I will have to say the food here is bomb! I've been here a few times since they've open and really thought this place had potential then and now it's a spot to be at! For a game, to hang with friends...all of it! The server here Jackie is cool as hell! She really helps with setting the vibe of this place and for birthdays or just special occasions in general she does candy shots. If you have any questions about what to order she will direct you to some good food. The go to here is the passion fruit margaritas, birria with consommé, carne asada tacos (they don't make it well done but not super medium either - just perfect), truffle fries with some chili something or another, the chili lime wings, stay away from the lemon pepper - too salty for my taste. And sports games all around! And if you ask them to change they definitely will do it for you. This place has a party vibe so make sure you come to enjoy. I was here for an event and it was my first time! Parking can be a bit challenging because it's a very busy area. The ambiance was very cute with all of the decorations and lighting. I also enjoyed how many TVs there were, especially for the event. The service was great and we were checked on many times, which I appreciated. My drink was delicious and so were the chicken tinga taquitos. I did enjoy the truffle fries, however, I wish we were asked if we wanted them spicy or not spicy because they came out with chili. I had the cucumber serrano margarita--super refreshing with just the right kick. One friend tried the passion fruit margarita, and another went with the coconut margarita. All three were absolutely delicious! I usually find margaritas too sweet at other places, but these were perfectly balanced. For food, we ordered a mix of appetizers to share: the chicharrón, chicken tinga taquitos, and the birria empanadas. Tried Zamas for the first time from a recommendation and I enjoyed it very much. The vibe is tropical safari very nicely decorated. The restroom was squeaky clean and the stalls even have a small corner table to place bags. Sunday is happy hour all day, we ordered nachos from the appetizer menu, very tasty and a great for sharing. We also got the tinga taquitos 10/10 with the sauce it comes with. The sweet chili wings were my favorite! The size of the wings are average, the perfect amount of spice and sweet and overall very flavorful. I came here to watch Love Island with a couple of friends and I was very disappointed to say the less. Service was REALLY BAD. It took 1 hour to get a beer. Once I flagged someone to cancel the beer, they brought it. It was the wrong beer but I drank that one cuz I was afraid I had to wait another hour for the correct one. Some food items never came out so we had to cancel those as well. A small bowl of fruits that we order at 5 right when happy hour started, we got it 10 min before the episode ended. (We even forgot we had ordered it). If you are hosting an event make sure to have the appropriate amount of help. It was frustrating because the table to our right, were friend with one of the workers there and they would have drinks and food coming non stop. We came here for Happy Hour and were very pleased with the selections. Flavor wise The chili lime wings were my favorite, the bacon wrapped dates were delicious, the taquitos were fine, and the truffle fries were good with some spice. I like spicy but the menu should definitely mention the fries have a kick. The drinks were a bit of a let down, while they looked pretty and I appreciated the different garnishes they were pretty light on the alcohol. We tried the Pineapple and Jamaica margaritas and they were mediocre. I do often wonder if happy hour drinks are lighter on the alcohol so if I go back during normal hours I'll update this review. The service was good and the wait staff were personable. The bar itself is okay - typical size for DTF - a little loud so it probably would not be somewhere I would go to meet with friends to catch up. We got wings, a salad, and the birria tacos, as well as guacamole and chips and salsa. The birria tacos had very flavorful meat. The tortillas were a little hard so the last one I picked out the meat. My friend enjoyed her salad and the other enjoyed her wings. The service was decent. It wasn't bad or good. Our waitress kept checking up on us and despite being busy, was really attentive to everyone. They did make an announcement asking everyone to be patient with them, but they handled business so well. They have seating along the side and back. They also have two entrances to the restaurant. The host side is by the parking lots. Our server was pretty nice. She checked in a few times on us. We were a bit disappointed by the food. The cauliflower tacos were very plain and had a sauce over it but not much flavor. The jungle fries were a bit more pricey but I don't think there was any flavor and wasn't worth it. The menu said guacamole sauce and honestly it tasted like avocados that were mixed with water. I got it without the grilled asada so that might add some flavor from the meat. But it's disappointing that the sauce and toppings added no flavor. I've had drinks here a few times, but I finally stopped in on the 4th of July to have a meal. Everything was fabulous. It was a party of 3. My husband and I shared the carne asada nachos without jalapeños and the lemon pepper wings. Both dishes were phenomenal. The nachos had the perfect combination of each ingredient in every bite. The guacamole was fantastic. The asada was marinated to perfection. The wings were the best lemon pepper wings we have ever had! My grandpa wasn't too hungry, so he had a fish taco. He enjoyed it. It's a small narrow restaurant but cute decor with mural, plants throughout. I'm here for the food, it was delicious. They mentioned everything could take awhile because it's handmade but I didn't feel like we waited that long. Birria plate, a must, very uniqu. Aguachiles had great flavor. Homemade tortillas were wonderful. The guacamole had a unique flavor and tasty. I had the new fresca margarita. Everything was served tapas style and very tasty! Sigh, where do I start? Got here yesterday on Sunday at 11:30. I should have perused their Brunch menu prior, because their happy hour menu is far more appealing, and I'm sure more flavorful. They did have one large party of at least 10 people and then another party of 6. And it was just party of two for me and my girlfriend. Had no trouble finding a seat, but was sitting in front of where they pick up the food from the kitchen, which isn't ideal. Sat down was served a small glass of water immediately. Ordered a Paloma and a breakfast shot, it took 45 minutes to get those drinks. In fact, my friend got her a plate of food before those drinks came out. Before we ever got more water to drink. Fast-forward about 15 to 20 more minutes, finally get my plate of food. The muffin for the eggs Benedict was so hard that I could not cut it with a knife. I asked for a steak knife, and was told they have none. Our server didn't seem all that concerned with us, still waiting on water at times when I can see her refilling other guests champagne glasses, and yet we still hadn't had our cocktails or a refill of water. If the food was amazing, I would probably go back. But the food was bland/cold and had sat, the service, and frankly the lack of wanting to take care of us, is undesirable. I will say, and the reason I'm giving two stars, we were offered a shot of tequila for the long wait. All in all we had water one drink each and one plate of food and were there for over two hours. We ordered the taquitos, bacon-wrapped dates, wings, & nachos, which was my favorite. We also availed their promotion for this week which was an $18 beer bucket.
