Delicious Indian cuisine in comfortable environment. Service is attentive and the dishes are well prepared. When you go, ample parking in the mall and full bar.

The server was attentive. We had a delicious meal in a comfortable environment. The decor is colorful and the light fixtures are beautiful. We started with the samosas and tamarind chutney. They gave us papadum as something to snack on while we waited on the meal. I was a little chilly and started with the hot masala chai - it was a creamy and had the wonderful flavors of ginger, cloves and other tea spices. My husband loved the rich and creamy mango chicken curry. The naan and paratha were perfect to scoop up the sauce. The goat was fall off the bone tender. The spicier masala sauce was just what I was looking for. Paired with the raita, it was a wonderful balance of cool and creamy with the flavors of onion, ginger, and tomato. We loved the desserts and ended up eating them before taking photos. The mango kulfi was cold, smooth and sweet - similar to a spiced mango gelato. The gulab jamun were wonderful balls of decadence. It's like a donut coated in a super sweet and fresh, rose water flavored sauce. We will be looking forward to our next experience!

I went to Zaika Weston during Diwali (which marks the beginning of the new year in the Hindu calendar- and celebrates the year's last rice crop harvest). The food was amazing! I haven't had Indian food in a while and after going to Zaika I am hooked again! I ordered the vegetable Korma at the Indian spice level and it was extremely flavorful. I thought it would be a lot spicier but it was still delicious. The restaurant had beautiful paintings and the design was very nice. Our server was extremely kind and attentive. All I can think about is the flavor of my dish. I can't wait to go back!

Mutter Paneer

I knew I had to stop in at Zaika as soon as I saw they offered momos on their menu, and I'm happy to say they do not disappoint. This is a great stop for tasty Indian food in the Weston area. I've visited a few times now, and have enjoyed myself each time. The momos that got me in the door are fantastic - I love that they cook theirs tandoori-style to give them a little something different, and the ginger sauce they come with is perfect. Their naan always tastes fresh and is chewy without being tough. Particular favs off the entree list so far have been the chicken saag, dal makhani, lamb roganjosh, and the karahi paneer. Food comes out piping hot every time, and the prices are super reasonable. I've never done takeout, but it seems like they always have a ton of orders coming in for it. Whenever we go we have to order mild for my family, so I can't actually attest to their spice scale (mild isn't hot at all). They do offer an Indian Spicy level on the menu which seems promising though, and the food still has great flavor even without spice. Now - allergies. As someone with a nut allergy, South Asian food is always kind of risky. Whenever I've asked questions, they've always gone in the back and checked on things for me. It seems like they try to be careful which I really appreciate. However, I did have a bit of a strange experience where one time they said the mutter paneer was nut-free, and the next time they said it wasn't. I was fine so I'm assuming nut-free was true at least the first time, but.... Not sure if I can order this safely anymore, which is sad because it's really good.

So good! We had the butter chicken with rice and fresh naan--everything was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The service was warm and welcoming, and the restaurant had a cozy, elegant vibe. Can't wait to go back for more!

Malai Kofta and Chicken Tikka Masala

Came around 5 pm and was sat down right away. The waiters were quite attentive and quick. It was 3 of us and 2 of my kids. We ordered the chicken lollipop for the kids and the garlic naan and regular naan. The kids loved the naan but they weren't used to all the flavors in the chicken lollipops so they didn't like it. But the adults liked them. They're basically chicken thighs from the wing portion deboned and pushed down into the bottom to resemble a lollipop then fried. The chicken was full of flavor. It was served with a sauce but even without the sauce, they were good. For main we ordered the malai kofta, curry with snapper, and I think chicken shashi korma. It did take a while for the main dishes to come out. There were only about 4 tables but they looked like they had a lot of take out orders. Every dish was delish but the portion size is extremely small. Even my Indian coworkers mentioned how little food they serve. The fish curry cost $28 and it was served it in the same tin bowls. With maybe 4 pieces of 2 inch by 3 pieces of fish. That I didn't think was worth it. That's my only complaint. We weren't big eaters so it was fine. I also had their Marsala chai and that was tasty.

I've been on the hunt for a new Indian restaurant, so on Sunday I tried this place out. Upon coming in I found that it was a nice cute, cozy restaurant. when I was greeted, I told the young gentleman that I wanted to place a to order. He gave me a menu and told me if I want to have a seat that I could, he'll be right with me. I ended up ordering the butter chicken medium spice, and the tikka masala lamb chops, some garlic naan and fried cauliflower. While I waited, the young gentleman asked me if I wanted something to drink, which I thought was nice. Customer service was on point this day. So I tried the butter chicken, which I feel like I get medium spice at other places, but this one was like super spicy. So much that I couldn't taste anything, but that. I still enjoyed it though. I just wish I got more of the other flavors. The tikka masala, lamb chops I felt the texture was a little weird, so I didn't enjoy them very much. I thought the fried cauliflower was really good. I got that at the medium spice level, again I think mild would have been better. The garlic naan was super good as well. It had the perfect amount of garlic. I got to start coming to these places at lunch time because whewww they are expensive. At some point I may come back but I'm still on the hunt for the best.

