The food was stellar! They did themed menu for Super Bowl Sunday, the Philly was AMAZING! Their Chef, Luke, is a true master. Lots of TVs to watch the game. Plenty of seating, and the bartender, Jax, was on point! Feels like a neighborhood hangout with a very chill vibe. 10/10 will be back!

Looks open until you walk up and they tell you they're closed lol

Pulled up at 1 AM to grab a beer when me and La Chica were greeted, and I use this word liberally, by a gentleman at the door who said, "We just did last call, sorry." He shut the door in our faces and turned off the 'open' sign. LOL We drove down the street and gave two other bars our money. I had never been to Zachary's before, and I won't be returning.

Super unfriendly staff. Bartender couldn't pour a draft beer. Definitely a spot for old regulars that don't want new people to join.

Came for a Friday lunch. I'm a big fan of Irish pubs, and was really happy I found this spot. For a…read morefirst visit, I opted for the fish and chips and a Magners cider. The plate is a really nice portion, with two pieces of fish. I've gotten used to seasoned fried fish, so for me it was a little bland on its own. However, the firm flakes of the fish really show how fresh it is, and I loved that. The tartar sauce is creamy with a delightful lemon taste to it. The fries were crispy, hot, and very well seasoned. The highlight, surprisingly, was the coleslaw. The seasoning and the flavor were absolutely delicious. It brings a mellow flavor to the dish -- not tart, just soft and mild, the kind of thing that cuts right through the richness of the fried food and balances the plate. Happy hour starting at 11am on weekdays is a great deal. During my visit, the place wasn't busy, and sitting at the bar just felt very chill and relaxing. The playlist fit the vibe very well, too! I appreciated Evan, the bartender, checking in several times during my lunch. I read through the menu, and based on my experience with the fish and chips, I'm really excited to come back and try many more dishes.

The menus were kind of old and a little soiled so if the food is good here I will never know because I wouldn't touch the menus. Sat at the bar and asked for the name of a beer they had on tap. She gave me a generic answer and it turns out she was right. It was just called Channelside IPA. Still the interaction wasn't very pleasant and in fact was a little awkward. Definitely didn't feel welcome. Also didn't help that I am naturally a smart Alec. All I know is we definitely didn't click. I settled in on a Smithwicks Red Ale. Finished my beer and promptly left. The experience was Meh. The beer was good though.

The veal was incredibly tender, and the gravy was packed with flavor. It was a satisfying entrée that came with two sides. For my sides, I chose the pierogies and spätzle. The pierogies were honestly my favorite part of the meal. They were fluffy, cheesy, and generously filled. So delicious. I could have eaten a whole plate of just those. The spätzle was soft and well prepared, but compared to everything else, I found it a little boring. The restaurant itself is very cute and has a lot of character. I loved browsing the selection of German snacks, candy, and other imported items available for purchase. It added to the overall experience and made the place feel unique. While I'm not that familiar with German food, I thought this was a pretty good restaurant. Overall, I found German cuisine a little more muted than what I'm personally used to, but I still really enjoyed the meal and the experience. I'd be interested in trying more of the menu.

I had such high hopes for this place. :( The selection is very limited and perhaps I missed something (entirely possible), but I did not see a price list for the deli case. We did find a unique assortment of other German products- some we haven't seen in many years. The restaurant portion was quite busy and the customers looked happy. We were flooded with nostalgia and left in hopes of dining in on a less-busy day. I ordered two meats, including the German bologna. During the drive home, my family and I noticed a terrible odor-- the kind where we started pointing fingers at one another. We never suspected that the package from the deli was the source. When we opened it at home, a nauseatingly funky, ammonia-type smell came from the German bologna. While the liverwurst smelled okay, I could not trust it after the bologna and decided against keeping it. Wasted time and money. Dang! The staff is super nice and that was truly a plus. However, I doubt we will be back. My family is very bummed over this.

I assumed there was some tension between them but who knows.... The lady finally walks over with an attitude and asked us what we wanted to drink. I have 2 eyes that work perfectly fine to read all of the beer options you have to offer..... I asked for a menu. What if I wanted a soda, or water, or food.... I simply asked for a menu and somehow that inconvenienced her. If you can't work in the customer service field then find another career. Please stop projecting your personal issues on to customers!

There are plenty of televisions viewable from any seat. The seating is mostly bar top or high top. The beer list is clearly visible on chalkboards hanging behind the bar. There are 30 beers on tap so there is plenty to choose from. The menu focuses mostly on sandwiches. There is an entire section dedicated to grilled cheese sandwiches all served on sourdough. I ordered the Tampa Cuban grilled cheese and it was fantastic. The sandwiches are served with a side of kettle chips. I was happy with the variety of beer and the quality of the food. The only negative is that prices are a little high... but it's expected due to the location.

Each room is different making for a unique experience in each section. As an appetizer we got the sausage roll- now hubby didn't like but he's not a big fan of mustard or sausages lol, but me on the other hand I loved it! The puff pastry was so tasty and the mustard was oh so tasty. As my main I got the crispy shrimp and really enjoyed it! I wanted to keep things light for my weight watchers . Hubs got the classic fish and chips. He thought it was pretty good- personally I thought it was quite plain but the chips were really good! Lastly, we ended with the sticky toffee pudding as our dessert. It was a whole lot less sweet than I thought it'd be. Hubs was too full to indulge with me but wasn't crazy about the texture , I on the other hand enjoyed it but wouldn't get it again. Overall I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend. Our server was kind and quick which I always appreciate. I will be coming back
