This place is so beautiful and the staff was amazing! We stopped for a quick breakfast and were not disappointed. Oatmeal was awesome and crepe was great. Coffee was awesome too. Highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite places in downtown Bel Air. The food is so delicious and the staff is always friendly and welcoming!

Visited this coffee shop early on Sunday morning, the staff were nice and even suggested the type of latte I should get because I had no clue as to what to get, lol! I ended up getting a hot latte with almond milk and French vanilla and it was super good! Me and my husband ordered two breakfast sandwiches on wheat grain toast with over medium eggs, tomato and avocado and it was Absolutely Delicious!! There were mixed reviews about this place, but I'm here to say, "IF YOU AEE IN THE AREA STOP BY, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED " oh and by the way , the decor was giving, "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas "!! Love it!

Pleasant respite Used my fav app (Yelp) looking for hot chocolate on this rainy dreary cold day.. I'd side-eyed "the vault" just yesterday passing through town It was listed as one of the top 10, and not a chain. Reviews the last year hadn't been kind, but I figured I'd give it a shot Parked in the rear, it's on a corner and a former bank. So had a drive thru, but I wanted to stop in. Quaint and festively decorated inside, it's a cool place to sit and chat w a friend, or plop on the couch and kill an hour like I did Wasn't really hungry but opted to try the grilled cheese with my hot cocoa, and the lady at the register coerced me into ordering her daughters' banana no-nut bread I cornered on the couch and didn't have to wait long for the piping hot gooey sharp cheese on sour dough sandwich. The cocoa was just ok..nothing spectacular (I got it with almond milk) but the sandwich was really good and I only ate half...I'd def come back. Too full to try the dessert, I carried it home. It wasn't crowded. No more than 4 other seated customers so I felt comfortable chilling on the couch on my phone, nibbling lol. When I got up to leave, another customer moved from their chair and plopped on "my comfortable couch corner" and wrapped himself around a comfy Christmas pillow..smiling through the window he waved goodbye Def recommend for the ambience, and the sandwich. Cocoa was drinkable, but not amazing. But the offer a variety of smoothies and bowls and breakfast things (sorry, didn't take a pic of the menu)

Friendly service, great menu options, clean atmosphere. If you're in the Harford County area, this is a must try!!

This was my first time here and had the motivated smoothie which was very good, tasted so fresh and refreshing. The employees were super friendly and answered any questions that I had about the menu. I'll definitely come back to try different items.

Tik Tok made me do it and I'm glad I did it!…read more My co-worker recently had been seeing some videos about the food at Newberry Cafe so of course we had to make a lunch time stop to see what everyone was talking about. Newberry reminds me of your hometown bakery where everyone gathers in the morning for their donuts and coffee before heading off to work. Very much like many of the shops in the Bel Air area. The employees are super nice at Newberry. Really taking their time to provide great customer service to each patron that strolls through the doors. Although it was lunch time we settled on breakfast sandwiches with homefries. And I of course had to grab a donut because it's a must, and a latte. The breakfast sandwich was just what you would want to start your day, a savory piece of meat and cheese on a soft bagel. But the star of the show was the homefries. Cooked and seasoned perfectly, crispy on the outside and a soft texture on the inside. We both loved the potatoes. My glazed donut was divine, pillowy with just the right amount of glaze to not make the donut too sweet. The latte was a little to sweet for me, but I'm a little finicky with the sugar level in many caffeinated drinks. All the times I've ventured into Bel Air I never thought to stop at Newberry and I'm glad I finally did. I'll definitely be back to try more of their yummy donuts and breakfast sandwiches in the future.

We loved them!! The coffee is not bitter, the lattes are not too milky or too sweet; it was just a perfect balance between flavor and coffee-taste. I highly recommend this spot and wished I was a local, just to go here more often! They have a mini trinket exchange, books to read, and a cute wall to hang up self portraits that guests can draw on sticky notes. I give this a solid 5/5 --literally no complaints at all.

I could smell the pastries! I loved how you could buy some of their cute trinkets or even coffee beans. Other reviews said the matcha was weak. I'm personally not a matcha fan but I was craving because they had a strawberry marshmallow matcha latte on their Feb drink menu! Matcha was not grainy. It wasn't too earthy. I think it was a perfect blend with just a hint of sweetness. I love how they added a cube of marshmallow too! It was a delicious treat after I finished the drink. Now onto the California toast. Could I have made this at home? Yes. Was the food 100% hitting the spot. Also yes! The bread was toasted to perfection. It's really elevated with the siracha honey and goat cheese spread. The croissants were enormous! If you like really big croissants, this is definitely the place. Lastly, the biscuit was homemade and packed with flavor. If they heated it up, that really would have taken it over the edge of greatness. If I lived more locally to this shop, I would stop in here all the time.
