I think charcuterie boards are one of my favorite sharing dishes to start with and the one at the Iberian pig was quite delicious! I think they could've given more meat but oh well. I can't remember all the cheeses and meats we got but they were all good! The mustard and pickles paired well with everything. We got a variety of tapas to share: the hamachi crudo, octopus, mushroom flatbread, and then paella as a main dish. I thought the tapas were all super delicious! The hamachi crudo was so flavorful, I couldn't believe it was just a raw piece of fish cause it tasted so flavorful. The octopus was SO tender but honestly the fennel that came along with it was the star of the show for me I had never had fennel before but wow it might be my new favorite vegetable? I gotta figure out how they cooked it because it was just so good. The mushroom flatbread was so good and we didn't even know it was gonna be a flatbread because all I saw was mushroom and truffles and i was like that's gonna be delicious! And I wasn't wrong, I LOVE truffle! The paella was also super delicious, it was very different from any paella I've had before and had a very distinct flavor to it. Idk how authentic it was but it sure was tasty! Finally for dessert we ended it with a blackberry basque cheesecake and churros. GUYS. The cheesecake was PHENOMENAL. It had a blackberry caramel that was one of the best dessert things I have ever had! My only complaint was I feel like there needed to be way more of the caramel! The cheesecake was also made of goat cheese, which is very unique and I think it made it a little bit pungent? But the blackberry caramel covered it up. Honestly I feel like I would put that caramel on any dessert and it would taste amazing! The churros were pretty average, the chocolate sauce was very rich and tasty but the actual churros weren't really anything I'm gonna remember in the future. Avoid this restaurant for group events. We came to Iberian Pig Buckhead on a Thursday night for a friend's birthday dinner. The restaurant was practically empty, yet management insisted we meet a $1,000 minimum spend requirement. By the end of the meal, after multiple rounds of drinks and several courses of food, our group had spent around $400. When we spoke with the manager, Chris, and asked for some flexibility given that the restaurant was nearly vacant, he refused to budge. Instead, he suggested that we order more shots to reach the minimum. Apparently, encouraging a group to consume excessive amounts of alcohol was preferable to exercising basic common sense and customer service. What made the experience particularly frustrating was Chris's attitude. He repeatedly insisted that we were obligated to meet the minimum despite the fact that no one in our party had signed any contract or agreement. Rather than trying to find a fair solution, he seemed far more interested in squeezing additional money out of a birthday group than creating a positive guest experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The irony is that this wasn't a packed Saturday night with limited seating. We visited the Iberian Pig during our first weekend trip to Atlanta. We had completely forgotten it was Mother's Day and walked into a packed restaurant. Fortunately, we were able to find seats at the bar and were quickly greeted by a very friendly bartender. After ordering drinks, we asked for lunch recommendations and decided on the Patatas Bravas, Pulpo, B.W.D., and Ravioles de Pato. The drinks were refreshing, and every recommended dish was outstanding. The Patatas Bravas were crispy and perfectly seasoned, served with a delicious aioli. The bacon wrapped dates were incredibly good and easily one of our favorite bites of the meal. The Pulpo was cooked perfectly tender. If you're a fan of bacon wrapped dates, pork cheek tacos and olive oil gelato, this is the spot to come to. I've been here a few times and always come back for those three food items. The bacon wrapped dates are like no other. The first time I had em, it took some convincing from the server to order them. And he wasn't wrong. The olive oil gelato just melts in your mouth. Stopped in with a group of friends to do our monthly catch up on life. We heard about this place and wanted to check it out. I am happy that we did! The service was amazing. Updating my review here as we have been coming more frequently. We have thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Chris, the manager, is a true professional and a superior host. He always comes by and says hello and pours a little welcome Bubbles. Staff here have been consistently strongly attentive and friendly. The menu continues to evolve with the season, but the pork cheek tacos are always a classic. And I feel bad saying this because this is tapas, but the burger is amazing! Whatever they do with some kind of stuffed pepper, which is a changing item on the menu, definitely give it a go. Whether it's ground beef or shredded beef, it is super savory and