Great rooftop seating with a nice view overlooking the main road in Manassas. I visited during First Friday, so the place was packed, but our waitress was still attentive and very personable. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations--the appetizers (corn dip and queso) were oily and lacked flavor. Overall, the atmosphere and service were great, but the food could definitely use some improvement.

What a great way to end my business trip having lunch here before heading to the airport. This is not a text back or Mexican taco restaurant, it's a fusion of Americanized tacos that is worth the try, the restaurants inside is clean and modern, they have a patio on the second floor, which is really cozy and the service is amazing. I had four different taxes that day in every single one of them was delicious, the margaritas they have is a must try as well. In general amazing place and I am sure that I will be coming back here.

Very good margarita made by the bartender on the rooftop. It's 5:41pm here so I can confirm it's 5:00pm somewhere and it feels amazing outside as I type this. I've had the food here before too and it's solid. I don't frequent here but when I do pull up I have never been gravely disappointed. The music soundtrack needs some help though. $2 off tequila pours on Tuesdays

Visited Zandra's around like 4:30pm on Thursday and I was able to grab a sit as soon as I walked in. The space is seat yourself and you have to find street parking so be mindful of that if you come during peak hours of 5pm or later. The inside of the restaurant gives a small/medium sized bar vibe there is seating at the bar and also about 10 or so tables in the entire restaurant (unless there is another floor I didn't see). Our waitress/waiter was amazing, so so sweet. She made me a delicious and very creative mocktail: a spin on a pine colada and margarita, chef's kiss. My girlfriend had a mojito and enjoyed hers! For food: we had the buffalo chicken taco, smash burger, sweet fire shrimp, mango salasa (super fresh and tasty), and guacamole. The buffalo chicken taco had the two peppers next to it on the menu but wasn't too spicy more like a mild. The sweet fire shrimp that didn't have the peppers written next to it on the menu was hotter than the buffalo chicken. The smash burger was literally a patty on a taco, if that's your jam you will like it. The pickles on it are good but it's a bit much and one or two would be enough to fill you up. I would definitely get the buffalo chicken taco again and sweet fire shrimp. I look forward to trying the other options and their drink specials and offerings are really good too.

Went to Zandra's with my granddaughter early Saturday afternoon. It was not crowded which was great. We ordered sweet fire shrimp taco and the loaded queso tots. Food came out quickly and everything was delicious. It was a beautiful day so we sat on the rooftop. It was a good experience

Absolutely obsessed with this place! We've come about three times in two weeks. The chips and salsa is absolutely amazing! I love the medium green salsa, and my husband can't get enough of the spicy salsa. He also loved the smoked pork belly taco, and my favorite vegan option is the brussel sprouts. We had three different servers behind the bar. While the first two were just ok, a little cocky actually.. David P was absolutely incredible! Very friendly, attentive, and gave us a great dining experience! Seriously love all the beers and ciders on tap. There's plenty of options for everyone! PS if you don't like loud music, recommend going mid-day for a more chill, laid back vibe!

I came here for an early dinner in Manassas before a meeting. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I ordered two tacos: skirt steak and birria. Wow! They were very delicious with unique flavor. Price was reasonable as well.

The food was amazing. My friend and I popped in here, never being here before but we were in the mood for a margarita. It was the first time I had to pay for chips and salsa, but we got to choose our salsa from a few different types. I chose the mango salsa and it was really good. It said "sweet salsa", but it def had a kick. We also got the queso dip, elote (which can be cut off the cob) and two tacos. All of it was delicious. I was not impressed with the wait staff, very slow, not attentive, but it wasn't horrible. I'd definitely go back again.

We drove out of our way to try this place and honestly it was a bit confusing to figure out where to order. There are two lines and it's not very clear which one we are supposed to get in for what. Especially because some of the items are duplicate on both menus. I noticed there was barely anyone in the "restaurant" line. Anyway, we sort of got a little bit of everything and wasn't completely brown away. I liked that they let you add your own toppings, and all of the sauces that have available were great. But the taco meats all sort of lacked a bit of flavor. Carnitas are my favorite but these were a bit inconsistent. Some pieces were very nice and juicy where others were hard to chew. I will say the place is very clean and spacious. They're pretty quick with your order as well. The food was lacking flavor for me personally. Overall, I don't think I would go back.

The server was very nice and allowed me to do a la carte on the tacos and get 3 kinds. These fell flat as the tortillas were rubbery and didn't taste fresh. The meat flavor needed love. I really enjoyed the included refried beans side, but the rice wasn't tender soft, but brittle. If I returned, I'd probably try an enchilada to sample the sauces. WHAT I ATE - Virginia @ El Garage Restaurant…read moreManassas, VA We stumbled on El Garage Restaurant while shopping around Manassas and are happy with our find! There are tons of Mexican and latino eateries in the Manasas area. Some good, and some great! We think this a great one for great tasting food, affordable prices and authenticity. They have a pretty extensive menu of items. We were curious about the food kept hot in the steam tables, and we were introduced to BARBACOA! We also wanted to try something different and had not had goat or lamb done Mexican style. What a treat! Warm, tender lamb and goat, seasoned perfectly and accompanied with Mexican rice, black beans and fresh, hot tortillas. We'd say the portions of meat were generous, and so good we ate everything! The green chile sauce was spicy, but not terribly so. Watch out for the red sauce, as it may be spicier than most people can tolerate. I'm not normally a fan of Mexican rice, but this rice was very flavorful, with perfectly cooked tender grains that had the rice amount of "stickiness" to keep it on the fork or in the taco. For drinks, the cooling, sweet/tart house made Tamarindo was so good and kind of lemony in flavor. They also have Jarritos brand tamarindo in bottles, but trust me. Fresh made tamarindo is better! El Garage Restaurant is on our list of place to stop for lunch or dinner when we are in this part of Manassas. VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/GfoSv3cZ2pE
