I'm the one get in line right behind the girls who just wrote the bad reviews after she took 40 minutes for pay.. I went there to return and yes !! After a decade to get in line because the manager have to dealing the problem with customers (honestly..she can't made it) ..they sent me downstairs because I paid my clothes by cash and they didn't have cash to pay me back when I return them even I gave them a option that they can give me a store credit but they don't have them either (they said they ran them out..) and they said I have to get back and get in line again?????? What the ffff???? Another 45 minutes to get returns??? If you there you can see the manager she did nothing except she goes around and acting like she is very important person or super model (but sorry she couldn't)... end up ,everything she can do is a lot of customers got mad Because they have stuck in the line soooo long for her shows ... it's the horrible system I ever see in my life read more

Zara has always been my favorite clothing store. Fresh, sharp designs that delivers my sense of fashion. I have never left this store empty handed, however my shopping always takes longer than usual because there is not much help on the floor. I have many friends that love Zara. I came here twice because they're displays had amazing outfits set up and once to buy a gift card. I've never had a good experience here. I'm BIG on customer service and cleanliness. They have a terrible staff that's rude, fake, and hidden. I can never get help, and when I do, I feel more confused and upset. I gave two stars because the prices are decent and the clothes are trendy. (Although they're low quality and poorly made). I might come back as a last resort. DO NOT BUY GIFTS AT ZARA!!! Sadly lost my favorite store today due to horrible customer service. After the associates said doing an online purchase exchange with receipt was impossible(from a Christmas gift) I was given the option to call their online number myself. Their response was what's done is done. What's done is done?! That's how you treat your customers?! I called their store experience team with the same result. They made no effort to resolve the situation. Not even an attempt to figure it out. My Christmas gift from my mother has now been credited to her bank card 2 hours away and I left the additional $100 dollars worth of merchandise at the counter after the terrible customer service. The year is 2018, allow your customers to do exchanges for online items w their receipt in store. The same items were on the shelf, what's the issue? And associates/managers work to find solutions with your customers instead of telling them to call 800 numbers while shopping. I had to exchange a gift bought online to Macy's after Christmas. They didn't have it in stock, they helped me order it, ship it for free and track it. I'll spend my money there next time. read more

I'm not the type to leave reviews left and right, as you can see I only leave them when I am truly passionate, either way, about a situation. I visited the store yesterday to do some back to school shopping for my son. When I was through shopping, like a person does, I stepped in front of the cash register (the universal sign for 'I'm ready to be checked out- or so I thought) and waited there while an associate was to the left of me rearranging clothes on the fixtures. I waited around 7 minutes (that's a while if you're waiting while an associate doesn't seem to be too busy to ring you up) until she finally asked me if I was ready to be checked out. I said yes and she proceeded to let me know that they were not taking cash at this specific register. I asked her where else I was supposed to check out and she said men's. I told her I wish she would have asked me earlier if I was ready to be checked out and she followed with, "I didn't know you were ready, I'm sorry." Well clearly, she didn't ask! Anyhow, I made my way to men's where there was a customer returning what seemed to be the whole entire store- go figure- with only one associate ringing up here as well. I waited another 10-12 minutes for her transaction with more than a couple associates around to help until I FINALLY got help. I didn't get a "Hi, how are you?" or an, "I apologize for the wait". I had no clue whether she even gave me my receipt or not because she said ZERO words to me. Is this how the store is usually run on weekends? Left the store in a full rage after waiting for 20 minutes only to find out that they wouldn't accept my return. Customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. My experience with Zara has been the most disappointing. Their quality is so poor but their prices are so expensive. I bought 2 shirts ($40 each) there and I just wore one shirt for not even an hour and the shirt was ruined. I went back to the store to return them and showed the manger the issue with the shirt, but they said they can't help me because I didn't have the recipe. I had date, time and location statement from my purchase through my bank and yet they could not approve that. No store credit. No return. Just change size or color of shirt. This is the most disappointing return policy and quality of product. Me personally I would never go back to Zara to buy anything. read more

