    Grilled Pastrami and Swiss

Thrilled to find true, quality deli food here and n Metro West! Came in once for the matzoh ball soup to go -- delicious though I was surprised that there were only two smallish balls in the two-person serving. That was a Saturday morning, and it was mobbed, and I knew I had to return on a weekday. Came back on a Thursday lunch, was able to get a table for 3 right away. And here was just what I'd been hoping for. My grilled pastrami with Swiss was perfect. Excellent proportions of meat, cheese, and mustard with just enough butter in the grilled outside to require a napkin but not a mess. Large crisp pickle, delicious creamy potato salad. Bottomless unsweetened iced tea. My companions had the Reuben and the potato latkes and loved them. Service was very nice. Food a little slow to appear but we had our beverages. I liked the nods to the traditional deli decor even though we were in a suburban mall atmosphere. Can't wait to come back for more.

Breakfast was yummy!!! Got the Zaftigs Combo, eggs with corned beef hash, eggs with country ham, and a side blueberry pancakes.

It seems like a cozy family friendly diner. We tried the potato pancake, knishes, corned beef hash, challah french toast, matza brei, eggs empire, and coffee. It was a lot for two of us! The wait staff is very friendly. Cozy location! They will refill your coffees. I would recommend to try this diner and return. There is plenty of parking.

Stopped in during holidays Ordered matzo ball chicken soup as best around in my book. Added extra ball Monte Cristo sandwich was good. Pickle always good, potato salad done if best around . My issues was service... Waitress seemed preoccupied talking loudly or deafening yelling across counter in front of me... Wasn't an ambiance filled lunch... She didn't give me silverware set up until asked, Then Monte Cristo comes with cranberry side vs maple syrup? Had to wait til she got done talking with other waitress about issue of employees touching personal property and management issues?? Then adjective for maple syrup Then image usage cellphone in front of me talking to family member of what to pick up and arguing over what donut flavors? WTF at this point... I'll write off as bad day or pre holiday preparations for the holiday function the next day I heard... the kitchen guy was told to put aside some memosas for the waitress as she was going stop back in for the party . I can't argue about food Service I can ignore ad was amusing to see ; hope other patrons less tolerant than I will endure. Charging 2 bucks for what was a nice past treat of stale bagel chips ... petty and should go back to free as minimal if any cost to slice up stale bagels rather than dumping ... wad's competition differential and help appease customers to munch on for slow service during busy times

    Not busy but full !

I can't hear on a random Saturday afternoon when we decided we didn't want sushi. Haven't been here in quite a while. It hasn't changed. And that's a good thing. The paragraph Happys coffee was nice and hot, I water bath class, constantly field as needed. We got knishes. One meat one potato. Flavorful and wonderful, I'll be at a little on the small side for me. But very light and not. We both ordered Reuben sandwiches. I got mine with coleslaw. He got his with fries. Again, super flavorful just the right size and I don't even know how to explain that they didn't taste heavy? Even the coleslaw was light and airy. The waitress gave us a little surprise bit of potato salad, cause hubby had mentioned he liked it, but didn't order it. Her name is Julie . She's a true gem for the company. We will definitely be back as soon as we can.

The weather here was awful so I decided to order using Uber eats. I ordered a cold Corned Beef Sandwich on Dark Rye with Chips. It comes with a half sour pickle. I also ordered their herbed cream cheese with bagel chips. The food was delivered in record time and the driver was great. The food was packaged properly. I've also eaten at the restaurant many, many times. There is small counter seating and then ample table seating like a cafeteria with some booths. I will say the tables are very close together. The food is delicious not overly big like some delis. I realize everything has gotten expensive but for $19.00, I was expecting more than 6oz. If you want anything on it like onion, cheese etc it's extra. The better surprise was the bagel chips with herbed cream cheese for $5.00 delish and a bargain! The menu is extensive with lots of Jewish offerings.

"When you noodle with a doodlin' song I like it so much,…read moreI'll doodle some more" (Peggy Lee) Were you stumped by the word "Kugel"? Kugel is a traditional Jewish noodle casserole. And that word makes perfect sense as the namesake of this wonderful little Framingham deli. Their menu is loaded with the ethnic delights you'll find in any NY Style Deli - Reuben and Rachel sandwiches, Hot Pastrami, Bagels and Lox, Whitefish Salad, Potato Latkes, Matzoh Ball Soup, Herring, Kishka, Challah French Toast, and yes........... Noodle Kugel. We had checked out their deep menu the day before and knew what we wanted - a Whitefish & Lox Platter ($25) with a choice of Bagel, a choice of cream cheese served with lettuce, onions and tomatoes, and cucumbers. We added an extra bagel for $1.75. Now, I have to tell you that we were incredulous when this huge platter of very reasonably priced platter of food was delivered to our table. I bet there was between a third and a half pound of lox, plenty of vegetable cream cheese, a ramekin of whitefish salad, and a garden of lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, thinly sliced purple onions, and cucumber slices. The bagels were pretty big and were everything you want in a bagel -nice and chewy/crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. We each had one half of our respective bagels with cream cheese, lox, and onions, and the other half with whitefish, lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes. One customer service caught my eye immediately -those big tomato slices had been carefully trimmed to take out the core. That drives me batshit crazy when a restaurant apathetically doesn't do that. Staying on the customer service theme, our server was very attentive, with plenty of checkbacks and coffee refills. We packed up our leftovers and finished them off the next day. So that fish yielded us four servings. I promise you this....... The next time we are looking for breakfast between Boston and Worcester... I know where we'll end up. We might even get some Kugel at Kugel!

Best find of the year! I am particular about my sandwiches but decided to take a risk. Boy am I…read moreglad I did! Everything about this place left me wanting more! Not because of the size of the servings either.
