Once seated we got a bottle of wine then some charcuterie just the jamón serrano and KM39 cheese which similar to Parmesan. Got a bunch of tapas including the pulpo, croquetas, pan con tomate, olives, bikini, Mac and cheese, patatas bravas. Pulpo and croquetas and Mac were awesome. Didn't love the patatas brava and bikini as they had too much truffle flavor. Olives were delish. Then we got paella to share which was stunning. We asked for some extra bread with it which they brought quickly. We were celebrating a birthday so they brought us each a glass of cava on the house which was so nice!!! Avoid this restaurant for group events. We came to Iberian Pig Buckhead on a Thursday night for a friend's birthday dinner. The restaurant was practically empty, yet management insisted we meet a $1,000 minimum spend requirement. By the end of the meal, after multiple rounds of drinks and several courses of food, our group had spent around $400. When we spoke with the manager, Chris, and asked for some flexibility given that the restaurant was nearly vacant, he refused to budge. Instead, he suggested that we order more shots to reach the minimum. Apparently, encouraging a group to consume excessive amounts of alcohol was preferable to exercising basic common sense and customer service. What made the experience particularly frustrating was Chris's attitude. He repeatedly insisted that we were obligated to meet the minimum despite the fact that no one in our party had signed any contract or agreement. Rather than trying to find a fair solution, he seemed far more interested in squeezing additional money out of a birthday group than creating a positive guest experience. The irony is that this wasn't a packed Saturday night with limited seating. The restaurant was largely empty. There was no apparent business reason for such an inflexible approach--just poor judgment and even worse customer service. The food was fine, but management completely ruined the evening. I think charcuterie boards are one of my favorite sharing dishes to start with and the one at the Iberian pig was quite delicious! I think they could've given more meat but oh well. I can't remember all the cheeses and meats we got but they were all good! The mustard and pickles paired well with everything. We got a variety of tapas to share: the hamachi crudo, octopus, mushroom flatbread, and then paella as a main dish. I thought the tapas were all super delicious! The hamachi crudo was so flavorful, I couldn't believe it was just a raw piece of fish cause it tasted so flavorful. The octopus was SO tender but honestly the fennel that came along with it was the star of the show for me I had never had fennel before but wow it might be my new favorite vegetable? I gotta figure out how they cooked it because it was just so good. The mushroom flatbread was so good and we didn't even know it was gonna be a flatbread because all I saw was mushroom and truffles and i was like that's gonna be delicious! And I wasn't wrong, I LOVE truffle! The paella was also super delicious, it was very different from any paella I've had before and had a very distinct flavor to it. Idk how authentic it was but it sure was tasty! Finally for dessert we ended it with a blackberry basque cheesecake and churros. GUYS. The cheesecake was PHENOMENAL. It had a blackberry caramel that was one of the best dessert things I have ever had! My only complaint was I feel like there needed to be way more of the caramel! The cheesecake was also made of goat cheese, which is very unique and I think it made it a little bit pungent? But the blackberry caramel covered it up. We visited the Iberian Pig during our first weekend trip to Atlanta. We had completely forgotten it was Mother's Day and walked into a packed restaurant. Fortunately, we were able to find seats at the bar and were quickly greeted by a very friendly bartender. After ordering drinks, we asked for lunch recommendations and decided on the Patatas Bravas, Pulpo, B.W.D., and Ravioles de Pato. The drinks were refreshing, and every recommended dish was outstanding. The Patatas Bravas were crispy and perfectly seasoned, served with a delicious aioli. The bacon wrapped dates were incredibly good and easily one of our favorite bites of the meal. The Pulpo was cooked perfectly tender. When we arrived the restaurant was packed, so we definitely felt fortunate to have snagged a last-minute table. This is my fourth year coming to Atlanta for a conference. Each year that I come I make sure to stop at the Iberian Pig for dinner. The food is always amazing and the service is typically fantastic. For three years I've visited the Decatur location, but tonight we visited the Buckhead location. I will admit I forgot we usually go to Decatur. This location is much bigger than Decatur. It's a nice decor inside. We were quickly greeted and seated. Our server, Eve, was phenomenal and really made the visit pleasurable. I forgot to take