A cute little place in Roslyn! Got the lunch bento box with chicken katsu. In addition to a sliced up piece of chicken katsu, the box came with miso soup, a salad with ginger dressing, 4 shumai, a classic roll of your choice (I went for yellowtail avocado), and white rice. I thought almost everything in my bento box was delicious. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was a tad plain on its own but great when dipped into the tonkatsu sauce. The shumai was also tasty, and the yellowtail avocado roll was fresh. For under $20, I thought it was a more than good amount of food. The restaurant also gives you complimentary hot green tea, which was perfect for the rainy weather.

I came across this amazing #momakase deal for one person on Uber Eats and I just had to order it. For $40 bucks I had to choose two rolls and the rest are sushi and sashimi. I chose eel avocado and shrimp tempura rolls. When the food came in there was lots of pickled ginger which worked really well. There was also a good amount of wasabi to mix with the soy sauce. Totally worth the $40 bucks.

Came here on a whim because I was in the area. VERY happy with my choice. The food was ready within 10 minutes of calling it in. The sushi was very fresh and delicious. I got the lunch special which was a great deal because you get both a soup and salad while other place usually make you pick between the two. I would absolutely come back here again, everything from the sushi to the salad dressing was delicious. Highly recommend.

I was in the town area of Roslyn for a Self Care Day & decided to have lunch at Yuzu. The place is small & quaint just like the neighborhood. I got the Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box lunch special. It also came with salad & miso soup. My lunch was delicious and the service was excellent.

The rock shrimp came with a wasabi twist that was different and really tasty. The nigiri was delicious...clean, fresh, and high quality without trying too hard. Wagyu fried rice was fragrant, with crispy on the outside, soft andjuicy meat inside. Hamachi was amazing, hands down a highlight. We happened to be the only ones in the restaurant, and the staff was incredibly nice, even treated us to a free round of drinks. Would definitely come back!

I'd still recommend making a reservation just to be safe. The restaurant itself was really nice, the staff was friendly and attentive, and overall the food was good. We tried the truffle scallops, spicy scallop roll, A5 Wagyu crispy rice, snow crab roll, and two pieces of nigiri. The truffle scallops were delicious and one of our favorites, although the order only came with two pieces. The spicy scallop roll was delicious and snow crab roll was okay. The A5 Wagyu crispy rice was probably the only disappointment, the rice was more hard than crispy. The Akami and O-Toro nigiri were easily some of the best things we had. I didn't get pictures of them, but they were incredibly fresh and definitely worth ordering. Overall, a good experience with fresh sushi, good service, and several standout dishes. I'd definitely come back, especially for the nigiri and truffle scallops.

Good place for drinks and sushi!…read more Came for the lunch prix fixe ($37) and it was pretty worth it for the amount of food you get! Would recommend their spicy tuna roll appetizer (the sushi rolls are the best things here!). I got the braised short rib as my main. It was a tasty first few bites, but became a bit dry once you ran out of sauce (especially since it's a lean cut). The peanut noodles that it came with were alright. Ended with the banana wonton dessert! It only comes with 1 wonton, but the best part is the lychee sorbet and banana cream it comes with. Very yummy (and a small dessert but good enough to end the meal!) Overall, stick to the sushi! Get their drinks! Had the coconut and lychee cocktail which was super yummy. Service was amazing (constantly changing plates, cleaning up our table between courses, friendly). Would recommend a reservation especially if you come at night as it gets crowded.

This place has a tight seating arrangement inside. The tables are literally sitting so close that you might as well join the other table's conversation. We ordered two appetizers, and they were not bad, fairly decent: Crispy Rice with Tuna and Lettuce Cups. For the main course, I got the Braised Short Ribs, and my friend got the Wagyu Steak Frites. My meal came out cold, and the server immediately, without hesitation, returned the food, apologized, and brought out a fresh meal. The food was blah. We both didn't rave about our meals because the food was bland. I hope that this is not always the case. I did notice that the tables to the left and right of me only ordered sushi. So maybe I should have just ordered a variety of sushi rolls instead of the meals. I didn't even want to try the dessert because I didn't want to be disappointed.

We ordered a sashimi deluxe and sushi sashimi deluxe, diet Coke, hot green teas. No salad or miso soup was included - unusual. Sashimi, sushi and rolls were all fresh. 3.5 stars became 4 stars because they didn't serve "white tuna", usually escolar, a staple of lesser sushi places. Service was on par with casual Chinese takeout. Waitstaff seemed annoyed we were there. They cleaned the table while we were still sitting Kitchen entrees were huge but just ok food wise. Chicken was very dry and rice bland To be fair, we didn't get sushi but prices for sushi here were crazy. Same platter or chirashi I can get in manhattan for $18-20 was $45 here. But I've never ever encountered what I got from Tiga... even from far cheaper restaurants. Last year, I ordered 3 special rolls and excitedly picked them up. When I opened the package later, it appeared that they decided to squish all 3 of our rolls into one single plastic takeout container. So instead of each of us being able to enjoy the roll that we chose, we had to "share", dig from one container, with no other plates to use. Not only that, they squished the rolls so tightly together that the rice of the 3 rolls got stuck together, and the sauces of got mixed up. So as we tried to get our own rolls out to eat, it soon became like one container of fried rice - except it wasn't fried - just a mess of rice with toppings. For rolls that cost $20+ each, don't you think that each of the 3 of us deserved our own container to eat from? We were 3 colleagues who did not wish to eat out of one single bowl. I'm flabbergasted by Tiga.
