This is about in-store service and when called the customer service toll free number. An employee placed an order for me to be delivered to store (at my request) because they didn't have my size. Over 2 weeks later, order not received and tracking has stopped. I went to to store to request a refund and am told they can't help me and I would need to call their customer service (which was closed because their hours are EST but was still regular business hours on PST). The employee rips a small piece of receipt paper, writes the number, slides across the counter, and walks away. I called and rep was rude and unorganized. Sounded like he was asleep and fumbled with phone continously. He offered to ship another item and I advised I wanted a refund. He said he would process and would take 48 hours. I check my email and there's an email requesting I provide my banking institution information in order to receive a refund. Why?!?! I paid with my credit card so credit back my card! Went to try to call back and again they're closed, so I use the online chat function. A rep named Dylan advised me that the email was from Zara and inputting my bank institution information was the ONLY way to receive a refund. Zara, DO BETTER!!! Your price point is high and folks spend their money with you willingly. For you to make this such an arduous process to receive a refund on an item I NEVER received from you is absurd!!! The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the young lady in the dressing room on my last visit was very helpful and pleasant. read more

Not only do you have to pay $5 for shipping every single time you place an online order--no matter how much you spend (over $100 each time)--but when the 30 items I purchased went on sale the very next day, I was told I needed to return them and then go back to the store after 24 hours to hunt for the same items on the sales floor to get the prices adjusted. To make matters worse, one of the items I paid extra shipping for arrived damaged. I showed this to the cashier and explained that I still wanted the item because it is now sold out everywhere and there is no way to repurchase it. I was told I would need to drive to another Zara location to purchase it instead. When she checked and confirmed that it was completely sold out, I was told there was nothing they could do--no replacement, no price adjustment, not even honoring the current sale price. I didn't see a text message of my receipt and the purchase did not show up on my profile in the app so I was unsure when I bought it. The nice cashier stated it's been over 30 days and ended a manager. Manager came over and stated they would only offer an exchange. I asked about a store credit and transfer stated they don't do that. Instead of making an exception they chose to lose a customer. I ended up throwing the garment away there in the mall. Terrible exchange experience. There needs to be much more communication on the exchange process for this store! I bought a sweater online during Black Friday, but the collar seemed warped compared to the other I bought so I went in store to find one that was better to exchange it for. I told the cashier that I wanted to do an exchange and she scanned my e-receipt. To exchange you basically have to return the item and repurchase it, but when I went to repurchase it the item was now at full price and when I told the sales woman she asked if I bought it on Black Friday, which I said yes too and then she got frustrated and blamed me for not telling her before. I didn't realize I had to do that since I was doing an exchange and she scanned my e-receipt which should show the item and price that was being refunded! Then she said they no longer do price adjustments on items which is not something you can find anywhere on the order confirmation, check out, or exchange policy information on the Zara store. So I was forced into a return and could not get my item back. Customer service was so unhelpful and they didn't bother to try to correct the situation. It's completely unfair that I have to loose out on my item due to the sales person's error. They basically stole my sweater from me and my only other option is to pay double the sales price. They didn't offer and I store credit to make up the difference of the price, they just stared at me and said they can't price adjust the item I was EXCHANGING! This store is awful. read more

I rarely give reviews but I feel in this case I must speak up. The quality of Zara Clothing is TOP NOTCH! Did you know A LOT of celebs dress in Zara's clothes? Just a fun fact. I don't know about the reviews that have poor customer service. I have received exceptional customer service from the manager Andrew down to a few young ladies at the counter. Myranda and the fitting room ladies are so very nice and helpful. Now let's touch on the value of the clothes... yes a bit pricey but you get what you buy. If you want to shop at Walmart expect crappy service and crappy clothing. Walked away with a coat I purchased in a Zara bag. Walked Nextdoor to Uniqlo and security chased us claiming we stole the coat. Zero stars for customer service. Yesterday I purchased a pair of trousers, they said they would text me the reciept. I didn't get a text. I asked if I don't have the text will they be able to pull up my reciept with my phone number? The sales associate said yes it'll be in my account. Today I go back to exchange the trousers for a different size. I give my phone number to the sales associate 4x and she said there is no purchase of these trousers on my account and told me I have to call customer service. I said this is my account and I was just here yesterday. I asked her to try the number again she did and said there's nothing there and rudely told me again to call customer service for help. I told her that this is ridiculous that she's not allowing me to exchange the size. She asked me for my number once more (6th time) then said oh there it is. I said so you entered it wrong? She said no sometimes the system is slow. Ok so why didn't she wait those 5x before if she knew the system is slow? I asked her if they give paper receipts and she said No we don't do that anymore. I said so you don't provide paper receipts and your system has issues pulling up receipts so the customer can't make returns or exchanges and has to call customer service? She then proceeds to print out a receipt and handed it to me and condescendingly said thank you have a nice day. I said oh I thought you no longer print receipts? So you lied? This is a large and attractive store for both men and women's fashions:) The men's Zara store would be on the upper level. I've found the entire store very organized ...all of the clothing were color grouped and coded . It makes things easy for shoppers to find what we are looking for at ease . The other thing that I also liked very much about this store is that they would place matching blazers or coats near by the blouses or dresses you are shopping for ...even shoes and other small accessories....very coordinated in a great fashion sense :) Pricing is of course moderate to affordable. Will go back and check for occasional cute pieces here . I bought a really nice blazer today & it looks so gorgeous :) read more

