Unfortunately, my lashes barely held their lift after few minute of driving away (5 mins) and didn't even look tinted. They just looked like my regular lashes. The brows came out decent, but she did some waxing and cutting, which I hadn't asked for, now one tail is shorter than the other and thinner.. there goes months of growing. To make things worse, I ended up with a burn! I wasn't going to pay $175 for this, so I went back and asked for a refund for the lashes at least. It's a real shame because the place was great with Brittany and Luciana. I wouldn't be surprised if they left because they weren't treated well and made their own business. The girl who worked on me even mentioned she only had THREE MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE, which really showed. Brazilian Beauty shouldn't advertise services they're not qualified to provide. I ended up going to get it checked out, and the doctor suggested it could have been caused by a contaminated or improperly disinfected extraction tool. That immediately made sense to me because I didn't see a barbicide jar or any visible sanitizing setup in the room where my facial was performed. It really made me question whether they are properly disinfecting their tools between clients. Overall, this experience was stressful.

And when they stated the price, it was $20 higher than I was originally anticipating per the pricing online. They asked if I wanted a receipt, I said yes to check it but they only handed me the credit card slip. I asked for the itemized receipt and the lashes were an extra $20. At no point did the makeup artist mention the up charge and I was a little taken aback. A friend of mine came in after and I mentioned the lashes to her and she opted out of them. I was frustrated as I literally had lashes in my purse while sitting in the makeup chair. I wish I had the option to pay the extra fee instead of not being warned. I mentioned I didn't get my makeup done often so this wasn't something I was expecting and it wasn't listed on their website that lashes were extra when booking. I was really disappointed as I felt like it was done secretive instead of being open with clients.

And they continue to send me emails, reminding me to book an appointment for service they no longer offer. I have heard from former employees that management treats them poorly, messes with their schedule and has no respect for keeping customers aligned with the person who you have established a relationship with. To me this demonstrates a disregard both of their employees and their customers. I understand that businesses can choose to make decisions based on a variety of factors. I am not writing this review based on their decision. I am writing this review based on their handling of their decision, which, in my opinion could not have more poorly. Before all of this, I was happy with the establishment for years. i'm sure there are good people that work there who provide great service. However, I cannot overlook the way I was treated and the ongoing insult. Emailing me encouraging me to book an appointment.