photos of the food because I was too busy eating it. We ordered so much food that I can't begin to remember it all. I always get the Iberian Old Fashioned as my drink choice, it's great. My absolute favorite dish here is the macaroni and cheese! My coworkers were blown away by it and we actually ended up ordering more. The potatoes are great, the salad was delicious. We had the flatbread which was very good and we added jamon to it. The duck ravioli is always solid, the empanadas are good but were my least favorite. The beef tacos are solid. All in all it was a memorable experience and we all left happy and full. Updating my review here as we have been coming more frequently. We have thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Chris, the manager, is a true professional and a superior host. He always comes by and says hello and pours a little welcome Bubbles. Staff here have been consistently strongly attentive and friendly. The menu continues to evolve with the season, but the pork cheek tacos are always a classic. And I feel bad saying this because this is tapas, but the burger is amazing! Whatever they do with some kind of stuffed pepper, which is a changing item on the menu, definitely give it a go. Whether it's ground beef or shredded beef, it is super savory and delicious. The octopus is also fantastic. they have lots of great mixed drinks, obviously the bacon old-fashioned is a mainstay, but we really enjoy getting carafe of sangria to share. The Iberian Pig is one of my very favorite restaurants anywhere in the world. Classic tapas experience, with a robust wine list and some world-class hospitality. Standout items to me are the charcuterie (which varies over time, but always prominently features the Jamon Iberico - faithful to the restaurants namesake) and the cheese selection. There is something for everyone here in terms of tapas selection, ranging from lighter bites to heavier heartier options. One of the things that I love about this place is that there is a great deal of seasonality to the menu, plating for certain sets and entire dishes will rotate to match what's in season. If you're stopping by on a weekend, there is almost always a chef's special or two. These are not to be missed! I've never felt one of these was a miss - although I do sometimes lament some favorites that never made it to the proper menu. Service is attentive and hospitable, Chris and the rest of the team do an excellent job of making you feel right at home. Ambience of the restaurant is high energy (with the music selection and the hustle and bustle of tapas being delivered all around you) but has a coziness (with the dark furniture and dim lighting) that makes it an excellent choice for business meals and date nights alike. The Iberian Pig is a restaurant that serves Iberian/Spanish inspired tapas and drinks in a modern setting. There is a rather moody ambiance due to the dark lighting, but there was still a lively atmosphere. The servers were very insightful about recommendations and although it took some time for a bit of the food to come out, the other tapas that came out helped make the wait seem not too long. My friends and I ordered the House Sangria, Lomo, Cordero, Broccolini, Patatas Bravas, Peppadew Peppers, Paella, and some meats and cheeses (San Simon, Jamon Iberico, Hatch Chile Salami, and Cana de Cabra). The House Sangria (we got a liter to share between the four of us) was really good and it definitely gave us all a buzz. As for the meats and cheeses, I honestly do not know the difference at these tapas restaurants but they were pretty good! I enjoyed the thinner cut of meat as opposed to the sausage. The Peppadew Peppers were a bit of a let down as it was kind of like raw peppers stuffed with cheese but it was not that appetizing. I enjoyed the Patatas Bravas but everyone loved potatoes, haha. I think the Cordero, which was lamb pork belly, tasted like pork belly so that was yummy, but nothing impressive. I was a big fan of the Broccolini as it was roasted well and had nice sauces and a grated cheese over it! The Lomo was also good. It was pork tenderloin that was tender and came with a tasty aioli. I was disappointed in the Paella (there was not a lot in the big bowl) and I think it is a dish with flavors that are not for me, although the shrimp and chicken were nice to eat. Came here for my son's 15th birthday and let me just say, if there was a way to leave 6 stars this restaurant would earn it (as my son so put it). The meal was fabulous and enjoyed by us parents and my son and his best friend. Customer service was friendly and efficient. The tapas were all fantastic and we went with all the "popular" dishes thanks to Google and a few others such as the calamari which was fantastic. Parking is easy and affordable (update : the manager kindly validated our parking ticket and put a sticker on that was good for 3 hours! Score!) and ambiance is absolutely wonderful.
