5 stars across the board! This was such a great meal. The service was on point, and the food hit the spot. The restaurant had a convenient parking lot (which is not the case for a lot of places in the area), and options for eating inside or outside. My entire family was happy with everything that was ordered and we would definitely go back!
A stellar place in the middle of tourist trap places. They will not charge you an arm & leg but are not cheap either. Make sure to reserve your spot, otherwise, more than likely will have to wait, at least I assume during the busy summer months. The service is slow even after you are seated with drinks and food getting to your table, but the great tasting food makes up for it for the most part. We had garlic bread, a couple of different pizzas & a calzone and everything tasted amazing! The restaurant is clean with nice decor and a big plus that they have their own parking lot so you're not paying $5-10 to park while you eat.
I'll start with my only two critiques which takes it down to 4 stars. 1. Food is just waaaaay too slow. Be prepared to wait and keep this in mind if you're bringing hungry children. Food will NOT come fast. 2. Table bread that comes with pasta is very plain Jane sliced white bread. And butter ? Isn't that sacrilege in a self described "authentic" Italian restaurant ? Where is the olive oil and balsamic ? Anyway...When the food finally gets to your table.... wow! Hands down the top 3 pizzas I've ever had in my life. Deep , rich flavour. Dough is perfectly salted. The sauce and cheese are quality. The children ate it all up ! I also had the eggplant lasagna which is again one of the top 3 I have ever had. Just superb. Perfectly executed. Not salty , not too cheesy. Balanced ! The "gravy" makes you wanna lick your elbows. Tastes like it came from homegrown tomatoes. So so good! Our server Karen was delightful and great with the children and kept us updated on the progress of our meals. A MUST VISIT family restaurant when you're in Niagara.
Zappi's is a reasonable meal option very close to the Falls. We had the stuffed mushrooms, steak salad, and a large Zappi's works pizza. That was more than enough food for the four of us. The stuffed mushrooms had pork inside them and were topped with some cheese. The steak salad's meat was more like the shavings that go in a Philly cheese sandwich rather than actual steak, but it was still tender and well-seasoned. I found Zappi's works to be a bit on the salty side, with toppings a bit unevenly distributed but the dough was fluffy and even the ends were tasty. Service was a little on the slow side, and our water refills went entirely neglected. The stairs down to the washrooms are a bit of a trip and fall risk, and the washrooms needed a bit more attention. There are a few free parking spots (rare for this area!) and the building and interior have the charm of an old-school diner. The prices were comparable to restaurants in Toronto, and the portions were generous. Not a tourist trap! We'll probably visit again.
Zappi's was a pleasant surprise in Niagara, where honestly, a lot of places feel like they're just waiting to overcharge tourists. Prices here were reasonable, service was fine, and most importantly, the food was actually good. Because of the long drive and packed schedule, we didn't order much. Just shared the Zappi's "Works" pizza and the stuffed mushrooms. Both were solid. No fuss, nothing trying too hard, just well-made and satisfying. I don't know if it felt extra great because I was so burnt out from disappointments at other spots nearby, or if this place is just that consistent, but either way, I was just glad to be there. Definitely hoping to come back to try more off the menu when time allows.
While visiting Niagara Falls I wanted to find a good restaurant that wasn't super expensive and I found it at Zappi's. I really liked the Italian feel to the restaurant. The decor was really cute. I made a reservation in advance so we did t have to wait long to be seated. We decided on the fried mozzarella for an appetizer and it was really good. I'm not sure why but the pizza really surprised me and my husband with how good it was. We got the small which was the perfect size for us both to share. The only reason I'm only giving three stars is because we were forgotten about by our waitress. It kind of wasn't her fault but during the rush she was really overwhelmed and even though it looked well staffed for some reason our waitress was really being overworked with a lot of tables to service

My kids got to play with pizza dough, which was such a huge thing while waiting for food and then one of them got to make their own cheese pizza which is unheard of but the best we had a delicious Greek salad a couple of calzones they were big puffy and full of goodness and the pizzas were the best I've eaten in a very long time. Our server was very friendly, attentive and professional. The ambience was very welcoming as well. senior in Beaumont high school, that the law against public within the limits of Beaumont abolished. Don't hesitate to frequent this place as often as you can.

