My Experience with Zara is that the quality is very poor. The design is excellent, but I swear the pants last maximum 10 cycles in the washing machine and then they rip. I live in Reno and drive over monthly I had a return all new tags attached but I was over the return policy by 3 days manager Eleanor was so beyond rude after I explained that with gas prices I can only afford to make the drive once a month to this location and this is the closest Zara to where I live I also explained since it's kids clothes I couldn't try anything on as there dressing rooms are closed and your not allowed to Try anything on that I wasn't aware until I got home what fit and what didn't I wouldn't mind if I was way over the limit but I was literally 4 days past the 30 days and it was 200 dollars I basically begged her to make an exception just once I understand stores have policies but there is lap human kindness she told me that she indeed could refund me if she wanted to but she didn't and I could take a store credit or leave she was immediately rude wouldn't listen to a word I said I felt like a child trying to explain myself the store is also a mess clothes everywhere nothing is hung in it's proper place and there are always 1 register opened on each floor and a huge line she lap told me next time but my stuff and either go to the mall bathroom or another store in the mall to try it on and then return why doesn't fit I have 5 kids that's to much work just to shop at one store I'll take my business elsewhere read more

9/18. I was overcharged $268.19 on one card and $506.22 on another card. Customer service is non existent. I don't think anyone reads the review from their corp. There computers were down On 9/18. They said they had to do multiple charges on the same card in smaller amounts. Still trying to get this fixed. This is ridiculous! I live far away from there store. You cannot get through to anyone! This will sound weird but I do love Zara! I shop there all the time and never had any issues with returning or exchanging sizes. I got some clothes for my friends teenager and she wanted to exchange it but misplaced the gift receipt. The manager on duty on Sunday November 14th told her that she can't give her store credit and I have to call customer service to get a new receipt, even though I have the purchase record on my credit card. I don't think the manager is aware of the Zara return policy which states that without receipt, with tags attached and unworn you can get store credit. Anyways, I love Zara so much that I tried to have other people try it even though my friend told me to get an amazon gift card for her daughters bday. I should have done that, this way this whole thing would have never happened. What is the moral of the story, do not buy anything for anyone as gift at Zara, they would have to go through same hassle and give you back the items so you would have to go back and exchange them.....this is really bad customer service!!! It's not the brand it's the store in Roseville, the manager there doesn't know what she's doing.....they should hire more qualified, helpful people that take the time to study the return policy and give better service. ZARA has been my go to for shopping for past 20 years. Before ZARA arrived in the US I'd go to Europe and come home with entire suitcases packed with affordable fashionable clothing for myself, family and friends. It literally was the highlight of my yearly trip to Paris!! Contrary to the previous reviews; I STRONGLY the believe the customer service is SPOT ON. The service they provide airs on the European side of things which I LOVE! This allows shoppers the opportunity to have a no pressure shopping or distraction experience (hence the clean blk/white logo and infamous blue bags). My Christmas comes every year when the winter sales starts and Santa delivers ZARA packages to my house for at least a month. I just had my 50th birthday and was showered with ZARA gift cards ZARA Thank you for keeping me fashionable. I can't wait to see what's coming out next!! read more

