A remarkable lunch!!! I went by myself and was surprised to see all of the tables were occupied, no worries I sat at the counter. I took a few minutes to review the menu. Eventually I settled on the Lunch Menu. I started out with the Gyoza as my appetizer. I enjoyed them thoroughly! As much as I love Pad Thai I had to go a separate route today, I chose the Spicy Basil w/ground chicken - level 3 heat. I have to eat gluten free now and we were so happy about all the gluten free options! They are able to do this as they make their dishes fresh, so if you get no, no, no at other Thai places these are dishes already prepared. We had Spicy Basil Chicken Stir Fry, Fresh Shrimp Spring Rolls with gluten free soy and peanut sauce, and tried Pad Woon Sen with beef for the first time! Like most Mondays i crave Thai food. Unfortunately my restaurant I would go to is closed.. luckily i found ZABB!! My food was delicious the pad see ew was well flavored, sometimes i can find it to be very greasy. I didn't have this issue at all, it tasted so fresh. The spring rolls omg the best I've ever had! You can tell these are made with love no pre made stuff. You can actually see black pepper specs inside. Super yummy a little spicy, which wasn't a problem just dip it in the sauce. Our waitress was very attentive, the staff as a whole is very friendly. As a staff passed the table they would say hello and ask if everything is ok. Upon leaving i heard at least three thank you for coming. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and spacious. The ambiance was very quiet. This building is in the same parking lot of 7 eleven. We needed to find a go-to Thai place since we moved to the area and luck would have it we scored on the first try! Zabb has all of the delicious Thai food you're craving... and I've already gone back for more! I appreciate a place that allows you spice levels because I unfortunately have a very Scottish tongue. :P You can choose Levels 1 to 5 for spiciness. I'm embarrassingly a 1, but my sister got a 3 so we were good to go! I love the Yellow Curry with chicken (with carrots, bell peppers, potatoes and onions) and Garlic and Pepper with chicken (served with broccoli). My sister got the Ginger with chicken and Pad See Ew with beef. Everything was amazingly fresh and delicious. It makes you want to stuff yourself silly! The staff is also super friendly and accommodating. I'm looking forward to my next visit to try some more Thai classics. read more

This was the most welcoming experience i've ever had at a restaurant, to say i'm beyond thankful is honestly not enough. I had one of the staff offer to take my son so I could eat, I have never had that happen before and it made me tear up because that was so selfless. I didn't get her name but thank you so much to her! I also didn't get the name of the other woman I spoke to but I just want you to know you give me hope. "Pay Fantastic Attention to Detail" is one of Disney's principles. We really have a lot of good - and some great (lookin' at you, Panang 2) - Thai restaurants. Zabb has moved to the top of my Thai charts because so many of their dishes have just a few small details that set them apart. I've tried several things, so I asked the waitress what I should try next. She suggested the Spicy Basil Stir Fry. I love basil stir fry, so thumbs up. I always love the cup of soup they bring. The miso is good, but the vegetable is super. Before you know it, a steaming plate of chicken basil stir fry and rice is set before me. Most times I've had basil stir fry, you get a plate of rice and a bowl of chicken/pork/beef with green and red peppers and basil in sauce similar to how a curry is served. The waitress tells me the ground chicken is a more traditional dish. With the first bite I notice the veggies taste so fresh. There is a nice brown sauce, but what a difference it makes in flavor when everything isn't literally swimming in a bowl of it. After having their pad see ew a few weeks ago, I tried versions from several other places. Zabb's apparently uses a little more dark soy at the end, so the noodles have a slightly sweeter flavor. I've also enjoyed their pad thai, curry puffs, chicken satay, sai aua sausage, and mango sticky rice. I bought a pint of their homemade peanut. It's great, but buy a smaller amount unless you're going to use a lot quickly. And the milk tea with boba is good. read more

The service was friendly, however- the overall experience was a bit disappointing. This restaurant is more of an Asian Fusion or Thai Fusion, rather than just a Thai restaurant- as they didn't just have Thai food- but Japanese as well. We decided to try one of their Thai Traditional Dish, Hat Yai Fried Chicken; the menu said it was served with Papaya Salad, it wasn't- it was served with their Garden Salad instead when it arrived. We weren't informed that- we were told that the Thai Grilled Pork didn't come with Papaya Salad, as I tried to order that initially. I ended up changing my order and stuck with a more basic choice, Pad See-ew, instead of the Thai Grilled Pork. If you're not going to honor what's on your menu, I would suggest updating it, to provide a better experience for your customers when ordering. The fried chicken, was not very flavorful and dull in color and topped with fried scallions as I'd that would add flavor, served along with a bag of sticky rice, two sauces and the garden salad. The Pad See-ew was decent and comparable to other local Thai restaurants in the area, but nothing that would set it apart from those other Thai restaurants either. Also, be prepared for some up charges. If you are ordering a boba drink with less ice, there's a $0.50 charge for that. In addition, to that- if you pay by credit/debit card- you are responsible for the 4% surcharge, unless you pay by cash. Will not be returning, unfortunately. read more