They specialize in Italian food, which is one of our favorites, so we were excited to try them out. We were able to order online for pickup and walk across the street when it was ready, which was very convenient. Everyone enjoyed their food, it was fresh and tasty and totally better than anything we could have gotten from a chain restaurant. Totally worth a visit if you're looking for great Italian food.
Super busy on a Saturday night. The 5 of us were seated at a table for six, then asked to move to a table made for 4. The acoustics inside were terrible. Conversation was almost impossible. My salad was fresh. I loved the pizza. The crust was delicious and soft with a slight chew. The mushrooms were fresh (not canned). The cheese was the perfect amount. I thought the pizza was very good. Big Daddy, however, complained that it lacked all taste. The chicken in the alfredo tasted processed. It reminded us of the pre-cooked chicken that comes frozen in a bag. The alfredo sauce, however, was fabulous. I could have licked the plate clean. For my family, this place was a place of extremes. Everything (food, atmosphere, setting, etc.) we either really loved or really disliked. Overall, probably not a place we'd return, but mostly because of the crowd and uncomfortable table. You might have a different experience on a less busy evening.

I give this a 4.5 but Yelp is making me round up to ten. While the Chicken Parm was good, I think where they truly shine is their pizzas. My group shared 3 different pizzas, but our favorite was the Diavolo Carne, whose combination of pepperoni, sausage, and salami with a kick of pepper really hit the spot. The service staff was really friendly as well. Overall, I definitely recommend this as a standout amongst the others near the Niagra Falls hotels.
We visited Zappi's Pasta based on a recommendation from our hotel and had a very positive experience. This is, without a doubt, the best pizza place in the area. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, making it a great spot for a family meal. We were delighted by the opportunity to watch the pizza being made right in front of us, which added an extra layer of excitement to our dining experience. The pizzas were delicious, with fresh ingredients and perfectly baked crusts. The menu had a variety of options to cater to everyone's tastes, and the pasta dishes were equally impressive. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Over all, Old school pizza and pasta spot with reasonable prices for the Niagara hotel area.
My family and I went here after looking up local restaurants when we were staying in the area. We got sat right away with immediate service. We sat outside in the patio and thought it was cute! We ordered a Cesar salad, a pizza, and a chicken parm dinner. Our food was delicious!

Expensive for the quality of the food. Pizza was "ok" but the dough was good. We also got the chicken parm sub- the chicken was not breaded. They do not carry pepperocinis. Service was fantastic! The staff is quick, nice and they were nice to the kids. read more

Fresh, delicious, homemade style food enhanced by quick, friendly service! This family friendly restaurant won't hurt your wallet. The kitchen has a window into the dining room so that patrons can enjoy a peek at the action. I left full and smiling. They have a large, free, parking lot outside. I recommend! read more

Food: 4* Service: 5* Ambiance: 4* During a trip to Niagara Falls in Canada, we had dinner here. 3 of us shared stuffed mushrooms, lasagna, and the DIAVOLO CARNE pizza. The pizza was out of this world! A little spicy (in a very good way), ample, and well seasoned. The lasagna was good, not remarkable, but we were thankful it came with bread for scarpeta (scooping up the extra sauce with crusty bread). The mushrooms were good, a little cold, but well stuffed and well seasoned. A great alternative just one block from the big hotels overlooking Niagara Falls for a cheaper but delicious meal. Family‑run gem five minutes from the Falls. FREE on‑site parking is a lifesaver in tourist territory, and the dining room's red‑and‑white checks feel like Nonna's kitchen. Bacon‑laced stuffed mushrooms were juicy flavour bombs. Steak salad stacked with rib‑eye for the carb‑shy. "Zappi's Works" pizza on pillowy crust, loaded with pepperoni, peppers, olives and mushrooms. One large fed three of us. Service is warm and quick, washrooms spotless, prices refreshingly fair for Niagara. Eat here for comforting Italian that won't mug your vacation fund. I will return when I am in the area. read more

