They were also the most expensive out of three companies considered. In response to Intown's reply: We did pay $600 more to fix the hidden trim work. We didn't feel it was right to pay an additional $1,000 for that and other items addressed in the estimate. As for changing the scope of the project, the recommended paint did not perform as described by Intown. We could not see our way clear to pay an additional $1,400 on a $14,000 job. We used to be one of those 1,400 satisfied customers. Sorry we could not work this out.

At first, I assumed it was one of my daughters transforming her dinner into a projectile, but it turned out to be something much more concerning--a leaking skylight. I called my friend that had recently told me how happy he was with some work he had done at his house on a water damaged bedroom. He recommended Intown Craftsman and I called them that very night. I received a response the next morning, a phone call from Russ Melton. He assured me a member of the team would arrive soon with an estimate and even invited me to call him personally if I didn't hear from the team soon. There was no need, I received an email and a call later that day. Russ showed up the next day and provided an estimate for the project. While I had him there, I showed him some other issues with the house that had been on my "to-fix list" and he provided an estimate for those projects as well. The cost was exactly what I expected, and I gave him the go ahead to schedule workers ASAP. They came within a few days, even though it was all happening around the Thanksgiving holiday. Jose and another roofer (sorry, I didn't catch his name) showed up early for the appointment but waited out front until the appointed time. They were courteous, kind (even to my very excited dog), and had the problem fixed in no time. They even installed additional flashing to the second skylight (which hadn't yet started leaking) just as a precaution, free of charge. The office staff were just as kind and professional as the roofers. I worked with Deb Burris who helped me with billing and scheduling. The interface for billing was simple, the contracts and estimates were clear and easy to understand, and she was very knowledgeable and responsive over texts, emails and calls. I will certainly be calling them again soon for those other household projects. I recommend using them if you have any home improvement or repair needs.

If you're doing a reno, you have to go to Floor and Decor and find Arthur!…read more Arthur saw me wandering and helped me quickly locate some tile I had found online. After talking to him about my project and showing him pictures of what vibe I was going for, he helped me pick out the floor tile (as seen in the picture) and it was PERFECT. I didn't even know it existed before he pointed it out! Arthur was so kind and patient, & really understood the design I was going for. He gave me his direct contact info in case I needed anything else, and so thoughtfully called to check on me and see if I needed anything else. I will definitely be calling him next time I need to do another renovation!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Floor & Decor. I recently spent thousands of…read moredollars installing their "waterproof" LVP flooring throughout my entire home -- nearly 2,000 sq. ft., including the kitchen and bathrooms, exactly as their team recommended. Despite being assured the product was truly waterproof and appropriate for these areas, the flooring buckled, bubbled, and began trapping moisture shortly after installation. I had my insurance company inspect the issue, and they confirmed there were no leaks in my home. Their moisture reader showed that the flooring itself was holding water, and when it was removed, there was mold underneath -- a serious health hazard. Because mold is dangerous to breathe, the flooring had to be removed immediately. Yet when I contacted Floor & Decor for support under their lifetime residential warranty, I was told the warranty was voided simply because the flooring was removed -- even though removal was required for health and safety reasons. To make matters worse, the representative handling my case (Matt) was dismissive, repeatedly cut me off, and refused to allow me to submit photos, proof of installation, insurance reports, or documentation. I was not offered any investigation, partial refund, or even the courtesy of reviewing my case. I trusted Floor & Decor, invested heavily in their product, followed installation guidelines, and now I am left with ruined floors, mold exposure, and no accountability from the company. This experience has been devastating, and I would encourage anyone considering their "waterproof" LVP to proceed with caution and thoroughly research their warranty limitations. I sincerely hope Floor & Decor reconsiders their customer service approach and honors the warranties they promote.

The designers here are fabulous. How can this be the first review?…read more First thing to know - if you are purchasing your cabinets from them, the designer fees come included. (Brands include William Ohs, Downsview, Cabico). They have arrangements with a number of local stores to assist with lighting (ie Circa) and plumbing (ie Waterworks) and appliances that takes a reduction from retail. They also sell Cornue and Aga ranges and have a showroom full of examples of other brands and configurations. Our kitchen already had a 48" Viking and 48" Subzero, but lacked a workable floor plan and had 25 year old tile and track lighting. Laurie Lehrich worked magic by looking beyond what was currently in place. Sticker shock. I had a DECENT budget and after all design, cabinet selection, appliances - was already 30% over my budget. Laurie didn't even blink when I said we had to go back to the drawing board because I refused to go over budget. 5-star from start to installation. Could not have a better experience. If only I could afford a new master bath and closet - and when I can, I will be calling them to do the work!
