Please note there is a 15~ minute wait for these, which we did not mind and it is explained on the menu. It was worth the wait and we enjoyed every bite. The pork scallion dumpling was our favorite of all and we will order a plate of these next time! Definitely try the dipping sauce and the chili oil if you like a little heat! At first, the service was nice and happy. But as our meal went along, things got worse, and nobody really did anything about it. My girlfriend's meal came out cold. The marinated pork belly tasted old and was cold, her broccoli was cold. We had to send it back. They warmed it up, but it still did not taste right at all. My Thai tea did not taste good either. We told them that we weren't happy with the food and they still charged us for it. In the end, I should've said that I wasn't paying for it because we could not eat it. It was not good at all. When we walked in the grouch-looking runner at the kitchen window arrogantly just kept pointing for us to sit down at a specific booth. Not sure why since we came in for an early dinner the restaurant was still pretty empty. Subsequent patrons could sit wherever they chose. But otherwise, the rest of the staff is friendly and helpful. The Cucumber Salad was bitter! The Combo Xiao Long Bao was okay. They made the filling into a dense ball so it wasn't as tasty. Same thing with the Colorful Combo Dumpling Panfried. But the Pork Scallion and Hot Sour Soup were delicious! Feels like there's at least 1 or maybe 2 chefs in that kitchen who know what they're doing. But whoever else is helping doesn't know what they're doing. Horrible experience. Manager let a group of people go table to table soliciting donations with boxes of Reese's candy (no charity label or information to provide). We were having a conversation and interrupted mid sentence at our booth. When I talked to the manager, he said "this is private property and we will let anyone solicit here that we want." Suitable for all ages. Our waitress was nice and she took the time to explain the menu as it was our first time. We both got dumplings combo . This includes beef, chicken, pork, and veggie dumplings. I got mine pan seasoned and my friend got her steamed. There was also an order of wontons and we got the kids sweet and sour chicken with noodles. The noodles are very thick. And didn't have any flavor or sauce on the when they came out. The chicken was nicely fried and sized pieces. The sweet and sour sauce was fine. After putting lots of soy sauce and a little chili oil on the noodles they tasted better. They are just so dang thick. The dumplings were good. Pork and veggie were the best. Chicken came in third and beef was just nasty. Don't be taken back by the crust on the pan seared one because it's just on the outside. You can pick it off and the dumplings are just fine. Our waitress was sweet but she was a little inattentive. I would definitely go back and try one of the other meals. When they were brought to other tables they looked and smell delicious. What brought our group of seven of us to this location was we were in the area visiting family, and the first place that locals thought to introduce us to was this newest location of Noodles and Dumplings. And why not if the food is a authentically made and affordably priced as it is here? Upon entry to this location of Noodles and Dumplings visitors will notice how little has changed from what once existed as a fast casual hamburger joint. Now with a freshly painted all white interior, the open kitchen takes central stage, as those who are dining in, are now able to find a table whether it's a booth or large square table that their party can enjoy and peruse the menu. The menu at this location of Noodles and Dumplings is separated into categories including Shareables, Dumplings, Baos, Noodle Plates, Noodle Soups, Kids Menu, Entrées, Plates with Rice or Noodles, Soups, Desserts and Drinks. Obviously, there is a lot to choose from but since members of our dining group were new to the concept of Noodles and Dumplings we decided to go full board with ordering as much as possible. We started with their six piece Xiao Long Bao with the option to be filled with pork and two orders of their Colorful Combo Dumplings, also filled with pork and with the option of them to be pan fried. From their Baos section of their menu, we ordered their BBQ Bao which were four steamed baos stuffed with BBQ pork. For our entrées, we decided to share multiple dishes including their Combo Fried Rice which came with chicken, beef and shrimp; their Orange Sauce Chicken with our option of their hand-pulled noodles for an extra fee, their Sesame Chicken served a la carte; and their Peking Pork Chop Pork, which were smaller size deep fried pork chop pieces served with Peking sauce and sliced onions, served with the option of their hand-pulled noodles for an additional cost. Their Dumplings really are something special at Noodles and Dumplings, as they are anything as good as the quality soup dumplings made from my own region in the San Francisco Bay Area. As their name