Went in to exchange a shirt I received as a gift. Not worn, Tags still on, in the bag. The receipt I had was for a different shirt purchased on the same card, the same day but was not for the shirt I had. They said they would only exchange for the same shirt in a different size, which is what I wanted. However, they didn't have my size. Can you order it? NO. So what options do I have? Sorry, Sir that's it. You can't track the transaction through the card, or the date purchased or the SKU? NO So I'm stuck with a shirt that I love but it doesn't fit? YES. i use to go to SF and its a must to go to ZARA for the unique clothing but with QUALITY . Yes it is pricy but so worth it and lasts quite a while . i also love the trendy styles but the compliments are well worth the money spent in here. . i can never leave without spending an arm and leg because i am addicted to the styles. . If i need to look fancy fancy, classy hippie, classy old rich man, young little tough teen, or just being casual but with a street feel wear, ZARA your my to go to place to check out. . Anyways back to this store review.... . there is 2 story - first floor is for the ladies and second floor is for the men and toddlers . my review for the mens - has a nice selection of suits, to pants for suits, and yes they have ties and hats if you want the whole gentlemen look. They have trendy street wear as well such as joggers or nice cut denim with holes and etc on the jeans if you like that kind of style. They also have some casual denim jeans without holes or rips and nice t shirts which varies each season and goes with a nice clean look. They have nice outerwear on display on mannequins to show you how it looks. . The fitting rooms - they don't have people standing there counting your items, so if you see an open one just go in. well maybe it was just that visit i was there because there wasn't a lot of sales. anyways always the best lighting for the abs to shine or them nice bright white smile. The fitting rooms always look better than other mirrors because of the lighting and a few selfies is always a must. Anyways clean and nice. . Zara's unique designs will not make up for their terrible customer service. I hope these reviews will help them revive the company because it used to be one of my favorites. The return policy makes room for no exception so don't get your card stolen. When the replacement comes with new numbers and they advise you to bring in the statement for proof, it is still not enough. Matching receipt, matching items, matching date and exact amount mean nothing. It's clear that they want to make it difficult to try clothes on ( long lines) and return because they are worried if you have too much time to think, you'll realize how much you are spending on such low quality clothing. I have shopped here since they opened and am appalled with what happened on 8/22/16. I shopped over the weekend and purchased $192 dollars worth of clothes. I went home and put them in the washer on cold water and when I took them out the clothing shrunk literally 3 sizes. I kept the original receipt and also all the tags and stickers. I went to the store and spoke with the manager about the incident. She told me she could do absolutely nothing. I said there was a default in the clothing because I never had this happen to me before. She told me there is really nothing she can do. I have never seen customer service like that before. So I am just out a $192? So I took it one step further and spoke to there customer service. They told me it's up to the manager to make the decision and they cannot do anything. So my question is does Zara know anything about customer service? I also forgot the staff still has the clothing I purchased that shrank three sizes. I was just looking to replace the items that shrank not even return the items. I am still waiting for an answer and am out a $192. I suggest that no one shop at Zara. Pretty elegant clothing for a reasonable price point, but your visual merchandising is really lacking. The only shoe displays are on the floor? Ok, fine. And the 4 pair you have shown are your only stock, why? One would think sales are important and if you are showing shoes, then stock your shoes. It's a pretty simple concept. Not only do I have to pick up every pair of shoes to check sizes, but they are basically on the floor, and nowhere to sit to try them on.... Cute if you're a yogi and can flex to the point your feet are behind your head, but not so much for the rest of us. Brilliant merchandising, Zara. I guess you don't want people with money to spend to shop there. The staff are cute..and by cute I mean ridiculous. Their behavior is though they are something like a Rodeo Drive boutique. For couple of weeks I tried to return items one time I came they closed their store at 4 with a hand written note-and next week I came(which is today) they said they changed their hours closing to 6 when the whole mall closes at 7. Hours are not updated online and they only have small paper inside the store that no one can see that apparently they have updated hours. They just make up their own hours. Ridiculous. Terrible customer service. I'd give them 0 stars if I could, to be honest. Didn't even tell customers or have a written sign that their credit card machine has been "down" and that ALL THEY TAKE IS CASH. And nowhere on the cashiers counter said that either. Oh, did I mention that while I was in the store for the hour, NONE of the sales or employees asked how I was doing or acknowledged my existence as a customer in the store. When the woman in front of me wanted to pay card too, she complained about the missing sign as well and the fact that she spent an hr in the store for her clothes. The blonde sales and the dark haired sales associate "claimed that the system JUST WENT DOWN" and that technology is not reliable at times. But did not apologize about the sign, only for the inconvenience. The blonde sales offered an ATM near the store and offered to hold the customer's clothes for her. When it got to my turn in line, they asked me if I'm paying cash or card. And having heard what happened to the lady in front of me, I was expecting them to apologize and offer me a chance to grab some cash. Luckily I didn't necessarily need my clothes at the moment because all they told me was that the system is down. And that's it. No apologies. No special offers to hold my clothes. Not going to bring race into the matter but this is indespicable. All Zaras have TERRIBLE customer service and when I told them that they " should really put a written sign to inform customers because that's just terrible customer service", they stared at me blankly and that's it. I walked away and threw my clothes on the table. And when I turned around, both sales associate carried along and continued their little "charade" with the next poor customer. Never coming back again. I've given Zara company the last chance since all of my experiences with this company are terrible. Do NOT come here. I was so disappointed with Zara! Initially I was happy to hear a store like Zara would be coming to Roseville, I've ordered quite a bit from them online. Their selection here was a total bummer. Everything was bland and overpriced. I found one simple dress that I liked but I ultimately decided I didn't want to spend $50 on something I could make myself with a bunch of flimsy fabric and minimal sewing skills. I didn't bother checking out what was upstairs, the downstairs part of the store was just boring. My sister checked it out and texted me "don't come up here, it's just boring clothes for kids" I might come in just to see if they improve the selection but if it doesn't get any better I hope they give this space to a better store. read more

Welcome to the Sacramento area Zara! This store is one of the better Zaras I have ever been to. The selection is great with many new items every week and great floor organization. I can spend hours here. The bottom floor houses women's clothes while the upstairs covers men and children. I have to say, I love the fact that this place is so well organized and not claustrophobic like some of the Bay area or L.A. stores. In terms of customer service, I have been to this Zara store 4 or 5 times since they opened and I have never experienced rude customer service as some folks have mentioned. In fact, they have been great! Yes some items are cheaper quality than others, but I stick to quality pieces and avoid the thin t-shirts and jewelry preferring their coats, scarves and shoes. read more