First off let me start by saying I've probably spent about 5k in the last 6 months shopping here for self, husband, and son, and never really had an issue. Staff doesn't really attempt to help with shopping experience or finding things but none the less no problems. Today however I had the worse experience, and won't be going back. Have a funeral coming up and some stuff in my online cart wouldn't ship fast enough for myself and family. SO I went into the store to get in person. Got several options for a pant suit in separates (maybe 10 items or so) and instead of lugging them around just decided to ask if dressing room could hold them so I can exchange size on a couple and then buy the rest. The girl who helped me was very kind and said that they don't hold stuff up front as a policy but she would close the curtain to my dressing room with items and I could come get them when done. (Actual customer service) 10mins later come back with about 6 more items and some other girl put them back. When I explained to her and asked where she would have put them on "go back" rack so I could grab what was mine and checkout she was SO RUDE. She got so bratty and had a problem with me getting the things of the go back racks that were in my original room. She told me I was in her way and she needed the rack to work, I told her I wanted a manager and she told me to go get one, and I could leave the clothes shed "watch them" (no hold policy???) I told her no I wasn't leaving any clothes with her and she then told her coworker get a manager. The manager was kind explained policy which wasn't the problem. The problem was that little girls attitude and BEYOND RUDE interaction. FOR ONE- how are you going to penalize people buying large quantities of things, by making them hold it all. TWO- how are customers supposed to know your policy?! THREE- have some customer service skills in your retail staff that INTERACTS WITH CUSTOMERS ZARA CORP. Honestly I liked this store before today, it's big, the layouts pretty clean and this one little girl ruined my view on it. Then I started noticing ALL OF THE STAFF look miserable doing their job. They don't ask you how your shopping experience was at checkout and instead look miserable or talk amongst themselves. Didn't end up getting to find all that was put on rack and that's ok because I'd rather go elsewhere. Attn: Little fluffy haired girl with accent & massive mole thing on right side of the face, ADVICE: if you don't like your job get one you do like, I didn't force you to work there don't try to ruin my day with your misery. THIS STORE DESERVES NEGATIVE STARS! Date of visit: 01/13/2021 (TODAY) around 4:30 pm Date of the review: 01/13/2021 (TODAY) at 10:30 pm I was here today to do quite a bit of returns. 4 of them were Vinyl crossbody bags that I purchased for my daughter and her BFFs as gifts (NOT Xmas gifts). The bags and everything in this order were delivered TODAY at around noon when my daughter was still in her online class. As soon as she was done and after lunch (which was around 2 pm), I asked her to see if she liked the bag. The bag turned out to be too small for her. It was advertised as crossbody bag but she couldn't even put it pass her neck to wear it as crossbody. That's how small it was! So I had to return all 4 of them. Since I had time this afternoon, I decided to drive to Zara Arcadia with my husband (who helped me carried the boxes) and get this over with. Returns at Zara were handled at the register and there was long line, which I diligently waited in. When it was finally my turn, the lady who helped me was not the nicest. I gave her the whole box containing all 4 Vinyl bags as how it was delivered to me this morning. All the 4 bags were still placed nicely inside their individual dust bags. My daughter and I did NOT even take out the stuffing material inside the bag and of course we did not remove the tags. Everything was in the same condition as how I received them this morning. Then this employee ripped everything apart, removed the stuffing material from inside the bags and then showed me one of the bags, and claimed that there were smudges inside the bag and that the tag was missing and accused me of wearing the bag already before returning it and because of that, she couldn't receive the return and I had to purchase the bag. I was like WHAT THE HECK!!! You were the one who removed and ripped everything apart and now you're claiming that I wore the bag and forced me to purchase it????!!!! Are you kidding me?!?!?! I told her that I just received the merchandise and no one wore it to go anywhere. She said she was going to call her manager, which she did. I explained the same to the manager. If they were smart, it was actually quite easy for them to verify my statement. They could just look on their system and verify that the bags were only delivered today around noon. That was not rocket science! Instead the manager was acting like she was giving me a pardon for the 'huge crime' that I have committed and decided to make an exception and accept my return, and gave me a lecture about what to do if I were ever to receive a defective product in the future. I just wanted to get it over with, so I just said ok. DEAR STORE MANAGER, EVERYTHING I STATED ON THIS REVIEW IS SUBSTANTIATED AS I AM ATTACHING ALL THE PICS OF THE RECEIPTS AND PROOF OF DELIVERY AND THE TIME OF MY RETURN. PLEASE REVIEW YOUR VIDEO FOOTAGE AND YOU CAN SEE HOW YOUR EMPLOYEE PURPOSELY TRIED TO MAKE MY RETURNS LESS ACCEPTABLE BY REMOVING ALL THE SEAL AND ALL THE STUFFING INSIDE THE BAGS AND I'M NOT SURPRISED IF IN THE PROCESS SHE HAD "ACCIDENTALLY" REMOVED ONE OF THE TAGS.
