We've been renting it on Airbnb and every single guest has left feedback about what an amazing space it is. It's so unique and special, more than I would have dreamed possible when we first started toying with the idea of building it. Matt and his crew are perfectionists and very creative. They are all super nice people and it was a pleasure working with them to design the space. They really listen to what you're looking for and what you want to utilize the space for. Could not recommend them more highly.

I had the kids prepped, fed, and promised a treat if they were good. I was so excited to get the process going that I was literally standing over my phone waiting for his call. 9 am. No phone call. 9:20 No phone call so I called the office and was told that they would text the owner and someone would get back to me in a few minutes. 10 am. No phone call or messages. 10:28 am and my phone rang and it was Matt, the Owner. He said that he had called me at 9 am and I did not answer and that he left me a message. I looked and there were no missed calls and no messages. He said he called the number that he was talking to me on (my cell phone). I said that he had not called MY phone and asked if this is how they conduct their business? ( an hour and a half late for an appointment) He then said if I was calling him a liar, then this was not going to work and so long. He did not even entertain the idea that maybe he had dialed the wrong number. So very disappointing but IF this is how they treat customers, then Straight Line is definitely NOT the remodeling company for me. It's too bad as I am doing a whole house renovation. What happened to excellent customer service???

They took a nightmare of a situation and went above and beyond to make it a dream. From the very beginning, Megan and Rachel took on the project with confidence, humor, and professionalism. While Megan and Rachel are wizards at design and listening to client's personal styles, it is important to note that their services go beyond simple aesthetics. They were incredibly involved with the physical design of the space, which included frequent communication with our construction company and subcontractors, ensuring that everything was accomplished according to the plan. This included but was not limited to: designing lighting plans; meticulously designing and measuring cabinetry, and then working with the cabinet maker and subs to ensure a correct fit; swooping in to fix address all the issues, from fixture placements to counter heights to wall lengths. Their attention to detail along the way was truly astounding and their knowledge of home workmanship is unmatched. There was never a problem they couldn't fix or an issue that they couldn't untangle. I know without a doubt that our project would not be as amazing as it is without them. Fox and Fern is an amazing team and I cannot wait until I have another project so I can work with them again. They are the absolute best and would highly recommend their services.

There was a long list of things to get done and owner/GC Bill helped ensure the work was done well and completed on time. Fair to say there were no surprises budget-wise. We Demo'd everything Put in new hardwood floors Adjusted the layout -- moved the fridge and range, added an island Extended a gas line to the stove Opened up the two entries into the kitchen Painted it all New cabinets and countertops New lightning (overhead, under counter, a couple of pendants) Added a skylight Mostly all new appliances Maximized the storage (no more pantry in the garage!) Bill was really responsive thru email and text and I never felt unaware of the project's next steps. It was also very clear what design elements I was responsible for and what I could trust him to pick out or supply. His partner Pam offered assistance and wisdom in this area too! (And to be clear, nothing proceeded without my approval.) Bill coordinated everything so effectively. When gathering bids I really liked that he highlights that he has a longterm relationship -- ie 20+ years in some cases -- with many of his subcontractors. It shows; they were all reliable as well. While I hope not to have to redo another kitchen any time soon, I will be keeping Bill/Garden Home in mind for other house renovation projects. We've been in our finished kitchen now for about 6 months and I'm still so happy with the update. We are spending an infinitely more amount of time in it the enjoying it as a family space that was inaccessible before.

Her enthusiasm, taste, style, persona, eye for detail, organization skills, project management, and overall friendliness are beyond reproach, Myself and my wife had been on the fence about selling or renovating and were losing hope of finding a contractor until my wife found Krisanna and Recast Homes. From the moment we met her both my wife and I felt at ease, relaxed and the weigh of what seemed like the world was lifted. It was now an easy decision and we were staying in our home! One thing that jumped out at us and was a fantastic bonus is that she is not only a GC but also an interior / exterior designer. We spoke with Krisanna about remodeling our kitchen, making our laundry room more functional, updating the downstairs powder room, changing the flooring, redoing the stairs, building a loft and adding a wall to separate the dining room from the front room. What happened next blew us away! She took all the ideas that we had and then added to and enhanced each of them. Krisanna laid out a clear and concise timeline for the project and was able to tell us what was happening on each day and week for the duration of the renovation. Once we committed to the project the scale of the project became apparent to us but Krisanna was able to get ahead of any issue and would meet with us in person and by phone to discuss colors, materials, style, lighting. Once all the decision were made the demo started on time and on the day we had planned. Like every renovation project there are always unforeseen issues and we had water damage at the back door, powder room and under the kitchen island from slow leaks due to old bad CPVC piping. Krisanna immediately informed us of what was found, had a plan in place and repairs scheduled the same day. She would also arrive to the house and say things "like I have been thinking about this wall ..... we should leave a section open at the top for added light" and it made the wall 10x better. The samples she brought, the colors, paint, the furnishings, accessories, stove ideas, kitchen pendants and faucets were all exactly what we had wanted but could not put together on our own. Her help with the flooring was incredibly and spent many hours with us at CFM helping us decide on what worked best for the cabinetry color scheme. The finished product is jaw dropping and the quality of the finish is outstanding. We are delighted with how the house looks and how functional it now is. I have an office again, we have a Loft for a kids play room, a beautiful kitchen, front room, dinning room, family room and the laundry room is exceptional. If you have project and need a general contractor or designer then the only realistic option is Krisanna and Recast Home. She is simply the absolute best!!!