delicious. The octopus is also fantastic. they have lots of great mixed drinks, obviously the bacon old-fashioned is a mainstay, but we really enjoy getting carafe of sangria to share. As a bonus we ran into Fred at the restaurant, which is great to see! "Keep the tapas coming!" is what we said all night long at the Iberian Pig! A group of friends and I were looking for the perfect place to enjoy a nice dinner when we stumbled upon the Iberian Pig! We decided tapas was a great idea, we could choose a bunch of dishes and share everything! And that we did! There were only so many times my phone could eat first, so I did not catch a picture of every dish however, every plate was picture worthy. Presentation was stunning, flavors were exploding in your mouth, and the ambiance was the perfect balance of sexy and casual. Our server, Brenda, was wonderful. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. She gave us great recommendations and accommodated to our needs all evening long! Some of my favorite dishes of the night were the lamb chops, the duck ravioli, and the bistec. The food here is really good and really well-made, technique-wise. However, they often run too salty on a lot of dishes, mainly the vegetarian dishes. Like the coliflor, that was terrible. The noodle dishes are overly fatty. I wouldn't get the ravioles or mac and cheese. What did hit were all of the meats and the tacos. They were all superb. The Iberian Pig is one of my very favorite restaurants anywhere in the world. Classic tapas experience, with a robust wine list and some world-class hospitality. Standout items to me are the charcuterie (which varies over time, but always prominently features the Jamon Iberico - faithful to the restaurants namesake) and the cheese selection. There is something for everyone here in terms of tapas selection, ranging from lighter bites to heavier heartier options. One of the things that I love about this place is that there is a great deal of seasonality to the menu, plating for certain sets and entire dishes will rotate to match what's in season. If you're stopping by on a weekend, there is almost always a chef's special or two. These are not to be missed! I've never felt one of these was a miss - although I do sometimes lament some favorites that never made it to the proper menu. Service is attentive and hospitable, Chris and the rest of the team do an excellent job of making you feel right at home. The Iberian Pig is a restaurant that serves Iberian/Spanish inspired tapas and drinks in a modern setting. There is a rather moody ambiance due to the dark lighting, but there was still a lively atmosphere. The servers were very insightful about recommendations and although it took some time for a bit of the food to come out, the other tapas that came out helped make the wait seem not too long. My friends and I ordered the House Sangria, Lomo, Cordero, Broccolini, Patatas Bravas, Peppadew Peppers, Paella, and some meats and cheeses (San Simon, Jamon Iberico, Hatch Chile Salami, and Cana de Cabra). The House Sangria (we got a liter to share between the four of us) was really good and it definitely gave us all a buzz. As for the meats and cheeses, I honestly do not know the difference at these tapas restaurants but they were pretty good! I enjoyed the thinner cut of meat as opposed to the sausage. The Peppadew Peppers were a bit of a let down as it was kind of like raw peppers stuffed with cheese but it was not that appetizing. I enjoyed the Patatas Bravas but everyone loved potatoes, haha. I think the Cordero, which was lamb pork belly, tasted like pork belly so that was yummy, but nothing impressive. I was a big fan of the Broccolini as it was roasted well and had nice sauces and a grated cheese over it! The Lomo was also good. It was pork tenderloin that was tender and came with a tasty aioli. I was disappointed in the Paella (there was not a lot in the big bowl) and I think it is a dish with flavors that are not for me, although the shrimp and chicken were nice to eat. Came here for my son's 15th birthday and let me just say, if there was a way to leave 6 stars this restaurant would earn it (as my son so put it). The meal was fabulous and enjoyed by us parents and my son and his best friend. Customer service was friendly and efficient. The tapas were all fantastic and we went with all the "popular" dishes thanks to Google and a few others such as the calamari which was fantastic. Desserts were amazing and we really enjoyed the new pistachio cheesecake. Had the pork ribs, the zucchini dish, the broccolini dish, the bacon cover dates dish, the pulpo dish and the salad with deep fried goat cheese and paella. ‍ Sent back the salad with a deep fry goat cheese because the dressing wasn't tasty and the deep fried goat cheese breading tasted stale tasting (chewy instead of crispy and fresh) Everything else was good maybe a 4.5 out of 5 stars. To be honest most dishes tasted better than next day after the seasonings had time to