This was our first time here we had the stuffed avocado with crab and it was excellent, we shared the meatball sandwich that had wonderful flavor and ordered a small cheese pizza, the crust was great but for me the cheese was overwhelming and salty. We discovered this restaurant while living in Rockwall for a month. It's in the downtown square and is very popular. I'm glad we landed here on a weekday because even then, the wait was quite long. We loved the atmosphere; it's warm and cozy. We were seated with a view of the brick oven and it was fun to watch. We started with the blue crab dip and enjoyed the first few bites. It is very rich and thick and overly filling. I wanted to save room for the pizza, which was amazing. We liked it so much that I met a friend of mine here for lunch later that week. We both ordered sandwiches. The bread was hard and dry and our chicken was over cooked and chewy. Neither of us finished our plates. So, I would recommend sticking to their pizza and/or salads. Food is fantastic. Their pizza is amazing, salads are great, but it is incredibly loud. They have tried to put sound panels up to help, but it is still too loud to have a descent conversation. My family and I visited tonight for the first time for my husband and my anniversary. The atmosphere is hip without being pretentious, and the staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was all good, but there were a few standouts. We had the blue crab dip after reading the reviews and it did not disappoint. Several pizzas were ordered including the San Jacinto, and 3 Little Pigs, but the entrée round winner was the red fish special. It was grilled and served over green beans and a garlic risotto. The fish was good, well seasoned and not overcooked, but the garlic risotto was AMAZING. We rarely get dessert, but since we were out for a special occasion we decided to try a couple. The peach lavender cheesecake was unique and delicious. It was eclipsed by the bananas foster though. I'm not much of a dessert person, nor do I care much for bananas, but this was delectable. They flambé it table side and the smell of caramelizing sugars spreads throughout the restaurant. Heavenly. Bottom line: great experience, good food, will be back. read more

We were told that they were only serving apps, salads & pizza's for the day, but it didn't cause us any grief whatsoever. Back to the food... Blue Crab Dip Appetizer - I would prefer more of the soft bread as opposed to the crispy bread, but the fact they offer both is a bonus. It was very delicious and savory and can do no wrong as an app. Pep pizza w/ Chicken - It was delicious but, the dough was very soggy. I will ask for it extra crispy next time, but I'm not sure if that would make a difference. If you're a fan of a thin crust, don't be afraid to give it a go. The food and service are always great for us. We normally take a seat at the bar because Pablo is quick and ready to serve. His timing couldn't be better....without a spoken word, he serves us our drinks. We normally order the spinach salad and a pizza along with an appetizer ( the mussels with red sauce are incredible). This is not a place to take children because the menu does not cater to juveniles. Besides, it gets loud on Friday and Saturday nights because it gets packed. We have turned away on many occasions because it was too busy. Also, they sure could use a larger restroom facility. read more

On the evening of Saturday, August 14th, my date and I made a reservation via Text and then proceeded to the Bar. Fast forward 30 minutes, and I heard some guy literally yelling out,...DID SOMEONE LOOSE A PHONE,...and he was jumping all over me in front of the entire Restaurant... He got real nice when I stared him down,...,but he pissed me off big time, and me and my date did complain to the staff. Not sure if anything was done about it, but I know this guy does not need to be in the service business, and unless he's the owner, either way he needs to be replaced. Very good pizza. Started off with a bruschetta salad that was excellent. Everything very fresh. The salad is big enough for 2. Spouse ordered the Mighty Quinn and enjoyed it immensely. I had the Hubbard and it was very good. I had the Martin House IPA and I enjoyed it very much and I am an occasional craft beer drinker. Spouse had Newhollands milk stout. He is an avid craft drinker and enjoyed it. The waiter was friendly. It took a little while for the pizza for a Wednesday night but we were not in any hurry. We ordered the spicy pizza with spinach and prosciutto I forget the name and then our friends ordered the goat cheese and fig with pine nuts and holy crap it was delicious! I had the ribeye which was only alright. The steak had a great sear on it and good flavor but it was drenched in a way too sweet balsamic sauce. Would have been great if that sauce wasn't on it.
