You guys have to try the jelly dessert. It's actually a very authentic Chinese dish especially after eating anything spicy. It's refreshing and healthy! We ordered the A1 noodles and there is plenty of noodles and super soothing!

Went there based off a friend's recommendation and it was good! They have vegan options. We got the rice noodle bowls because that's what we were told they're known for and they were delicious. Meat eaters and non-meat eaters alike were both very happy. The portions are huge so you will have leftovers. The servers were really nice and helpful as we asked our questions to learn more about the menu.

Went in on a Friday evening and really enjoyed our visit. It was fairly busy but we were seated right away. The staff is able to take your order or you can order using the QR codes on the tables. If you use the QR code, they will come confirm your order too which is nice. We ordered the cucumbers, shrimp wontons, pork soup dumplings, lamb kebab and their popular crossing the bridge noodle soup. And it was all so good! My favorites were the soup dumplings and the noodle soup. We did the spicy broth version and the broth was so delicious. They give you the meat, noodles and some side dishes separately to cook in the boiling broth at the table, sort of like a mini hotpot experience. I will note the noodles cook very quickly so keep that in mind. The inside is pretty large and has a very nice, casual ambiance. The staff was also friendly and helpful for answering questions. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

YY Time was a wonderful place to have lunch. It was an easy to find location in Asiatown and had ample parking. The restaurant was spacious and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful. It was not busy when we arrived, but oh my did it fill up in a hurry. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. My curry soup cannot piping hot and was absolutely delicious. There was so much soup I had enough for lunch the next day.

YYTime has the most romantic and date night vibe in the city, hands down. First of all, let's talk about the prices. Super affordable without skimping on portion size and quality. Fresh delicious food with an out of the world decor. Men, please take your lady ASAP. For the social media influences, RUN ‍ . Secret recommendations would have to be the pork belly skewers with a side of the beef fried. Not a combo but fire trust me

The soups at YYTime are perfect for a cold, snowy, wintry day in Cleveland! The decor inside is modern, bright, and colorful, and you can watch the snow falling while waiting for a big, steaming bowl of noodle soup to cool. I ordered the Rice Noodle Soup with Bone-In Beef, and it was delicious and satisfying. My partner ordered a fried rice dish, and it was excellent too. The Pumpkin Pancakes with Red Bean Paste were soft, warm, and sweet - a nice way to start and finish our meal. Friendly service, good portion sizes, convenient location with free parking in the front and back. Give this bright spot in Asiatown a try!

The restaurant itself is very spacious, clean, and new. It feels very comfortable. We had the cucumbers which were a great fresh starter dish. We enjoyed the chicken lo mein and really loved the spicy mini pork soup dumplings! The chicken bao were not our favorite, but we will definitely be back for more soup dumplings!

Came on a Saturday evening and were seated right away! The restaurant is easy to find and there's parking in the front and the back. The restaurant is very new and comfortable inside with trendy decor. The noodle soups come in boiling pots with noodles and toppings served on the side. You are also able to get one complimentary additional portion of noodles. The noodle texture is great and very fresh, and the soup bases were very flavorful. There are also many tea and slushy drink options which goes well with hot noodle soup. Would definitely recommend and will come again!

YYTime is famous for their rice noodle soup. I recommend getting the sour and spicy flavored crossing the bridge noodle soup (B5) the dish comes with sliced beef as well as other vegetables for you to add in the boiling soup. I also like their BBQ skewers and Sichuan brine meat and vegetables. You place an order by scanning the QR code on the table then the staff will bring food/ drinks out. They offer good selections of Chinese dishes and bubble tea drinks to choose from. There are many seatings inside and the place has a vibrant and modern vibe which is good for a get together with friends or family.

I love the interior vibe of this place with the unique decor and the cleanliness! Service was pretty good as well. Between my entree and trying stuff my family ordered, I was able to get a good sampling: - Signature rice noodle soup with braised bone-in pork: comes in a huge stone bowl that is in a plastic case so you don't get burned (smart idea). The soup had so much depth of flavor without being too salty, which is quite an accomplishment. Wasn't sure how I'd feel about lettuce inside soup, but I liked the fresh crunch. Good amount of noodles (which were good, but I wish they were a touch firmer), and the pork was delicious...I ate all the meat off the bone! - Mini fried pork bao (these were pan fried soup dumplings - sad that they didn't have the regular size buns, which I don't think are simply larger versions of this): had a nice potsticker-like crust on the bottom, flavorful pork, and tasty broth inside. - I tried some of the bbq grilled chicken wings and grilled lotus roots: they had a sweet and savory seasoning powder all over, like crack seasoning at HopCat! Very good. - Braised beef brisket with rice: tried some of the "mook" (deckle: cartilage connecting meat to rib cage) - sauce had good flavor but the mook was a little chewy, although I've had worse. Rice was shaped in a cool pyramid shape. I was torn between 4 and 5 stars because it really was an enjoyable meal! I'd definitely be back here to try other things!