suggests, the hand-pulled noodles are quite tasty as well, as they serve as an addendum but not overshadow the amount of protein that you are served in every entrée. Obviously, we enjoyed a lot of deep-fried proteins with orange, sesame, and "Peking" sauce serving as the barometer in difference. Our total bill for our dinner at Noodles and Dumplings was around 125 dollars, but it should be noted that we received a lot of food, so much so that we took home three massive styrofoam containers home for additional meals over the course of many days later. Noodles and Dumplings serves up authentic Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine in hearty portions that won't break the bank. The restaurant has a crowded feel - you walk through the tables to the host stand to give your phone number and be told to wait in your car for a table. The restaurant was pretty busy and a little loud. Service was a little slow. Our server was super sweet, but not really on top of things. I've been wanting to stop here since it opened and finally had the opportunity. I was seated quickly and the wait staff took my order for jasmine tea almost immediately. They've re-done the former Johnnie's, and it's clean and bright. I did find the booth I sat in wasn't nailed down as it tried to go with me when I got up to leave. I had intended to try the soup dumplings, but the waitress suggested it might not be sufficient as a meal. I instead ordered the pork belly noodle soup after reading an earlier review. This was my first time trying pork belly soup, and I'll probably not get it again. Don't get me wrong: it wasn't bad, but there are much better noodle soups to be had. I just noticed a lack of flavor. I had to add a few spoons of chili oil to help the broth. I think the noodles are made in-house, but they didn't have much flavor until they had soaked in the broth for a bit. On a positive note, they give you plenty of pork belly. Oh, the jasmine tea was great. I've ordered lots of jasmine tea, and this was noticeably better than the others. I will definitely be back. I've had friends tell me they loved the dishes here, so I want to try more, especially the soup dumplings. read more

That tea is pretty good. The boba doesn't taste like other boba places. I can't quit put my finger in the texture difference. I got the pork black mushroom noodles and they are probably the best noodles I've ever had. They are chewy and when you look at the noodles, you can tell they are hand made by the variations in the size. When you look back in the kitchen you can see someone pulling the noodles out very long and it s cool site to see. I love that they have the kitchen open, so you can watch what they do. The only thing that would make that mushroom pork noodle dish better is to have the cucumber in thicker pieces so there's a little crunch or freshness. The thinly sliced cucumbers turn too soft too quickly. Other than that it was the perfect dish. I tried my boyfriend's dish and it had a spicy kick to it and he really liked his dish. The place was packed but we managed to get in without a wait, a blessing for a weekend.    The Lanzhou Noodles soup was so good. The broth looks light, but it is flavorful and aromatic from the warm spices. The beef was tender, but it would've been nice if they had included more meat in the soup. The noodles were thick in a good way but still had a good texture.    The mushroom pork noodle was excellent. The pork and mushroom sauce was savory, just slightly more salty than we would've liked. But I'm still probably going to get that next time. My significant other and I decided to try this place yesterday for an afternoon snack after the gym. We go to Life Time so, it's practically next door. The service was very friendly. Our drink order and food orders went in and came out within a reasonable time even though our server told us it would take a little longer for the dumplings. I thought our food still came out fairly quick. I had the steamed chicken dumplings, cucumber salad, and shared the colorful dumplings. My favorite was the vegetable dumplings, because it had a thinner shell. The chicken dumpling shell was too thick, but still tasted good since it wasn't stale. However, it still was a weird texture. I give this place 5 stars for what it is. It's more of a fast food sit down Chinese restaurant. I can't give a rating on their actual Chinese food since I have an MSG allergy, and don't like most Chinese dishes besides just the dumplings. Would I come back? Absolutely! We came here on Christmas night and they are open (thank god)! We had the Lanzhou noodle soup with beef, beef roll and the tonkatsu ramen. The Lanzhou noodle soup and the beef rolls are authentic Chinese flavors. The noodles are truly made by hand for each order. The tonkatsu ramen is a mix of the Japanese miso soup and the Chinese noodles, so I personally don't think it's a good combination. Which of course, I love - but tip here is to just do everything family style since they're such big portions! Place always seems to be packed and for good reason too.
