. So, as a pretty standard dragon sushi roll it was good. - Yellowtail roll -- also standard as you'd expect and yummy. - Honey Shrimp and Scallops -- this dish was crispy, flavorful and enjoyable. Our table also ordered the sesame chicken, salmon dish and cauliflower but I didn't personally try them. Drink wise, we had the Drunken Buddha and also got a Lychee Mocktail. The Buddha Button is an interesting little flower bud that when you bite it causes your mouth to go tingly and numb. Changes the flavor of your drink so they said to try the drink first then chew the Buddha button and try it again. My husband said it made his drink much less sweet, which he didn't prefer.. but my dad actually preferred it less sweet. So, I chose not to chew mine as I like my drinks more sweet. Drink itself was yummy and I went for seconds. Dessert wise, we got the salted caramel cheesecake, the chocolate mousse and the key lime pie. Overall consensus was that the key lime was the winner. My partner made reservations for my birthday dinner and we were sat promptly in the back of the dining room. The decor in this restaurant is very fabulous and extravagant. We ordered sake and it was tasty. We also ordered a couple of rolls. I was super disappointed with the rolls as they were drowned in sauce. It was to the point that I scooped sauce off the roll because it was overpowering the rest of the roll. The stars all go to the Miso Seabass dish. It's actual perfection. The seabass is perfectly cooked. The saltiness of the mushroom is balancing with the coconut sticky rice to combine in a lovely sweet savory balance. Ala in all, Jing is a great place. It's a vibrant place to see and be seen. Jing USED to have the absolute best crab Rangoons; however, we were told the head line-cook decided to turn them in to crab & cheese empanadas. Rather than the light, crispy purses they used to be, they are now doughy, barely cooked Mexican-fusion and chewy triangles. And they charge $21.00 for them. Technically, the person who made this decision is called, internally, the head chef, but anyone who makes such awful food is a beginner line-cook. read more

This was my first time visiting Jing in Greenwood Village. I've been wanting to go to this restaurant for quite some time. I had only gone to Jing and Aspen and it was fantastic. I went out with my girlfriend for a ladies night meet up. We had dinner and drinks in the lounge. The service was great our waitress was very polite and knew the menu well. I had two cocktails that were originally mocktails that I asked to be converted to alcoholic beverage. It was some sort of lavender drink that had dry ice in it and looked like it was a potion boiling in a cauldron. It tasted divine. I ordered the scallops and so did one of my friends. Another friend of mine ordered a sushi roll, and we ordered the rib tips. I also ordered the Red Snapper Hamachi. The food was so good. I preferred to have my scallops seared. These were lightly fried, but were still tasty. My girlfriends also had their own cocktails. The lounge was nice and the seating was well spread. We were put in a private area towards the back near the bar where there were quite a few people walking, which I did not like. Our seating was still comfortable, and cozy. Waited 7 mins for appetizer, then 14 for entrees. Not bad. Cauliflower itself isn't all that special as an appetizer, but it's drenched in this delicious sweet/sour sauce, so I def recommend. Mongolian "steak" was pretty good, although $30 for literally just beef, onions, and sauce is some sheisty business ngl. Here's the dumb part. On the menu, it says you can add fried rice to any entree, so I figured it would come as a base to the beef or something. Nope. Literally just a bowl of fried rice. I mean, it was fine, and it had a nice kick of pepper, but I paid an extra $8 for no reason. Just add it to the "sides" section! Didn't order a dessert bc I wanted something lighter, but all their options seem pretty heavy. Stole a few bites from my sister's cheesecake tho and it was good. Also, four bucks for a coke??? I loved this place. Some of my friends live in Colorado and I try and eat with them whenever I am in town. We often eat at my buddy's house but our forays into fancy restaurants have been quite successful. Jing was our most recent dinner together and it was really great. Reservations are a must here. We decided to wait at the bar while waiting for the rest of our party but that was not the best idea. This place is wildly popular and the bar was jammed packed. Bartenders were friendly and drinks were plentiful but the amount of people crammed in there made conversing difficult. We decided to head for the table which was a good idea. Despite not everyone being there, they let us sit. Our server was amazing. I do not remember her full name but the receipt says Pistol. Give this girl a raise. She handled our party with ease and was friendly, knowledgeable, and a joy to be around. We started with several appetizers including lettuce wraps, crab rangoon, and brussel sprouts. I thought the build your own lettuce wraps would be a good idea on date night with only you and one other person. Trying to build them with a table full of folks was a little awkward. But damn all of these things were good. I am not one to normally like crab rangoon, but these were the best I have ever had. Remember when I mentioned the plentiful drinks at the bar? They were flowing at the table too. I am normally a bourbon on the rocks kind of guy but since my friends got a smoked old fashioned, I ordered one too. While I may never order one again, this was the perfect example of a fancy and boujee cocktail If this is your sort of thing, you should get one. Delicious. The wine list was also pretty good and we had several glasses with dinner. An Uber is definitely in order here. My entree was the cowboy ribeye. It was perfectly cooked and was the star of the night. One would think that a steak wouldn't be good at a fusion restaurant but they would be wrong. The asparagus that came with it was perfectly cooked and equally delicious. This was truly a great meal. Jung is a great date night spot located in the DTC area of town. With plenty of other bars and restaurants in the area, as well as Comedy Works South there is plenty to keep you busy in the area. We opted to sit outside on a beautiful spring evening, and our server was very attentive (something that can be hit or miss with a lot of restaurants patio seating. The Patio is located right by the street so it is an awesome spot to feel in the action of the area. The food was so good we are disappointed we waited so long to try it. I am not a seafood eater, but my partner loves Sushi, and Jing's menu had enough choices to satisfy both of us. He only downside is that it is a bit pricy.
