We got take out here purely based on one of the photos of the Wonton Soup. Wonton soup is what I crave when I am sick, however, I hate when the dumplings in it are wrinkly and shriveled up opposed to smooth and thick layers. Many places we have tried have the wrinkly ones, but the picture here did not look like that, and thankfully, I was correct! The wonton soup hit the spot and will definitely be the place I go for this when I'm sick in the future. We also got the general tao's chicken with fried rice, the stir fried rice noodles, and the crab cheese wontons. The crab cheese wontons had a sweetness to them, that we both really loved, honestly, these are probably my favorite crab cheese wontons I've ever had. The general tao's chicken, fried rice, and noodles were also good, but the stir fried rice noodles were our least favorite, they just seemed to be lacking a bit of flavor, but my husband also thought he was ordering lomein and not rice noodles, so that is also his bad. Second time doing takeout and I've been impressed with both the food and service. Ordered a couple different lo mein dishes. I was stunned when I saw the generous portions of meat. Tasted great! An appetizer order of fried shrimp was scrumptious. Orders of egg rolls and fried rice were satisfying too. And the prices make you appreciate ownership! Large (shared) parking lot. Cons: food was average at best. We did the family meal which was a good value and had lots of good options to choose from but not best tasting. This place is located in a small plaza next to the FedEx store. Plenty of parking and casual atmosphere. I ordered the broccoli beef lunch plate and a small side of egg drop soup. The fried rice was tasty, the sauce was very good, beef was pretty good, and the broccoli was very fresh. The egg drop soup was very tasty and reminded me of what my Chinese mother used to make at home. I would qualify this place as more Americanized Chinese food, but with more authentic flavors than a Panda Express or PF Chang's for sure. I really enjoy ordering from here because of the integrity and hard work of the people working it. I haven't been able to find a sesame chicken that I liked in so long and theirs is perfect. They make Vietnamese crystal rolls for me even though they're not on the menu and just had some last night and it was, as usual, fresh, clean and properly mixed. Their rice paper is always perfect too. Just a really neat place that you stay loyal to for good reason. Give it a try- promise you'll like crab cheese wontons are bomb, kung poa, Mongolian beef, sauces, flavor and overall consistency make it worth it. The Hunan chicken was the perfect spice level. The sweet and sour soup was good, but the egg drop soup had corn in it, which I dislike. I have been here twice now; the second time because I was craving their general tsao's chicken and fried rice. The portions are huge and the service is great. Oh - and the food is SOOOO yummy! You order at the counter and they have apple pay; there are places to sit, but I prefer take-out. My measure of good Chinese food is whether the chicken is real or... not. The chicken here is definitely flaky and real. I detest Chinese restaurants that have rubbery or slimy chicken! I wish I could give 5 stars because the food is delicious and they don't skimp on the meat portions. But the service and restaurant itself are subpar. Employees are not personable or very friendly. The inside is kind of a dive. However, if you can get past that, the quality of food and freshness keep us coming back. We're a family of 5. We order wonton soup, broccoli beef, hunan chicken and chicken lo mein. We always substitute one of the white rices with fried rice. Everything is SO delicious and fresh. The vegetables and meat are high quality. The fried rice doesn't seem to be much more than white rice with soy sauce mixed in but my kids enjoy it. We don't usually have to wait for our order. It usually takes about 25 minutes until it's ready. We get enough to have leftovers for at least 2 of us the next day and even microwaved it tastes delicious reheated (and we typically don't enjoy leftovers at our house). We'll continue to eat here almost weekly! read more

I understand things are difficult these days but... I ordered a large Won-Ton Soup, Dumplings and a Chicken with Snow Peas (which comes with a small rice). They gave one pack of crispy (soup) noodles for a large (quart) soup and one soy sauce for the large chicken dish. The next time I ordered I asked for an extra bag of noodles and an extra soy sauce. Upon review of my receipt (the next day) I noticed they charged $1.50 for the extra noodles and $0.50 for a packet of soy sauce (which was not even in the bag). I understand times are difficult but I feel if you order a large soup two bags of noodles should be provided. Do other places charge for an extra packet of soy sauce? read more

The gravy for both of our dinners was great! That is a big deal to us. The meat and vegetables were cooked perfect, not mushy at all and very fresh. And we loved the wonton soup. Worst food I have had from here ever. I received my order today and it is clear that everything is done in a crock pot. My chicken and beef were rare when most fry the meat, to perfection. Would not recommend. The food and service at Oriental Café Highlands Ranch CO has gone down hill over the past few years. This used to be my "go to" place for Chinese food and the staff was friendly. The prices were good. The food WAS great. No longer. The chef has changed. The ingredients have changed. The taste has changed to bland or greasy. The egg rolls are terrible. They have done everything they can to decrease costs (smaller portions, smaller boxes for take out, frozen or poorly made egg rolls, lower quality meats and vegetables, paper plates with eat in, higher prices) all at the cost of sacrificing good food. Worst of all, the staff is rude, especially the cashier and the delivery driver. The delivery person is impatient, rude and will stomp away talking about you if he doesn't think you tipped him well enough. The cashier will hang up on you if she thinks you are taking too much of her time. They just don't seem to care about their customers anymore. Will never eat here again. read more

I had accidentally charged it without realizing and paid again in cash.