I love Zara's clothing line and it's the first store I go to at the mall but their service leaves lot to be desired. There's always only one guy at the register with a long line. We received no welcome, no offer of help and when trying to return clothes that were unsuitable in the fitting room the assistant walked away from us! I was so excited to have a major store like Zara finally make its way to Roseville, but the selection just doesn't speak to me. Everything seems to be formal wear or extravagant (read: overpriced) outerwear that doesn't fit the warm weather we're experiencing. Sizing is out of whack, but that's a typical Zara thing. Employees aren't terribly helpful, and typically leave you be. I'm hoping as seasons change better merchandise can flow in. read more

I love Zara, but because of the customer service i wish there was an option for zero stars. You might as well not exist in there. The one nice lady that was ringing me up at the register, i could tell she was new. She was having so much trouble with everything (i really didn't mind that) and she asked her coworkers for help. The employees are pretty helpful. They might seem cliquey, but the girl went out her way to help me. I was looking at a specific dress with 4 different colors and she looked them up for me online. I'm the type of person who doesn't really need help when shopping, so I like that they didn't bother me at all. The curtains in the fitting rooms are pretty awkward that they don't fully close. I like going to Zara for when they have big sales. I went today and saw they had a lot of kid's apparel on sale and I was about to get a few items. They had about an hour left before closing and I went to the line. There was only about 4 people in front of me and it shouldn't take too long right? Nope I waited literally over 15 minutes. They only had 1 register open and I see other associates counting out their registers. Mind it that they still had 45 minutes before their store closes. After waiting over 15 minutes i literally dropped everything i was going to buy and left the store. Such a disappointment. How can you only have 1 register open and over 7 customers in line? I have always patronized Zara back home in the Philippines and I truly miss the excellent customer service I get there. I was surprised to the point of annoyance when I went to Zara in galleria. The staff were snobbish and didn't have that customer service feel. I hope management will look into this and train their people to become great staff. Customers who spend regardless of how much they buy should be treated with an excellent service. I know this mall is kind of affluent, but hey, like I said paying customers deserve excellent treatment. If the staff hate their job then pack your bags people. You work for a global brand, you don't own it. You don't have to like it, you have to manage it. It's your job! If you guys were doing well career wise then you won't be working and hating your job then throwing the unpleasant feeling to your paying customers! The clothes at Zara are absolutely adorable and affordable, and I often drive the 2 hours to SF to go shop there. Now I know there is a Zara store right in my backyard, but I'd rather sit in a car for 2 hours with 2 screaming children than go into the Roseville Zara and have my self esteem smashed into pieces! These employees are the rudest people I have ever encountered! When you walk into that store it's all about them (and their coworkers plans for the weekend) not you!!!! They treated me like I was a bother to them!!! They also treated me like I didn't belong in that store because I wasn't a size 2 and didn't carry a Louis Vuitton purse! I was looking to buy a suit all night, tried everywhere in the mall. I walked into Zara real quick to try something on. It was 8:55pm, they close at 9, I ran in there tried on this jacket, loved it, the matching pants I wanted to try on, to see if they fit and if they did, buy them. It was 9:01pm, 1 minute after they close. I asked if I could try them on, would have taken me 30 seconds and was gonna spend $200. They proceeded to tell me they closed a minute ago, and if I wanted to buy anything I needed to checkout now. I said I really just want to try on these pants and I will buy if they fit. They continued to say no we are closed. Mind you, it was 9:01pm.........after they kept saying no, I did get a little stern, and no budge. Customer service here was trash to say the least. They missed out on $200. Hopefully manager sees this and wakes them up. 7/30/18. Was a Hispanic girl, and a small white male. My 8 year old daughter and I stopped into this store today and found some very nice clothing for her. She needed to try them on and, after locating the kids' fitting room an employee told us it was full of stuff and unavailable. She suggested I take my daughter into the nearby men's fitting room. When I appeared shocked at this suggestion, she told me we could go downstairs to the ladies. No problems there and we proceeded back upstairs to pay for our items. The cashier in the kids section had a closed sign on it so we got in line in the men's department. Slow, one employee there and we stood there for a while, not moving, until another employee told us the kids cashier was open and had no line, so we happily moved. The closed sign was gone but the employee there was not behind the counter. There were other people waiting there as well. The line in men's was now longer so not going back there. The employee finally walked up, saw us waiting to pay, and indifferently said she was busy with a customer. A good employee would have apologized for the wait and called another person to help us. We spent a long time in that store and all I wanted to do was pay for our items and leave, but this girl was not only unhelpful but truly didn't care. I put my items on the counter in front of her, said I was leaving, got no apology nor request to help me. Terrible customer service. I have no desire to return. read more

