Went to see Yvonne for the first time yesterday afternoon. First, I have to give her recognition for being so patient after I circled the block twice and came in a few minutes late. I know none of us here are going to claim to have skin of steel and that everyone is 'sensitive' but my skin is usually very reactive to waxing and shaving. I scar easily and heal slowly. I was stunned by how easy Yvonne's Brazilian is and will definitely be coming back for more. Just walking into the spa is immediately disarming. The room is warmly lit without brightness and there are dressings about to make one feel very cozy and off-guard. Another great mark for Yvonne is that she does not rush you to get into the room or get ready. She showed me where the the things I would need were and let me take the time I needed without even being a presence. Also, she recommended a product for me to prevent ingrown hairs or rash as I am prone to them and I have to say I am very happy with it on my second day of using it. Kudos! read more

I found Yvonne through Yelp and was happy to find all the good reviews were true! She's friendly and works with my schedule which can be pretty unpredictable. Most importantly though, my eyebrows which have long been a source of frustration for me look BEAUTIFUL each time I leave. I'm back every 2-3 weeks to keep them looking nicely trimmed and perfectly angled. I was one of those kids with the big bushy eyebrows who was blessed to have a sister introduce her to the concept of waxing. The location is between Robinson and Pennsylvania with plenty of street parking and also parking in the back alley. OK so this is my long over due review for Yvonne. I forget how long I have been visiting her but I am another one of those people who followed her from B&B lounge. Yvonne is not only professional but she really knows what she is doing. I regularly get Brazilians, eyebrows, and facial. She is an expert at her craft! Her rate is very very fair. It is actually way less expensive than most places ($35 for Brazilian). The place is Carlsbad charges up to $75! ridiculous! Her clients are super loyal to her for a reason. I commute 30-40 minutes every 5 weeks to visit her. SOO worth it! I'm very particular about how I like things done and this includes a little design which requires a bit of artistic ability, nothing crazy but an eye to make things as even as possible and aesthetic to the eye, after all what I walk out of there with I'm pretty much committed to for the next 4 weeks. She even went as far as to use tweezers on those stubborn hairs that aren't quite long enough to get pulled by wax and she trimmed up the chosen strands that were to remain.