We tried Zabb on a whim while craving Thai food. Normally we hit up a different Thai spot in NWOKC, but decided to give Zabb a run. Guys - it was great! And fast! And friendly! And online ordering! Unfortunately Zabb Thai has gone downhill throughout 2025. Food is still tasty, but the portion sizes are about half what they were a year ago. We were regulars for lunch. Didn't get egg rolls last two times, but once we asked and the egg rolls were teeny tiny. Such a disappointment. Love that there's a closer Thai place than what I'm used to in the area. We've been to Thailand, and our go to typically is Panang. Decided to try ZABB after finding them on Yelp in the area. The restaurant is cute and small. The hostess at the front was very sweet. We ordered the chicken panang curry, chicken pad Thai and the spicy chicken fried rice. The panang curry was good. Ordered a 4 out of 5 for spicy and it was spot on. Very creamy, but a little bit of a smaller portion than what I'm used to from Panang. The chicken pad Thai was a little dry to be honest - wasn't the best, but it was still fine. The item we liked the most was the spicy chicken fried rice. It had good flavor and was what we expected. Overall, the food was good, just wasn't as good as we've had consistently at Panang but overall, still good for being super close to home for some quick Thai food. read more

Wow! Can't believe it took us so long to eat here. We got take out instead of eating in just to try it, and it's now one of our favs in the neighborhood. Wasn't sure what to expect, but looking at the menu pics online we decided it was yummy! The Hat Yai Fried Chicken might be the best fried chicken I've eaten (except for Mom's.) Crunchiest, tasty breading and the chicken was moist and flavorful. Did not get soggy on the way home even! Came with Papaya Salad and Rice - plenty of food for the price! Papaya Salad was perfect and crunchy, and the sauce made it perfect. Did I say they have Brown Rice!!!??? Wonton Soup was hot and flavorful, with plenty of wontons and noodles. And the price was right! The container of Pineapple Rice was about 5 lbs, and full of chicken, shrimp and cashews. My husband said it's only weakness was it could have used MORE pineapple, but at least they were big, fresh chunks. I ordered online - quick and painless. The service was outstanding from the time I walked in for the couple of minutes I was there. They were friendly, helpful and happy and made sure I had everything I needed. And did I say the remodel from the previous restaurant was beautiful? It's now bright and light and looks more spacious. Even has a bar. Go there!! I can't wait to try some of my standards of Tom Kha and Pad Thai, along with the curries. But their menu is so extensive, I might have to try everything else first! Parking here was difficult during busy hours of the day. It shares the same building as a gas station and there was no dedicated parking lot for the restaurant. I came here for lunch and you'll have to park on the side. Avoid the barrage of cars through the lot that are coming for the gas. The fish and entree was subpar. I can tell the rice was old by the way it felt clumpy in my mouth. The fish and entree was nothing to write home about, sadly. My pad Thai didn't have that impact of flavor and the fish was just... fish. It didn't taste especially fresh or anything. The best part of my meal was the miso soup. read more

I loooove how huge their menu is. I haven't had currypuffs since I moved to the US, so I was really excited to see it here! Having lived in South East Asia for pretty much all my life and being part Thai, my expectations were high the second I saw the currypuffs. Good news is the currypuff shell is absolutely perfect. While the shell was great, I do think it is slightly on the sweeter side, which it isn't usually. Currypuffs are usually more savory and have a more distinct curry flavor to it. But still, this is a must try for me! They also forgot the cucumber relish for us on this order, sadly. I ordered the kao soi noodles - which imo, is not complete without the crispy noodles, and they forgot to put it for my order! Was a little sad about that. The curry broth itself was a little on the sweeter side for my liking, but it was very flavorful and perfect for a snow day. Got the salmon teriyaki combo as well, and I think it overall, could've been done better. Salmon was a little dry but the sushi and sashimi were great. I really wanted to love this place more given it's two of my favorite cuisines all in one store, but I'm afraid they are a solid 3.5 for me for right now. Perhaps I didn't try the right things?