marinate into the dishes . Those of us who cook at home often and eat leftovers know that dishes sometimes taste better when they are reheated after flavors settle. The broccolini and the zucchini dish were very good as is would not reheat was delicious as it came out of the kitchen. But the pork ribs, paella definitely tasted better than next day. Coming out of the kitchen it had a slightly tangy flavor to it. That wasn't so tasty but the next day it's like the seasonings and chemistry of the dish mellowed a bit so it was much more palatable the next day. The fish and the pulpo were excellent coming out of the kitchen no problem with those, great. And of course, the appetizer which we had bacon wrapped dates was delicious. Really hard to mess up Bacon wrap dates which they did not. It was great. I also feel that $22 for a Casamigo margarita was exorbitant. First meal at Iberian Pig Buckhead. The space is cool and the crowd boisterous. Restaurant Week offerings we chose (Jamon and cheese plate) gambas, tomato bread pork cheek tacos and pulpo) were all very good. Better than other of their locations we've been to (particularly Nashville), it still is a weak facsimile of an authentic tapas experience lacks in that it in no way transports you to Spain. read more

Idk if its the heat but all resturants seem to have gnats this summer ( wasn't overwhelming but was def trying to keep them off my drinks & food). However, get the sangria and add the brandy, you will not regret it 10/10. The tapas we tried lamb chops, steak, broccoli, carrots, flatbed mushroom, and shrimp 10/10. Bacon wrapped dates were too sweet and sent back. The service started off strong but by the end we had to go find our server to close out. I would come back! read more

This was our first time dining at Iberian Pig and we were lucky, one of our party actually use to work here for years so we definitely had a bit of a hookup. As such we let him drive and guide our experience throughout the evening. I believe we ordered a selection of charcuterie, many of the tapas on the menu and we all had a few drinks, as well as splitting a bottle of champagne and a bottle wine) I will put a little emoji next to the ones I know we hadThe The space: This restaurant is beautiful. Moody and dark with industrial & mid-century modern influences. I included photos of the current menus (which apparently change) for you guys to see what the offerings are. The Food: The menu is mostly tapas with a charcuterie & queso options as well as a few larger plates of one is very hungry. We ordered many of the items and I marked those in the photos We also ordered a bottle of champagne and two bottles of wine. My personal favorites were -the tacos -meatballs -mac. We also ordered a charcuterie and everything on it it was delicious. Nothing spice - which is a positive for me but if you love a space meat just a heads up. A note for my friends with special dietary needs, one of our party has celiac disease and is also allergic to dairy, and they were able to point out the safe options (there were multiple) for him at the time of notification(though they were told at the time of booking as well) and he didn't not experience any cross contamination issues at all. Staff could not have been nicer, more knowledgeable, or attentive, but at no point were they overbearing. We did keep the table until close (about 5 hr) and no one rushed us out the door at all. Overall yes I highly recommend Iberian Pig if you are in the Buckhead Atlanta area (there are two other locations one in Decatur as well as Nashville) for a date night or celebration, or if you just want to treat yourself to a special evening. read more

The food is okay, some good, but nothing impressive and the portions are TINYYYYY (even for tapas, it's too small). We got: - marinated olives: they're just olives, sort of a waste of money tbh - charcuterie board with our three choices of meat (jamon, lomo, and chorizo) and a manchego cheese: good, but they gave us like 4 pieces of thin bread and that's not enough for the meats and cheese - pork cheek tacos: good nothing special - broccolini: perfectly cooked, would recommend this, even if you don't care about veggies - pescado a la parilla: really good, again, small portion - patatas bravas: good, would recommend Service: our waiter was sort of pretentious and generally not good. He spoke so quietly and even though we all asked him questions about the menu, he would speak to only one person which was super weird. He took away our food before it was all done and kept pushing for us to get more items. This really subtracted from our experience. Beverages: red sangria was tasty but it essentially had no alcohol. The draft selection was good too. Ambiance: this is a fancy location, definitely need to dress up a little. Parking: You can park by Big Ketch as it has free parking until 11:30 PM and it's a 5 min walk. Overall: if it's going to be this expensive, I need to feel like the food is above and beyond.
