Nonetheless, when my girlfriend went to Livermore on Monday before Thanksgiving, it was packed. We came here on Wednesday and it was nearly deserted despite having much of the same stores and discounts as Livermore. It is definitely less walkable than Livermore, requiring you to cross the street to get between various plazas. But it is a great way to get 90% of the shopping experience for 50% of the stress.

But, in this case, the "mall" requires you to walk across the lot and the busiest streets in Gilroy because it's divided into four sections (or three zones). And, unlike malls, there's no AC between these stores, no food court, and no sitting areas for guys while our girls are at Pons 4 Less, Bra World or Mops N' Stuff. Bonus for having well-maintained bathrooms at each building. The only skechers seemed to be in the shoe store.

A second salesperson steered me toward the new small wallets they just got in, which were very cute. I was interested in looking at a certain brown suede bag that's quite popular right now, but they didn't have it in stock. A third salesperson tried to steer me toward the same style in regular leather, but I knew I wasn't interested. In the end I bought a small chenille handbag I fell in love with and a black glazed card case with a tiny cherries charm on it that sort of matches the bag. Their bags have changed a lot in the last 10 years and I admit I really like them again. I only gave the shop three stars because it bothered me having so many salespeople trying to help me and the third one was sort of aggressive. They would do better having one customer = one salesperson.

I politely explained that three customers had exited and that three customers should therefore be allowed in. Instead of paying attention to the customers leaving, she questioned my statement and said she had not seen anyone exit. It was apparent that she simply was not monitoring the flow closely. The interaction and her attitude did not sit well with me. I shared this with my 4 friends who were already in the store to make purchases. The experience left all of us disappointed and walked out empty handed. Because of this interaction, it will likely be quite a while before I choose to return to your store. If the was an option ZERO stars this would be the case.

Absolute WORST experience ever. They put my rings under a different name and email address. As a result, my home address and pictures were sent to another person who I have no idea who they are and have never met before. If I had not gone in to pick up my fiancé ring and check my order status they would have never caught the mistake and the other person that my order was under would have received a notification email to come pick up their ring, they could have come in with their ID and walked out with my rings. I know this because the employees confirmed that if I had not caught it that would have happened. On top of making an incredibly huge and extremely unprofessional mistake that could have cost me my wedding band and custom engagement ring, I was told that this was the first time this has happened but "no harm was caused because it was caught just in time". This was truly disrespectful because I was the only reason why this mistake was caught and there was a true lack of remorse from the management and staff. I ended up leaving with an extreme distaste for Kay Jewelers, no solution, no rings, and no change in the name on the order. Yes that's correct, they still have my order under a completely different persons name, a stranger no less. This was the first and very last time that I will be shopping here. I strongly advise you stay as far away from this store at all costs. TERRIBLE.

I saw from the sign that he will rhodium your white gold jewelry - and seeing that one of my rings needed some work done - left it with him ($75) to work on. Now this is one of my favorite rings, with my dad's baguettes from his wedding ring in it, made for me from a different jeweler - but I felt comfortable with Jack to do this. I just had a feeling I could trust him. About two weeks later when I had the time to go back (He had told me 3 days) I was able to make it into his store - and the ring just looked great, polished with the rhodium placed back on it to protect it as best it could. Now with the trust built in with his work - I asked him to make my wedding band for me. And he is working on that now. I'll b back soon to leave another review on that item!

I liked the customer service on my visit and they had all the sizes I was looking for. It was quick and I was in and out in about 15 minutes. It's tucked away in the corner of the outlet.