Wanted so much to love Zara but like most retail these days they disappointed! GARBAGE clothing---item ripped at the seam after 20 mins of wear, took the item back to store and was told they do not return or refund on manufactures defects, called customer service and was told the same thing. I called the New York corporate office and tried to get an e-mail, phone number or put through to the CEO, COO, or any corporate level officer and was told their voicemail was not set up, they were not in and that they were not allowed to give out the e-mail address to contact such a person. I went into the Westfield Mall in Roseville, CA today, where they just recently opened up one of your stores. I was able to find a nice button down shirt and a pair of pants that looked really good. The price on the table showed 39.00 while the pants were priced at 29.00. The pants that I chose had a price tag of 17.90. When I went to the register they tried to charge me the 29.00. When I explained to the young lady at the register that in California you MUST honor the price that is on the item being sold. She called the manager and the manager told me "I do not have to honor that price." I then showed him the California Statute that states exactly that the then said "What if another customer came in and changed the tags on the clothes do I still need to honor them?" I then told him that is theoretical and this is real life. After a minute of him refusing to acknowledge facts he proceeded to rip the price off the tag and told me if I want to buy them I would have to pay full price or I can leave. I then demanded his employee ID # and his name which he refused to do. I immediately called Corporate and told them the situation during which the manager was getting even more hostile at me and walked away. I was told by Corporate that is is store policy to honor the price. The representative then called the store and explained to him what the policy was. When he came back up the stairs all he did was mumble under his breath and glared at me the entire time. I then requested to file a formal complaint again the store and the manager. Once I was finally able to pay for my items he glared at me and said "Hope you enjoy your 12 dollars." Which I then replied I hope you have a wonderful day. I have never been treated with such disrespect and hostility at any store in my entire life. I was humiliated and treated so poorly I will never shop at this store again. I can not imagine what their other stores are like but if its anything like the one at Westfield MalI can only imagine its not good. I was doing some major shopping at Zara, at their June Sale. I mostly buy kids clothing. In the past, it took a long time to check out. Their registers often glitch. This last time, I stood in line for over 20 minutes, and only 3 cash registers open, on a Saturday?!? On top of the long wait, there were flashing signs of the LGBT pride. I came into the store with the intention of buying their products, not to be indoctrinated. A clothing retailer should stick to selling clothes, not morals. Ordering for store delivery is a SCAM I ordered a dress for delivery to the Roseville Galleria store. After two weeks it still had not arrived so I went into the store to see if they could tell me when it would arrive. The sales clerk went into the back and said it wasn't there yet. A week later I called Zara customer service and told them that I needed them to just refund my purchase since I still hadn't received it and the event I needed it for was in a couple of days. They told me that they showed I picked it up! When I told them I had not, they asked me to send in a copy of my signature on my drivers license, which I did. I then got a call saying the signatures matched and I would not be getting a refund. The signatures absolutely could not have matched since I never signed anything. Someone in the Zara Roseville Galleria is signing for deliveries and taking them. Obviously I will never shop at Zara again. read more