Great Indian restaurant in Weston. Haven't had such a nice experience at an Indian restaurant in South Florida in a while. Food was freshly made and high quality. Service was great and efficient. I liked the interior design as it's very colorful and inviting. Overall a nice experience and would recommend for a nice Indian meal.

I was in the area and found another Indian restaurant that I have not been to. I tried my go to on a first visit, as it enables me to make comparisons. I ordered their lunch offering of chicken tikka masala. This came with a fresh naan bread, whereby you can choose a plain a garlic naan, or a roti. This also was accompanied with a freshly fried samosa. My friendly server asked how hot did I want the curry, and I said medium. Well WOW, it was very spicy, more like an American medium/hot. So take my advice go one level down in the heat department, as these guys offer Indian hot level NOT American hot level. The rice was pleasant, the curry was great. I also tried a mango lassi to counter the spice level, which helped. The prices were also very competitive for the area. The decor was fresh, modern and colourful. When in the area I well definitely visit again.

My best friend has been raving about this restaurant since I moved to Florida a few months ago. We…read morefinally made it! This charming and cozy restaurant serves up the most delicious and authentic North Indian and Punjabi dishes. The inside of the restaurant is thoughtfully decorated with colorful lamps and a Hindu inspired wall art. Upon entering the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed and ushered to our seats by Jovan, our waiter. All through our meal, he remained attentive and enthusiastic, joining in on conversations and making recommendations. He also dealt with the two little ones who were with us in such a kind manner. We ordered a few items on the menu such as butter chicken, karari bhindi, lamb and chicken vindaloo, shrimp tikka masala and aloo paratha. Everything was delicious with the perfect amount of heat (spice level). Desert consisted of kulfi, ras malai and of course my fav, the mango lassi. We left Mantra with lots of leftovers and happy tummies. Definitely worth checking out for all your favorite Indian cuisines!

Based on the high ratings, we decided to try this place for dinner yesterday. Our server was sweet,…read morebut his attitude threw us off when he immediately started telling us how amazing the food is and that we "don't have to worry about it." It came across as lacking humility, and unfortunately, the food did not live up to that confidence. We had eaten at Taj Indian Grill just the day before, and the difference in quality was noticeable. Here's what we ordered: - Aaloo Tikki: Far too tangy, and we couldn't taste the green chutney at all. - Kurkuri Bhindi: The only dish we truly loved--perfectly cooked and flavorful. - Dal Tadka: Just okay. The one we had the previous night at Taj Indian Grill was significantly better. - Paneer Masala: Lacked flavor and tasted like tomato purée mixed with cream. The same dish at Taj Indian Grill was outstanding. My cousin ordered a chicken dish. When the server asked our preference between thigh and breast meat, my cousin asked for thigh meat. However, we were served breast meat. The worst part, unfortunately, was the dessert. We ordered the Malai Kulfi, which was taken straight from the freezer and served without clearing our plates. The kulfi itself was extremely disappointing--one of the worst I've had. I'm from North India, and I've had great kulfi over the years, but this one was so dense it needed a knife to cut, with a powdery taste none of us liked. When we mentioned it to our server, instead of simply apologizing, he responded arrogantly, insisting their kulfi is featured on a show and is a "signature dish." A good restaurant knows how to accept feedback rather than try to prove customers wrong, and this interaction rubbed us the wrong way. Overall, I'd rather drive the extra five minutes to Taj Indian Grill, where the food and service were far better.

Apparently this has been there for over a year but I've never heard or seen this place despite being in the plaza several times in the year. I was looking for something different or new. While searching Indian, this came up and the Himalayan aspect peaked my interest. Particularly the momo dumplings being something I've never seen before sold me on this spot. The space is small but spacious, clean and bright. The hostess/waitress was nice and helpful when I asked for recommendations. We ordered the HIMALAYAN THALI SET( FOR TWO) which came with an appetizer, 4 entrées, 2 desserts, naan of your choice and rice. We were told it would take a while to come out because it all comes out at once. We said it was fine and ordered some steamed chicken momo to hold us over till the food came. Our chili paneer app from our set came out and it was quite tasty with a good spice/flavor. Maybe 10ish minutes later our thali set came out. We went with our waitress rec for one veggie (aloo gobi), one chicken (karahi), one lamb (korma), and one seafood (shrimp tikki masala). It came with one bowl of rice for 4 bowls of food. We chose the garlic naan but they had many different more creative options to choose from. The naan was good but not great. The aloo gobi was tasty as was the shrimp tikki masala. The lamb korma sauce was delish but the lamb pieces were a little hit or miss with some tender but others a little harder or dry. Maybe another 10 minutes after our main dishes arrived, the steamed momo arrived. It was tasty and very layered with different flavors that I couldn't quite pinpoint. For dessert we got the kheer and mango kulfi which were unique. Without having a reference point for what a regular entree size is, it's kind of hard to say the cost value in the thali set for two, but if it's your first time and you want to try a a few things, it's probably worth it. I will be back to try the lunch specials next time.
