This was before MDVIP After about a year I was feeling the best I had in over 20 years he did have a lot to fix lol. When he retired his son took over our care. He is also just as equal to the SR. And I have no complaints. I feel he listens, explains and is compassionate. I do not feel the staff is rude as stated in another review. I feel with so many sick callers sometimes they are very busy. They do take time when it is your turn to talk to them. We as patients need to have patients with them as well. I pay for the extra care because I feel I get extra care plan and simple. Health is everything. With MDVIP or without at this office it has always been above average care.

This "guy" was in the room for less than a minute. He came in over 30 minutes late, mumbling a couple of things I couldn't hear (tinnitus and hearing loss) as he closed the door. My autistic daughter said, "my dad is laying on his stomach to ease his chronic pain." He interrupted her, and told her to "shut the f*** up, this is my clinic." Astonished, I looked up and asked, "Did you just tell my autistic daughter to shut the f*** up?" He actually said this. I was taken aback by this language and treatment of my daughter. He said, "this is private property, I don't have to listen to this, you have 30 seconds to leave before I call the cops." Then he stormed out of the room! He never asked a single question about my pain. In fact, he actually ridiculed my chronic pain saying, "people here are dying, your pain isn't that bad." And he did call 911 on this 60yr old disabled Air Force Vet. On my way out I stopped in the hallway and stared at him in the cubicle bullpen. He repeated his threat. I called him an a** whole with no empathy. He called 911. Once he established his name and address, he escalated the situation by advancing toward me in an aggressive manner from almost 20 feet away! I took a half step to rebalance. That's when he leaned into my face, and quietly said, "c'mon, hit me!" This is on the 911 call he placed that the Waterford cops won't let me have. I shouted out for all to hear me say, "hit you?! How f****** stupid do you think I am?" And with that, I walked back into the lobby, slamming the door behind me after being insulted and threatened. He threw the door open and physically advanced on me again in the waiting room. Like I said, this alpha was angry and itching for a hands-on confrontation. Otherwise, he wouldn't have quietly goaded me with, "cmon, hit me," in a hushed tone, would he? I should add that I am 4 inches shorter than this male. He is bigger than me, and in much better shape than my broken body. He used his physical advantages against me in a highly aggressive manner. He physically chased my autistic 25 year old daughter and myself out the clinic doors and across the parking lot! His treatment of patients who rate him a 1 star service to should be investigated for patterns of reverse discrimination. The way he looked at me in the treatment room was downright scary. There are serious Anger Problems here. The way he treated my autistic daughter was inexcusable. His remarks and hostility towards me was his way of telling me to drop dead. No hyperbole here. I'm a 60yr old disabled Air Force Vet. I've lived in chronic pain for decades. I can read body language AND between the lines of these people. That's my experience and only visit I make to this place.

Then, she insisted I hand her my phone (?), I said no, she became even more agitated, raising her voice at me, while I stood there astounded. Told her I didn't want her handling my phone, asked if there was some other way I could please her, she again demanded the phone saying she "needs" to show me "how to get around that part". I explained that with COVID concerns and all, I still was not going to let her handle my phone, and besides I did the online check-in on my computer at home NOT my phone, I don't use my phone that way. She then said that she "never asked" for my phone, with my wife and I both shaking our heads in disbelief. Since we were apparently at some kind of impasse, i told her I was going to leave and re-schedule some other time. She ran over to some nurse (I heard her complaining about me), then the nurse opened the door and asked me to come back. However, THEN she blocked my wife from entering, and when I said I wanted her to come back, she said no, only me. Well at that point I said I won't do it without my wife, so we had to leave ultimately. I should point out that my wife is my caretaker, helping me through this knee replacement, recent diagnosis of untreatable liver failure, and lapses of memory, along with serious bouts of depression. I do not talk to my doctors without her present, and this has never been a problem until today. I will also point out that we are both fully vaccinated, masked, and always respectful of the reasonable precautions necessary in some circumstances - this follow up visit was not one of them. I was a medical provider for just over 40 years before I had to retire for health reasons, and I never, ever remember anyone being treated so poorly as I was today, in this DMC office, by DMC staff. As I love my doctor, I am extremely disappointed to now being forced to consider a change; not to mention I have not received the follow-up exam and care that I need after such major surgery. Worst. Experience. Ever.

