I've been here over 15 times as this is kind of our default place. Food is good, drinks are refreshing and pretty strong. Service is always spot on. Ambiance is what you would expect from place like this which isn't a bad thing. I would say this in area for improvement. The times we have been it hasn't really been that busy. Yesterday we experienced a pretty busy Sunday and while I get it could slow things down I.e. service etc. With that said it's fixable by adding a couple more employees to the roster on those days. Food took over 30 mins to get out and even when it was it got piece mailed to us. Service was slowed due to the understaffing and overall not a good look. Next time I experience this I'll definitely down grade the stars and in the end you will lose my business. You have a good thing going here don't mess it up by cutting corners. Had a horrible experience at this place. Went there for a family get-together to celebrate birthday, graduation, new jobs - just a fun family day. Checked here on Yelp and Instagram and this place looked great! What the pictures did not show, was the long wait for food, wrong orders, and disgruntled manager. I was the first in the group to get there and was lead to a table; everyone followed in shortly after. Abigail, our server was so sweet! None of this is her fault - this is all the kitchen and the manager (who we found out was the owner). There were 8 of us ordering that day, and we all ordered something different. Abigail repeated everything back to us; specifically, as it was requested, no onions here, chicken with this plate, beef with that one, green sauce here, soft eggs here, all specifics for each dish. She repeated everything for each of us EXACTLY how we requested it. Orders went back, and we went back to catching up. After a normal wait, the first order came out, and it was the only one to come out. It came like 15 minutes before the others came out, and the dish was wrong. Alerted the waitress, who went to the kitchen to put the correction in. And then we waited 15 minutes for the other plates to come. All the plates should have all come together, but they did not. Each plate came at a separate time, and EVERY PLATE WAS WRONG! Even the avocado toast was wrong (was not toasted - like 1 job there. The bread was still white) The veggie omelet was burnt on the bottom and thick like a quiche. Sides were mixed up and proteins (like chicken and steak) were put on dishes for nonmeat-eaters. It took almost 40 minutes after the first plate came, for everyone else to get their plates. Started sending some redos to the kitchen, and they were very slow with bringing them back. Eventually we just started switching food in order to make our plates. Some of us, never got our redo/fixes. The food for the most part was overcooked. The toast that came out was still white bread; not toasted at all. Really hard to give a good food review, bec nobody got what they ordered. The omelet was not an omelet; more of a thick egg cake and was burnt on the bottom. The Chilaquiles We requested the manager several times, but she knew we were upset, and purposely would walk past us. She took her time coming and left the poor server to deal with us. All the server could say was I'm sorry and try to fix it as best as she could. She was the only one who took accountability for the plate problems. When the manager did finally show up, she looked visibly upset; like she could not be bothered, and did not apologize once. Pretty much just said Yeah Ok to the problems we mentioned and left. When it was time for the bill to come, we were left waiting once again. When we finally got the bill, and then had to hunt for the manager, who we found out was also the owner. She was in the kitchen with the cooks and let us know that she was training them that day. She was training a kitchen of completely new cooks on game day Sunday - this is a sports bar. There were multiple TVs with football games going, and the place was packed. Not only a funny time to train new cooks, but also funny that she was running the kitchen and letting the plates pass. She let EVERY DISH COME OUT WRONG. She actually said at one point that only 4 dishes came out wrong, acknowledged sending them out wrong. It was all of them, but not sure in what world it would have been OK to send out 4 wrong dishes; especially since we had a mix of meat-eaters and vegetarians, as well as food allergies. I think we all might have been more understanding about the whole situation, had she have shown some empathy. If she would have just apologized and took accountability we would have left with a less icky feeling, and would not have felt like this deserved a bad review. So, If you have a lot of time to spare waiting for food, and you're OK with that food NOT COMING OUT CORRECTLY, then you might enjoy this place. read more
