Visited Reef Al Yemen for dinner since I wanted to try Yemeni food for the first time and I had heard about this restaurant from other reviewers. When walking in there were 2 workers at the counter and neither of them greeted us when we walked in. I am a firm believer in first impressions and not being greeted was a bad one. I will say the food was actually very good which almost takes the poor service away almost. We tried the malawah bread which was served hot and boy was it huge. We also tried the hummus which was the perfect dip for the malawah bread. For our entrees we tried the lamb haneeth which was served with vegetables and rice along with lamb soup. The dish was huge and the lamb was very tender where a knife was not needed. I enjoyed all of the flavors of the dish and were very unique. We also tried the Pompano fish that was served with rice and was also very delicious and was very perfectly made. Now going back to the service at the conclusion of our meal neither server came to our table to ask about leftover boxes or to ask us about dessert or whether or not we were ready for the check. We actually had to get one of the servers attention a couple of times until she finally noticed. Now what is going well for this restaurant is the delicious food which is the first of its kind in Cleveland however where this restaurant lacks is the service which ultimately will affect the longevity of this restaurant. I do hope the service improves since I can tell what an asset this restaurant potentially could be to the restaurant landscape of Cleveland.

A friend and I ordered takeout from here during out recently catchup and it was very tasty! We ordered thr mixed appetizer (hummus, baba ganoush and fattoush) along with Yemeni malawah bread (bigger than our heads!). We also ordered the Lamb Akadah which was tasty and the Areeka which we basically ate as dessert. This was our first taste of Yemeni food and honestly I'm ready for more!

Stopped in after seeing a recommendation on instagram. If you, like me, had never tried Yemeni food, I highly recommend trying for yourself! We ordered two dishes to share between two people. They brought out a very flavorful soup to start the meal that was a kind of rich and fatty broth and was delicious. The rice was amazing, and well seasoned with spices such as cardamom and saffron and I think coriander. I LOVED the lamb stew-- savory, in a spiced sauce. The veggies and meat were so tender and went really well with the amazing bread. The mixed grill was also good, my favorite was the tender and juicy chunks of steak. Ambience in here is casual, lots of deli kind of booths and tables. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great meal to share a few familiar and unfamiliar dishes with friends or family.

Not a smile to be had, very unapproachable, seemed bothered we were checking in for our reservation. For that reason alone, I will not be back anytime soon.

The service was attentive, and several people checked on us throughout our meal. I ordered the lobster ravioli, and my daughter ordered the pesto pasta and added chicken. Both dishes were excellent. The lobster ravioli was extremely flavorful, and my daughter really enjoyed the chicken with her pesto. This was some of the best Italian food I've had. This might not be saying a lot because I am from L.A. and we are not known for our Italian food. My only complaint was the bread. Most Italian restaurants offer complimentary bread for the table, but Mia Bella charges extra for it. That wouldn't bother me as much if the bread were something special, but it was extremely ordinary. It was warm, but otherwise pretty tasteless; no garlic, garlic butter, herbs, or anything else to make it memorable. I'd definitely skip the bread and order a legitimate appetizer instead. All in all, the experience was very strong, and I would definitely return.
