4/5 - Decent pizza for the price. Crust was nicely seasoned and had an adequate structure to floppy ratio necessary for pizza. Amount of sauce was just right for this style so it wasn't too overpowering and it wasn't overly greasy or soggy. Staff were fairly nice and my order came out pretty quickly. In terms of pizza, this place is just average - nothing amazing or noteworthy, but a good place to come back to if you're hungry and just want fast, okay pizza.

Located conveniently close to Brandeis University, this place sells pretty decent food. It is family owned. They sell breakfasts, bagels, sandwiches, pizzas, and many more. My friend ordered the Tuna Sandwich and I ordered the Turkey Breast Club. He devoured the Tuna Sandwich so I'm guessing it was pretty good. My turkey breast club was just okay. I just liked the crispy bacon bits that was in the sandwich. Service was kind of slow just for a regular sandwich...

Delivery pizza via GrubHub arrived in about an 1 hour+ for a late weekday lunch (free delivery). Crust was basic, but not much flavor, crispy on the bottom (a bit of oil under one too), only modest oven spring. Plenty of cheese, but it wasn't at all gooey like mozzarella should be, and just sort of broke apart when I bit into it. Not sure if it was some sort of a blend or not. Toppings were fine.

    Ding Mawi Special Sandwich

Was getting a little fed up with the food on campus and decided to take a walk down the road. This deli did not disappoint. I got the Ding-Mawi and it was one of the best sammiches i've had. They were able to accommodate to my needs and give me gluten free bread. It came with a pickle and a side (I the got potato salad which was great). The staff is friendly and the menu is extensive. Definitely coming back to try more. Absolutely worth the visit, even in this frigidity.

Affordable deli done right. It won't blow you away but the sandwiches have been consistent in quality and the service is solid.

After pouring through reviews and local forums, people consistently mentioned D'Agostino's. I decided to give it a try. Everyone was right: It is a great sandwich! I ordered the small, traditional Italian sub. I ordered mine with easy oil/vinegar, tomatoes, hots, lettuce, and mayo. I'm not a fan of raw onions whatsoever. The sub arrived perfectly, fresh not soggy. The sub roll is super soft, yet somehow holds up to the vegetables and condiments! The bread is freshly baked and some of the best bread I've had from a sub spot! The sub was piled generously, yet sliced perfectly thin for a more "airy" bite. This is exactly how I like my sandwich. I am not a fan where it's like biting into a giant, thick slab of meat. Here, the meat is sliced thin and arranged in such a way that every bite is "airy". True sub fabs will know exactly what this means. The closest example to this is the chain, Jersey Mikes. The meats were sliced thin. Arranged perfectly on that pillow-soft sub roll. Veggies were great, fresh and crisp. Juicy tomatoes. Delicious hots that truly make the sandwich! This is our new go-to for subs in Waltham. Next time, I'll try to be more adventurous given they have a plethora of specialty subs. Sometimes, you just crave a solid, OG Original Italian Sub!

The store was clean and spacious. Plenty of good looking sausages and meats to bring home for cooking, but I came to grab some lunch. I got the prosciutto lovers and was happy with my choice. The bread was soft and a good texture. The sandwich had prosciutto, fresh mozz, basil leaves, tomatoes, and was seasoned with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil. Was it the most amazing sandwich I'd ever tasted? Nah, it was standard, but for less than $13 for a sandwich that was longer than my forearm, it was a fantastic deal. Service was speedy and the two folks who helped me out were friendly. There were two people in front of me, but I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Looking forward to trying their other sandwiches!

Yum across the board, but the prosciutto was exceptional. The prices, especially for the quality and quantity, are much better than a typical sub shop ($8.50 for a sandwich in this neighborhood is straight up cheap these days and I could only finish half because it was so big!). Easy parking at the end of the block. Will come back and back and back. Will try the tuna next.

So I get a large Chip's Tip sub and a few pastries for snacks. The bill was steep for what I got but I thought it would be worth it for my son to try the sub. After getting it, we split the sub and ate it in the car. Let me tell you that this was not the same steak tip I remembered. It was so bad, we tossed it in the garbage at the gas station next door. The steak was very tough and hard to chew - almost like the tips had been cooked earlier and then reheated for my order. Everything just seemed greasy. We also did not enjoy the raspberry turnover or yellow cream cannoli's we got for dessert. Maybe it was us or maybe it was the food but I will never go there again. We are not food snobs by any stretch of the imagination, and I rarely will say anything bad about a restaurant experience but we ended up going to Augusta's which is just a little bit down the road, for chicken just to erase this experience from our mouths. I know a lot of people will swear by their steak tip subs and that is great but it's just not for me anymore.