I visited on Friday evening, 13 December 2024 with some Yelp friends plus one non-Yelper (LOL). We met for dinner around 6:30pm/7:00pm. This is a very large restaurant so there are lots of seating available. I ordered the R4 (beef brisket with white rice - $13,99), the E2 (deep fried mini buns - $3.99), and a cauliflower side which isn't labeled with a letter on the menu - $4.99. The beef was fine but it needed more flavour. My favourite dish which was really a snack was the deep fried mini buns which tasted delicious as it came with thick condensed milk that the buns could be dipped in. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal. I want to come back and try their bubble tea. I can't wait to come back for lunch or dinner. **** GOAL of 365 reviews in 2025 - 4/365 total reviews in 2025 - 785 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 January 2025

Is this place good for a large party, say a group of 9 people? Is it a sit down place or kind of a fast food concept (meaning you order your own food at the counter etc)? Do they take reservation? Thank you so much?

It's sit down. There are tables. They don't take reservations. People will come in to order food to go at the counter. When you arrive just simply let whoever greets you that you are dining in. It's very accommodating here & 9 shouldn't be a problem.

    Is this place BYOB?

It isn't. No outside beverages can be brought in.

Unlike most other cuisines, with which I am extremely adventurous and not only willing, but look forward to trying new things and experimenting. I am a bit timid with Asian cuisine. I find it a bit challenging to navigate their typically extensive menus. Based on a recommendation from a foodie I hold in high regard, we went to "Han Chinese Kabob & Grill" last night. I was informed it is a small establishment so we called for reservations. We were told they do not take them and to be assured of a table we should arrive early. So we showed up before 6pm to a basically empty restaurant. We were seated quickly by a pleasant young woman that spoke no English at all. When we ask a question she went off right away to find our server for help. Within the next 15 minutes the dining room went from empty to full like someone had thrown a switch. It remained that way the entire time we were there. Very soon a wonderful young woman arrived at our table. She provided water, answered several questions, and took our orders. She was very pleasant and professional. I ordered an excellent brown sugar milk tea along with a great cucumber salad and marvelous lamb chops. Some of the meatiest chops I have ever had. Just about everything is available with any level of heat you desire. I am typically very reserved when it comes to spicy foods. I find it hides the true flavors of the ingredients so I always order with no heat. My entire meal was prepared perfectly. My wife and our guests felt the same way about their selections. There was plenty of food to take home for another meal. Our final surprise was when we received our bill and discovered how affordable it was to eat so well. We had an excellent experience and enjoyed our stay very much. We will definitely return.

I have been coming to this restaurant in many variations, owners and names, but it still remains consistently delicious and authentic. The decor is so moms, non existent really, there are menu pictures on the wall, Payne Avenue is always under construction or lacking enough storefronts but I will always come home to eat. The egg drop soup, I know it's simple, but it's full of yolk and large pieces of egg, especially if you hit it with white pepper for an extra punch. The beef with spicy green beans are full of flavor, tender and the best I town. The pan fried noodles, tonight we ordered 2 different variations, veggie full of s variety of mushrooms and the seafood full of Chinese broccoli l, shrimp, scallops and garlic, the perfect consistency of crunchy with a little bit of saucy noodles. We ordered the rare beef noodle soup, a dish with spicy fish, and a clay pot brisket dish. Rare beef noodle soup: (3/5) This dish came with sliced rare beef, onions, bean sprouts, noodles, veggies, and a few other things. The soup was kind of bland and the beef portions were kind of small. The noodles were also average. Spicy fish dish: (5/5) It was indeed spicy and the fish and vegetables were delicious. The fish was tender and had a nice texture unlike some other restaurants that just heat things up in a bag. Brisket clay pot: (5/5) The brisket was super tender and tasty. The vegetables and radish that came with it also had a nice flavor. I know few restaurants that can make this dish as good as this one. Service: (4/5) Our server came to refill water frequently and checked in on us. Ambiance: (3/5) It was nice and quiet since we came close to closing time. One of the employees was eating in the back. The interior was clean though the bathrooms were kind of wet and they had no paper towels and had a moldy hand dryer. Just so you know, they don't have hot tea for free.
