Beef brisket with shaved noodle soup
    Ashley W.

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance : 4/5 The store front says Volcano tea house and I wouldn't typically get beef noodle soup at a boba place but I'm glad I gave it a try! Authentic spot for beef noodle soup. They have the lighter cleaner soup style. The brisket was so tender and they gave a decent amount of meat. I didn't even realize I was craving milk tea when this spot popped up on the list of restaurants. The staff checked on me multiple times and explained the sauces. Initially upon entering you may notice a weird smell..that would be my only complaint for this spot.

The service was decent and the food was okay. The beef was tender and the broth was well balanced however, the noodles were way overcooked. It didn't have the springy texture or freshness of handmade noodles. Now the reason why I ranked 2 stars was the water! The water tasted really bad. It had this stale taste due to old ice. I took one sip and I just couldn't get over it and my friend made the same comment. Please change the water filter or replace the ice!

The food here was super yummy and everything was made to order. I especially loved the crispy pork chop and the beef shank. The noodles had a good chew even 40 minutes later since I got takeout and they were perfect with just a little bit of chili oil. The sign outside says volcano tea house, so it's a bit tricky to find. You can also get bubble tea and other snacks here.

A delicious "hole in the wall" restaurant with great food and great customer service! My husband finished his chow hand pulled noodles with slice beef shank relatively fast due to enjoying his meal. I ordered the chow hand pulled noodles with beef brisket and ate some of it while in the restaurant. We asked for a to-go box for my leftovers since I really enjoyed the food. Aside from the kind person that took our orders, another worker (she was the one who brought us our food) was also kind and actually placed my leftovers in the to-go box. Overall great food and great customer service!

When trying to look for this place, I was under the impression it was called One More Noodle. I believe they used to be but they changed their name to Volcano Tea House. The place is a little hard to find since it's off to the side but it's definitely worth a visit! I got the dry stir-fried shaven noodles with beef brisket (highly recommend), popcorn chicken, and a taro milk tea for under $25 which is honestly a good price. The staff were also really nice and friendly as well. I went when it was a little quiet and the owner took the time to talk to me. Very sweet woman and she told me that their noodles are made very healthy with no additives other than salt. Would recommend if you're in the area!

That's a pretty strong endorsement. Also the interior of the restaurant was fairly modern and clean. For anyone unfamiliar with it, soondae (순대) is a traditional Korean blood sausage made by stuffing pork or beef intestines with a mixture of blood, glass noodles, rice or starch, and seasonings. It's one of Korea's most popular street foods and is typically enjoyed with salt or a dipping sauce. One thing to know before you go: this restaurant specializes in soup-based dishes. Every entrée revolves around soup, including the bulgogi. I had never seen bulgogi served in a broth before, so it was a pleasant surprise for both my boyfriend and me. Most of the soups also included clear glass noodles and came in a wide variety of combinations, so there were plenty of options to choose from. One detail I really appreciated was their takeout packaging. If you have leftovers, they use a professional heat-sealing machine that applies a thin plastic seal over the container before the lid goes on. It's a thoughtful touch that keeps the soup leak-proof and makes transporting leftovers much easier. If you're craving authentic Korean comfort food--especially soondae soup--this place is definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant is small and pretty busy throughout the day but we never had to worry about getting seated, filled with lots of anime knick knacks and even mangas for you to read (Yes my otakus rush there right now haha) Service has always been good with being seated right away as well as getting our orders in and drinks come pretty quickly. The staff is always fast paced in a good way, we always get checked in, asked for refills, and get our check/ togo boxes in a timely manner, nothing over the top too which I like. Only thing Ive noticed is that we dont really get our meals out at the same time and have to wait a bit in between which is not really a big deal. Katsu Ramen was great and will definetely be our to-go place for some quick nigiris and ramen with great fast service and great pricing with awesome japanese ambience!!!

My vietnamese blood cannot be picky about thìs place. We live 10 min from Asia central in federal and food here hands down beat most of our favorites. We ordered 1) clay pot fish (bone in). Huge portion. Worth it. And the flavor is authentic. 2) shaken beef. Tender. 3) to go salad combo. Even good the next day 4) bun Bo vermicelli. My hub said the best in Denver he had and he had a few 5) lotus wonton. My picky toddler liked it. 6) lemonade lychee. When you think of Vietnamese, Americans tend to think of Pho, noodle bowls and lemongrass chicken but we need more places the focuses in home cooking and dishes that locals eat. Ingredients are fresh and dishes pack a powerful flavor bomb...I mean wow! The use of shrimp paste and other traditional ingredients really elevate flavors that many Americans are not used to, but you have to try it to understand. Their claypots are a must order and with a side of rice....you'll be eating for days! The star of the night was the pork and calamari claypot which is cooked in shrimp paste and your favorite Vietnamese spices and herbs. You'll finish bowls of rice with this dish, it packs so much flavor that you'll be wanting more. It's a great mix of salty, sweet and umami from the fermented shrimp paste. The Vietnamese curry was thick and packed with succulent shrimp. The veggies at a very nice brightness to balance out the coconut milk. The last dish we had was a shrimp lemon grass in the clay pot and that was also a hit with everyone! Service is amazing and they definitely know how to recommend dishes to match your taste buds. They went out of the way to help everyone and it shows. If you need a new spot, check Dan Da!

Ordering and paying via QR code was actually enjoyable--super intuitive, and I liked being able to track orders in real time as dishes were accepted and delivered. Food-wise: * Edamame -- solid, exactly what you want to start * Pan-Fried Chive Pockets -- good, but not the star * Steamed Crab Soup -- flavorful, hit the spot That said, I tried a friend's pan-fried pork dumplings and yeah... that's the move next time. Bottom line: Efficient, modern ordering + legit food + good vibe. Easy recommendation, and I already know what I'm ordering next time.