We stayed at the Radisson which was across the street from Zappi's. Zappi's is closeby to various hotels that are near the north side of the falls. So it's an easy walk but also has a nearby parking lot for anyone driving. The inside is small, loud with the typical italian vibrant feel. Service was great and attentive during our visit. We got right in around 8pm on a Friday night but it had a steady stream of business. We ordered the family house salad to start and it was huge. The salad was nice and fresh with cucumbers, mozz cheese, croutons, etc. and we got the house made balsamic dressing. For dinner we ordered a large diavolo carne pizza which is topped amazingly (salami, hot sausage, hot peppers, roasted garlic). I felt the crust was a little bland and dry but others in our party really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a great stop and pricing (everything has the tourist tax) was more reasonable than some others nearby. read more

Not going to lie, this place definitely smelled like little Italy the moment we stepped in. The staff was very helpful. The pizza came out hot and fresh. My friends last minute suggested this place and I'm glad walked in. My waitress was very accommodating. Thank you Karen! read more

What a hidden gem in a big place! Above average pizza (I think Dave P. puts this in the 7s for sure!) nice crisp, just a little flop on the end. Great sauce... nice atmosphere... server kinda disappeared after dropping off the pizza but I'll let it slide since we were a small party. Free parking. They do take reservations. Small kids menu on back page of regular menu. Would absolutely try again! read more

We were craving something a little different and heard good things about the pizza here. And it didn't disappoint at all! The pizza was tasty and had a sweetness to it. We just got a regular pepperoni and it was solid. We ordered the stuffed mushroom and stuffed pepper to start. Both were very delicious and didn't last long. Highly recommend this place. read more

5 out of 5!!! we came in the middle of the day, after seeing and walking around Niagara Falls. Our party of six was seated quickly. I would say that it was moderately busy. Our server came to us quickly, was ready to take our order, but we needed a little more time since we were going through all the pizza options. We ended up getting the O Canada and the Hawaiian pizza was so delicious! We also got a Italian style sub sandwich which we shared. We wanted to do it family style and the server brought out a calzone knife so that we could cut up the sub sandwich. Definitely a nice family, vibe, friendly atmosphere, great service, and in my book most importantly, fantastic food! They take care of the little things like getting us refills on our fountain drinks, bring us bread and butter, and a quick check-in to make sure the food was good. I feel they did it just right because they kind of left us to our conversation and we had a good time. This location has plenty of parking and is across the street from a lot of the other chain restaurants. You know it's a good place when the area around the restaurant smells like pizza! read more

We were in Niagara falls for the weekend and wanted a quick bite for dinner. We stopped into Zappi's on the walk back to the hotel... the place looked really cute from the outside. Upon entering, the line was out the door. Reservations waiting on their tables and longer than normal wait times for walk ins. We decided to order delivery to our hotel room... we had our food within 40 minutes! To my surprise, the pizza was fabulous... and I'm a total pizza snob! I ordered the works... round hand tossed wood for pizza with pepperoni, green olives, mushrooms and red roasted peppers. I was going to pick the mushrooms off since I'm not a fan (my brother is though) but I didn't have to. They were chopped small and were a small amount that I didn't notice the taste. I thought it was pricey when I ordered but then again, it's located in a touristy area and it was delicious so the price didn't bother me after considering how much I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place! (Sorry no pic of the whole pizza as we were starved and just dug in quickly! But here's a pic of a burnt slice saved for last... lol) read more

Hubby was craving pizza and Zappi's came recommended. We ordered the Diavolo carne pizza and the eggplant lasagna (basically typical eggplant parm) with a side of Caesar salad with anchovies. The pizza was Ok, the crust was crispy but dough was very dry, however the toppings were good and in abundance. The eggplant lasagna was really not that great, it was soggy and felt like I was having a tomato soup. No texture whatsoever. The Caesar salad had chopped pieces of anchovies, this was good. Overall, not the best Italian or pizza we've had. read more