This store has a great layout, but bizarre everything else. Their sizing is all over the place, sometimes I fit medium and sometimes I fit a extra small. What's up with that? Not to mention their prices are also all over the place. Some items are priced for the low price of 20 dollars, while others are over 200 dollars!! Their clothes also shrink very easily. I know people also complain about the lack of human interaction or acknowledgment from the employees, but I actually prefer to shop unhindered rather than hounded by workers all the time. I recommend shopping here, but only for the lower priced options since the clothes shrink so easily. Otherwise, not worth it! read more

Zara isn't known for their customer service in any country I've been to but that's not why I shop there. I love the designer look-a-likes at a way more affordable price. I will shop at this store any day compared to the stores in SF that are always crowded and out of stock in my sizes. Enjoy styles that Zara introduces that I can't find in other stores for the price. Prices are reasonable and quality is a lot better than h&m and forever 21. It doesn't bother me that employees don't really approach you. I actually enjoy it. I don't like to be bothered. When I asked for help they helped me out. Other than that they definitely should train their employees to greet customers. Not sure about their return policy. Recently went to this location to purchase some last min Xmas, and I have to say it was such a waste of time. The staff at this Zara location were rude and very unhelpful. I wanted to buy this coat blazer for my girlfriend and asked the sales associate if they had any in stock? I was told by him that there were 7 in stock and he was calling the back room to have them send down for me to buy. So I decided to tell him I'll be going up stairs to browse the men's department until they send the jacket out that way I could do a bit of shopping for myself. As I was about to check out I asked the guy in the front about the jacket and he gave a puzzled look on his face as I told him about t a women's jacket that was suppose to be sent up, of which it did not. He also gave me weird look sorta implying why are you buying a women's jacket type of attitude? "Is that a women wearing a men's jacket"? No you idiot it's a blazer for women's. I felt like the sales associate downstairs didn't even attempt to have anything sent up as to just push it aside. I went back downstairs to ask him where the jacket was so I can check out, but didn't seem as though he even called it in or had it sent down? He personally told me there were numerous of that item in the store and but can't find it and didn't bother trying to find it. I should of just ordered it online because dealing with these type of people is such a waste of time and makes your company look bad. read more

When I first discovered Zara I spent a ton of money there! Loved it so much I brought my sister there. She bought multiple clothing items. When she got home she noticed one of the shirts she bought had a hole in it. Realizing that it was a defect she took it back to the store and was told she could return it BY A MANAGER. Then came back when she had time to find something else (one day later) and was told by every manager she could not exchange it. She even spoke with the manager who remembered her and he said, "never mind, you can't return or exchange it." I called to get the corporate number and the manager asked, "why do you need it?" When I told him why I was told they couldn't give the number out. I googled the corporate number and was promised a follow up after they apologized profusely. Did I ever hear back? NOPE! I called corporate again to follow up and STILL never heard back. Zara could have had thousands of dollars from me for years to come as I would have gotten all my work clothes there but nope. They lost me, all my friends, and all my family. Hope the $25 piece of crap shirt was worth it, Zara. read more

Okay so I have a little bit of a shopping problem and I'm going to come here ALL the time because Jay and Jonathan did a HUGE favor helping me take advantage of that to spoil my boyfriend!!!! My boyfriend has very expensive taste and so do I, but he's so picky, so I talked to Jay because he looked like the kind of guy I'd flirt with at a bar for expensive drinks. I was right!! He helped guide me toward some very nice shirts for my boyfriend, and a GORGEOUS scarf that makes my boyfriend look SO New York. Jonathan was super nice too and I got some good opinions from him, but I actually made Jay carry all of my shirts to the counter for me and he did it and wasn't mad about it even though I was being bossy :) Too bad I don't get to control his paycheck because I'd give him a raise for dealing with my annoying self. I love this store tho, it's so nice and the materials are gorgeous. So unique and high quality. The store is clean and the employees are posh with excellent taste. Will be back there again. read more