I was treated here by Dr. Dyball for a compound fracture to my right foot for a period of about six…read moremonths after sustaining a bad fall , resulting in the compound fracture and three broken toes. While Dr. Dyball was a good orthopedic surgeon, I wish my foot had healed a little better. I still have some residual problems with it and the ankle bone area is still considerably weaker than my left foot. Considering that most of the ligaments/tendons connecting the bones together were torn, I feel that more physical therapy or surgery was probably needed to strengthen the foot. It's still highly prone to injury and likely always will be. Nonetheless, the doctors, nurses and physical therapists were all cheerful and professional and the center is very well-run. I just think that follow-up care for the injury could have been a bit more well-rounded considering the extensive damage caused by the fracture.

I said ok, lets do this because you are my last hope. almost 2 years later my legs are back to normal, Lymphedema is under controlled. After 6 years trying to get knee replacements (bone on bone and in a wheelchair because I can't walk the knees are so bad) I have had 7 procedures and with each procedure things got better. The left leg was a struggle and just didn't want to go as good as the right, but we never gave up. Last procedure was done on Dec. 11th, 2025 and my left leg is back to normal now. Lymphedema will never go away but you can control it. I tried everything before I went to Integrated Vascular, Physical therapy, massages, compression boots, exercises, you name it and I got no relief. I can't thank the doctor and staff for all they have done for me. They have changed my life.

They could not have been any more professional but also had a great sense of humor which helps to alleviate some of the apprehension a patient might have. They explained every step of the procedure and made sure I was comfortable and informed during the entire procedure. I don't know that you could get any better treatment from anyone or anywhere. Some patients may mistake Dr. Shuster's attitude as harsh (it isn't)but it is just that he is more concerned with your treatment and end results than he is winning any personality prizes. If you treat him with respect he will treat YOU with respect! IT's as simple as that! During my appointment, they insisted I needed an MRI and scheduled it for me. They scheduled it for 6/3 on my behalf. Later in the day on 6/2, the MRI office called and said they have an earlier appointment and I accepted. Later in that same day on 6/2, MRI office called and said I do not have active insurance. I then called Lederman office and was told they verified I have active insurance. MRI was completed at the 3rd party and was then informed I need to pay $400+ because my insurance is no longer active. Lederman then charged me $765 and claimed it is on me to know I do not have active insurance. EVEN THOUGH THEY VERIFIED IT BEFORE SCHEDULING ME, CONFIMED I HAD ACTIVE PRIOR TO THE MRI, SCHEDULED THE MRI FOR ME, AND CONTINUED TO SAY INSURANCE WAS CONFIRMED TO BE ACTIVE EVEN AFTER I INFORMED THEM THE MRI OFFICE IS STATING INSURANCE IS NOT ACTIVE. I informed the doctor office I also use Medicaid, but they do not accept it. They then reduced the bill from $765 to $215 only after being super rude, disrespectful, and having the most condescending tone I have heard in a long time. Just awful to work with and they didn't care about my side of the story at all. The doctor was solid but because of Laurie and Rochelle being some of the most arrogant and disrespectful individuals I have ever had the displeasure of encountering, I would stay far away from this place and utilize any other doctor in your network. Rochelle is also a supervisor (somehow) and was the worst of them all. Just a nightmare to work with and truly wish I would have never visited them to begin with.

That being said, Dr. Nick Stepanski is a very intelligent, kind like his father, "green", young provider learning to fill big shoes. I've been a patient of theirs for 30 years. Times have changed, communication is through a portal, which I love because the staff is really good at responding quickly. I absolutely love the staff. They are always pleasant over the phone, stopping in for a nurse visit, and through the portal.
