Tandoori Lamb chops
Shanice G.

Perfection! Nice ambiance, sultry lighting and thoughtful decor. The tandoori lamp chops were flavorful and tender. I ate them to the bone. I asked for extra spice on the side and I didn't need it - the spicy naan will have you gulping water. Very unexpected. By far the best Indian restaurant I've been to in south florida. Highly recommend

Chilli Chicken

Review of a to go/doordash order: I have not been inside or experienced the service. The door dash platform made it hard to understand if rice would come with my tikka, so I ordered a side. I don't think I've ever gone to an Indian restaurant where dishes like that weren't automatically served with rice. I'm glad I did order it because otherwise I would have had no rice. I asked for the spiciest they have listed and I would say it was just medium. Nothing to write home about spice wise. The chicken tikka was more sauce than anything else and a bit of a let down. The chili chicken chunks were flavorful and I would have again. The packaging for delivery was quite nice and I applaud that.

Spoiled mango lassi

So we came here a couple years back and had a blast sitting at the bar. While still good, this visit turned up slightly less interesting Indian inspired cocktails but they do still have the spiked mango lassi which was nice. The star for me was the tandoori shrimp. Came out sizzling HOT on the plate which could be concerning as shrimp cooks quickly but they were just right and huge. Paneer saag was pretty good and we loved the papadum starter... good move giving the tomato and green chutney, remined me of Indian chips and "salsa". Our server was excellent too! Keep it up Bombay

Hariyali Chicken Tikka

I was in the area and craving Indian food. Bombay Darbar is a favorite close to home, so I decided to check out this location in Broward. What a beautiful place! The dining room has high ceilings and a couple of big, gorgeous chandeliers -- spectacular. I got there during Happy Hour and ordered the Hariyali Chicken Tikka and the Chilli Paneer...both so good! My usual is the Dal Tadka, which was delicious. Excellent service.

Great hearty Indian food here. I always enjoy their dal tadka, vegetable biryani and the aloo gobi is great too! It has a fun Bollywood vibe with great music playing and the servers are friendly and nice.

Riding to Las Olas, I had no idea what I wanted to eat. I checked Yelp and saw Bombay, which I'd been to before and remembered the out‑of‑body butter chicken and naan. I don't eat chicken anymore because of my blood‑type diet, but I knew they had seafood and vegan options. We went on a Friday around 5:30 p.m., and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The service was excellent--our waiter stayed on top of water, drinks, and clearing plates. Happy Hour was perfect timing, and we ordered the whole half‑hour menu plus a spicy margarita. The bel puri stole the show--I poured its mystery sauce on everything, even the jalapeño naan, and it sent the flavors to the stratosphere. The shrimp were huge, my cousin said the wings were really good and that God is good, and the paneer tasted like he was in India. The spicy margarita was one of the best I've ever had. Between the food, service, and peaceful vibe, this place is an easy 20/20. Go during Happy Hour so you can try a little of everything.

Last time I was here their cocktail program was on fire with Indian inspired drinks...That influenced our decision to come here. However they had a lot less interesting cocktail selection this time. We still enjoyed ourselves. The service and decor were impeccable. The complimentary papadum with green and red(tomato) chutney was bomb! Lycée martini helped with spice as did the bourbon spiked mango lassi. The tandoori shrimp were amazing hat and sizzling when they came out. Paneer saag was good and garlic naan is a must.

Garlic naan and chicken vindaloo

I went back to Bombay Dardar doe the second time this time for lunch. I had chicken condition medium spice. Comes with several side dishes, dessert and naan. This was the best chicken vindaloo I ever had. I savored every bite. I work a few blocks away. I will definitely be eating there more often.

Best Indian spot around. Everything was fresh, well-spiced, and delicious. Friendly staff and fast service.

Food was very tasty! My wife and I had the butter chicken and Tikka Masala. Felt like the seasoning was missing something but overall a yummy experience The service was very attentive, quick and kind. The environment was very fun and what you would hope from an Indian restaurant located on Las Olas.

Bombay Darbar still owns the Indian food game in Fort Lauderdale. I'm basically hooked on their takeout. It always arrives piping hot, sealed in their signature insulated bag, and the flavors never miss. The Chana Masala, Chili Chicken, and Tandoori Chicken Tikka are my go-tos. Pro tip: get the garlic naan--it's next level. This time I actually remembered to snap a few pics, so you can see the deliciousness for yourself. I still haven't hit up the restaurant yet, but with takeout this good, I'm in no rush. If you haven't checked them out yet, you're seriously missing out.

Chicken Tikka Masala Lunch Special
Megan W.

The vibe in here is so interesting... it is very grand and elegant, especially for a casual lunch. The food and value here is amazing-- their lunch special gets you literally a little bit of everything. You get a platter full of little dishes accompanying your entree. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was full of flavor. Despite a smaller portion, I was full because of the extra appetizers and desserts that come with the special. We had a decently large party, but there were barely any other customers in the restaurant for lunch. I would definitely come again.

Mango Chicken Curry phenomenal!!

Authentic indian food--portions are very generous, the butter chicken I wouldn't recommend (wayyy too sweet) but the rest is fabulous.

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

Parking was conveniently located right in front of the restaurant, making it an easy stop. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and invited to sit wherever we liked. We chose a table near the window and immediately appreciated the intimate and charming atmosphere. The restaurant also features a bar and televisions, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Our waitress was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel right at home, which always enhances the dining experience. Although we weren't extremely hungry, the menu had so many appealing options that we decided to sample a few items. We started with the Caribbean Tea shots, which were unique, refreshing, and surprisingly enjoyable. For drinks, we ordered a Malbec and a Peanut Butter Old Fashioned. Our first entrée was the Churrasco Frites, featuring marinated skirt steak topped with chimichurri and served with twister fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, but those fries were the true star of the dish. Still wanting more, we ordered the Garlic Parmesan Twice Cooked Wings. They were nicely prepared and satisfying, though I would have enjoyed a stronger garlic flavor. Not quite finished, we moved on to the Oaxaca Burger, an 8 ounce burger stacked with onion rings, bacon jam, house BBQ sauce, and Oaxaca cheese. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and possibly the best. The bun was toasted yet soft, the burger was seasoned perfectly, and it was cooked to a juicy medium temperature. Every bite was packed with flavor. Overall, everything we ordered was excellent, and the service and atmosphere made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.
