Came by for a work lunch and it was very good. Waitress was patient and attentive. She even dropped a few of the bruschetta by accident so instead of 5 we got 3 but didn't charge us for it. The garlic bread was very good as well. They had an all eggplant vegetable lasagna that was great as well. Would recommend. Didn't feel o rely heavy or bloated after the meal. Great food service. Restaurant was very cozy, lots of parking even though we took an Uber. Staff were pleasant and seated us to our rsvp pretty quickly. We got a nice booth for two of us. I ordered the Cannelloni, it was yummy but the actual size was too big. The bruschetta was not traditional because of the cheese but super yummy. Their spaghetti tomato sauce was also perfect accompanied by a side order of meatballs. I would recommend and come back again. Place is authentic Italian cuisine. read more

Enjoyed a great evening to celebrate our granddaughter's 16th birthday. Our waiter made a special mocktail from the bar which our granddaughter really enjoyed. Both my wife and I were interested in a couple of entrees not on the menu (spaghetti carbonara and chicken Parmesan) and the waiter and kitchen were very accommodating and served wonderful dishes. To start parking is horrible no room to move a vehicle into a parking spot. Food is pretty good way too much sauce on the pasta no complementary bread to help with the sauce. Family owned and operated since 1984. This is what you're looking for when you search "Italian near me." Reservations are a must but we lucked out mid-week and sat at the bar. Nancy was our server, she was great. We also enjoyed watching Luciana and her son in the kitchen from our bar seats. Not to mention Gino, my new Italian boyfriend from Rome.. Could've been a lot better. My wife and I were not impressed with Casa Mia. The cocktails were subpar and the food was comparable to an East Side Mario's. The bruschetta was tomato sauce smeared on sliced buns, with melted mozzarella on top, closely resembling a bagel bite. The three cheese gnocchi was grainy in texture with a very bland sauce. The spaghetti was alright, its hard to make a bad spaghetti and tomato sauce. Lastly, the dishes did not justify the prices they are charging. Being a foodie and travelling to Italy often, the food was not great. Casa Toscana in Grimbsy, Just Cooking in Vineland, or Valley Restaurant in St. Catharines are far better if Italian is what you are looking for. read more

Fortunately we made it through COVID to dine out once again and Casa Mia was ready to deliver on a fabulous experience. I'm Italian and don't normally venture out for Italian cuisine but I can't remember having a more outstanding meal at any restaurant. The decor was fresh, clean and high end. the server (son of the owner - only 20) made our night. Fun, friendly and caring for our acceptance. He even played 4 or 5 songs for us on the baby grand piano after our dinner service. The proud son of an authentic Italian family restaurant. And the food does not get more authentic than at Casa Mia. Nonna and her son cooking in the kitchen. Mom, dad and Dante, their son taking care of business up front. I thought I was in back in Italy. If you're going to throw money away at the nearby vineyards, this place offers 5 times more value. Run by a family who takes pride in their work and passion for food. A little off the beaten path from the tourist falls area, but this hidden gem is worth the short drive. All 6 of us who dined felt the same way. A memorable night at a spectacular Restaurant. I'll be back for sure!! Oh and one more thing... don't forget to ask about the daughter's bakery down the street. Very mediocre experience here last week. Service was really slow... it took an hour and a half to get our entree's. When the food finally came, veal was delicious. Two from our party ordered the fish special and they reported it was soggy and greasy, and neither finished it. As to the ambiance, we all thought the lighting was really unwelcoming. No sense of warmth or coziness, at least at our table. We felt this restaurant had really gone hill since the last time we were there, which was about three years ago. read more

I wanted so much to give them a 4 star review but every time I thought of something wrong, the staff remedied the situation so quickly that there was nothing to complain about. During our very romantic dinner for two, a group of 20 "woo girls", were seated behind us. I was pretty upset about how loud and obnoxious they were. (Note: no one cares about why your second husband left you Karen.") the staff got food in their mouths and drinks on the table quickly. We also noted the dimmed the lights and the music and the group quieted right down. The servers were outstanding. The food was all fresh made, in house. I had veal parm and my wife had duck linguini. She won. That duck was so incredible. My veal was fabulous as well, but hers was over the top. We finished with tiramisu and it rivaled that of what we ate in Rome last summer. This restaurant came recommended to me by a family friend who is in the restaurant business so I went into it with high expectations, but it fell a bit short. The atmosphere was more casual than I was expecting for the occasion. I expected more of a fine dining atmosphere, but there were people dressed in beach clothes there. Not a big deal, just not what I was expecting. The food was variable. The complimentary bread and stracciatella soup were good but nothing noteworthy. Then I had a salad, which had boring flavours and a balsamic dressing that was too acidic and tasted like it was made with cheap vinegar. Well, let me start by saying the best food we have had in Niagara yet. They provide a shuttle service to the restaurant which is great because it is out of the way (would not have gone otherwise). The ambiance was great and the server was fantastic. The food was fantastic! They also gave a complimentary taste of one of their soups. The pace for service was perfect. Went to Casa Mia during our honeymoon based on amazing Yelp reviews. The good - our "Tier" appetizer for two was amazing. Excellent presentation, tasty food, and lots of it. The decor was beautiful, although I was sad that the live piano music I had expected was not there (and on a Friday night during prime time). The homemade pasta in both our dishes was fantastic and fresh. The seafood in my Spaghetti Cartoccio was great, but the dish lacked any kind of sauce and was light on seasoning. I know it's sinful at a fine restaurant to wish for salt and pepper shakers, but I did. My companion's duck linguine was phenomenal. The bad - our Tier appetizer, which was mostly cold food, took over 30 minutes to arrive. This was after we waited 20 minutes to even order the appetizer. So 50 minutes from sitting down, our appetizer arrived. That's a lot of dead time. They brought out complimentary soup as an apology, but not having that kind of problem in the first place would have been better. It was difficult to get a refill on my water, and the server didn't check back after delivering our meals for a very long time. Overall, food that was great was undermined by poor service. I enjoyed my meal at Casa Mia, but there are probably other Italian restaurants in the Niagara area with food that is just as good, service that is at least serviceable, and far lower prices. I don't see the value proposition here at Casa Mia. read more

The waiter/bartender was pleasant and busy, but a little too pushy for my taste in terms of trying to get us to order more food. After receiving our food 90 mins later, I was not impressed.
