My partner and I have been here many times to get our phone screens repaired. Today, the sales associate said she could fix my phone and took it. It was working before, but stopped working after she took it for over 5 hours. This has never happened before at this or any other repair store. I asked her what could be done, and she just said, it's broken now, I could not fix the screen or get it to turn on. She had never mentioned this as a risk when taking my phone. I have come here 2 or 3 times to get my screen protector replaced, and I have no issues. I usually see the same employee (I think she always happens to be the one manning the store alone and unafraid when I come in), and she's quick and does a great job. Saffa-Khan is who I have seen, and she's great. Unless there are other folks in the store she is already helping, I'm usually in and out within 5 minutes. HORRIBLE! My iPhone screen was cracked but still working. I decided to get it fix after 3 months so I bought it to Zagg at downtown crown. They quickly repaired it with a cheap screen. It had a hard contrast and blueish hue. I asked repair tech why my screen looked different compared to my old screen he said "you should adjust your screen settings." It didn't fix the color issue but I didn't care much. The problem came a month later when the screen started flickering on and off. I took it back for them to repair. The tech said the issue was with my iPhone hardware and not the screen. I didn't agree but decided to call Apple support. They walked me through some repair steps and it seemed to fix my phone. Two weeks later the issue returned worse than before. I finally decided to take it to an iPhone store for them to diagnosis and repair. They found the issue was with the screen. I paid $150 for a screen replacement and a month later my phone is working perfect. The color is exactly how it should be, vibrant and clear. Don't waste the $80 some odd dollars for a cheap replacement like me from Zagg. Go to an Apple store or some other reputable business! read more

On April 25 2018, my wife went here and replaced my cracked screen and bought a screen protector and they charged $180, I went back today to buy another one for my wife and to have them FIX Mine, since it bubbled, they wanted to charge me $10 dollars, I don't understand why I have to pay for a professionals mistake. I used to love this location and have spent thousands of dollars for screen protectors, cables and other accessories for 6 Apple devices. I called this morning because I had been holding onto 2 broken charging cables for over one month (the end that plugs into the Apple devices broke off within the first week) and waiting for new cables to be available for me to exchange them. The young man at the store was grumpy but I let it go and went into the store to explain again. I told him, "I'm sorry you're having a bad morning". But, seriously, it was worst experience ever. He grudgingly gave me working cables. Now what should I do about the other 2 at home that are also not working? Beg for a replacement? Store needs a new manager. Update 1.17.2017 One of the new cables broke within 10 days. I think it's because it's too heavy and pulled. I called the store and Vincent asked me if I had small children. I doubt that's a question he should be asking me. Only I have used the cable for my iPhone. It's highly unlikely I would (or anyone) would intentionally break cables to make a trip to the store for a replacement. No one has that much time on their hands. Vincent should not be in any position that requires customer contact. None. He's rude. I want to return the cable but not if he's in the store. He's just belligerent enough to scare me. read more

The guy at the desk had a hoodie (I know it is cold but really) on and told me the Montgomery Mall had several yesterday. Come on if you only have one left let me know when I call instead of wasting my time. It takes one minute to check witch is a whole lot better than lousy review on yelp. I went to ubreakifix and in and out in 35 minutes they even reserved the battery for me without me asking. Zagg has a Nice looking Store, good displays. The employees are very friendly - however, when i brought my phone in for the screen to be replaced, I ended up with a fixed screen and now broken phone. I have called and contacted many people many times regarding the matter. At first, I just wanted my phone fixed, and now i want my phone fixed and a full refund as it has been over a week now with no results of any kind. Each time they assure me they will contact me to let me know when it will be fixed or when the part is in, but each time I never hear from them unless I call. Just went to this store to replace two covers on phones that have always had ZAGG covers. On one phone, the first installation of the replacement was unacceptable. When replacing it, Syed at the store scratched the phone. He refused to own this, would not give the name or contact info of the owner, and he actually called security. He had our credit card and when I told him I couldn't pay for this after he damaged the phone, he charged it anyway. We've been to the store a few times and this was a totally different experience. But they scratched a $1,000 phone. They were totally crazy, took no ownership, and treated us like criminals. His biggest response was to call Zagg.com customer service to complain about him (they are closed, of course, until Monday). This must work as some sort of difference as he seemed so adept at quickly saying this, but I will contact Zagg, and we also contacted the Montgomery County Police after the incident to complain as well. read more

I called to see if they could help me with my non-functioning iPhone charging port. I was told yes, went in & the first guy said no, he couldn't help. I pointed out I'd just called & was told they could. He then said the other guy would look at it. The other man looked, said that a faulty charger had ruined the port, bent metal pieces in the wrong direction & that maybe it could be repaired by another local repair place & provided me the name & contact info. Thinking my phone was probably ruined I spent the rest of the day shopping online for a new phone. This morning got up, called the shop to which I'd been referred- no answer, LVM. Drove there on the chance they were open-nope. Decided I'd try another local repair shop - Fix My Phone, 550 N Frederick Ave. It took less than 1 minute for the worker to look & extract a piece of metal from the faulty charger, give it a blast of compressed air and it was fully functional again' and at no charge! This place and products are an absolute joke. I purchased the ZAGG InvisbleShield Glass for my iPhone 6 at my local verizon store on July 23, 2015 and less than two weeks later it cracked (for no apparent reason). I was told that there was a lifetime warranty on the screen protector so it really wasn't a big deal to me at the time to get it fixed. On August 20th, I went into this ZAGG store to get a replacement and was told that I had to pay $7 to get it repaired, which defeats the purpose of telling people you only need to purchase it once because it has a life time warranty. Again, I was extremely annoyed but bought it anyways. One day later my screen protector is already cracked, so I go into the ZAGG store AGAIN on August 21st to have it replaced, and the gentleman who helped me assured me that it wasn't going to break again. Guess what I noticed today? A HUGE crack in my screen protector!!! I'm so upset with this product and the fact that it keeps cracking, especially for the price I paid to purchase it and to have it replaced. I've never had to replace my screen protector 3 times in less than a month in the past but this product is completely useless. read more

I went there to get my iPad 3 fixed. The screen was broke and it was pretty badly damaged. I come to pick it up 5 hours later and the iPad is done and güd as new. When I go back home to use the iPad the home button stops working. I go back to zagg and they fix it. When I come back home the home button works and everything is fine. A couple weeks later the iPad cracks randomly and I go back to zagg to fix it. They say that cracked iPads aren't in their warranty. They explain that there is pretty much nothing covered in the warranty. Overall, don't go to zagg they rip you off and don't have a güd warranty. If your thinking about going here I STRONGLY recommend you go somewhere else. read more