Whoa... just... wow. I bought a button up blouse and after just 3 hours of wearing it the main button came off and another became unthreaded. I tried to return the blouse and was told that I could not return it because the inside tag was taken off (I took it off because I obviously intended on keeping it AND it was like 6 inches long!!) Very disappointed in the return policy. I asked if I was able to return an item and was told it needed to be in store bought condition with tags attached. No one said anything about needing a receipt. Went to return today (bought items in a rush because I was going out of town and figured I'd return when I got home from my trip) and I wasn't able to return or exchange because I did not have a receipt. Don't buy anything unless you plan on keeping your receipt. I'm now stuck with a $90 dress I don't need and I called their customer service and they were not any help either. You can clearly see it's in perfect condition and not worn. Very upset. LOL - store closes at 9. I'm there at 8:30 - find some items I want for try on. It's 8:49 and I want to quickly try them on. Lazy store attendant puts out a rack in front of the fitting room to "close them". Seriously? Why is the store open then? I'm expected to buy things without trying them on then be subject to their return policy if they don't fit? Or maybe they don't care I buy things and just want to close the store extra quickly? The most recent experience from today...I was trying to return an item for which I had a copy of the receipt in my phone. "Sorry, we need a printed receipt". In this day and age, really? August 17, 2018. I needed to visit Zara for returns (online purchases that didn't work out), and maybe purchasing. The Westfield Galleria Roseville is swanky. Everything you didn't know you wanted is there. Except for an NYX cosmetics store. I excitedly entered the men's side, which was sexy, dark, and very GQ. Loved it...Zara kids section made me melt. Finally my section... I wasn't greeted but that is okay, because I was SO in the shopping zone. The staff was hard at work. I didn't catch the names of staff, so I will do my best to describe them... There was a beautiful chocolate male, I believe he is the floor manager or the lead? He was ON IT! Resolving small issues, answering questions nicely, and professionally. He really knows his stuff. The male blonde bombshell with the fitted grey suit, it's like he was the right hand. He is a multi tasker, retrieving online orders, restocking while nicely answering questions, even giving suggestions. They work VERY well together! I accidentally created a line with my return, the lovely young lady at the counter, (serving chic librarian), was so sweet, efficient, COOL, CALM, and collected, THE WHOLE TIME. She and Floor Manager thanked everyone for waiting. That being said... ZARA Headquarters if you are reading this... Please supply ZARA Westfield Galleria Roseville with BIGGER and BETTER merchandise. I was disappointed at what you are giving this location to work with. I just moved from the bay area and I know what this location CAN look like. I love the new store manager Lindsey, I've now had several encounters with her and she always goes above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of. Zara sold me a defective pair of underwear. Wore it for 2 hours and stitching came apart. Tried to return it that week with receipt but was told by the teenage angry manager that begrudgingly came out of the back office, that they have no way to "prove that you didn't cause this and that it's not manufacturing error". Their base of assumption is that the customer damages the product unless otherwise proven. They refused to refund or exchange and asserted that I had caused the issue. Tried to take a picture, but the manager freaked out. Called Customer Service for Zara and was told by the customer service department on the phone that that was their policy and that they were not allowed to give out contact information for anyone higher in the organization. Disputed the charge for the entire purchase with the credit card company. Visa can't get ahold of them either. read more

I went to get a refund for a shirt that had a frayed eyelet, completely unworn brand new shirt and the lady told me it had a "smokey smell to it" which is completely bogus as I'm not a smoker nor do I hangout with anyone who smokes. If they're that desperate to save a few pennies for their company to refuse to even exchange a shirt that had a physical flaw then they've lost my business. I absolutely love Zara. When I moved to the area, I was excited to be so close to a Zara location. This review is for the store, not the brand. When I first moved here, I went to Zara way to often than I should. The store is usually pretty organized unless there's a huge sale. The biggest concern I have with this store are the sales associates. They are extremely stuck up!! I can't believe the attitude they have towards customers. I rarely have someone come up to me to ask if I need anything. When I go to the fitting room, it's like I'm some sort of burden. When you walk in, they would say "you can go into any open fitting room," then walk away with their go backs or continue to talk to each other. I'm sorry, am I bothering you? Seriously, I absolutely cannot believe the attitude they have! Just because they work at Zara and they're wearing black blazers, does not give them the right to treat customers that way. I had to return to Zara's only because the staff forgot to take the security tag off and I do not live close to the store. I just wanted them to take the security tag off however, even though I had the original tag on and my original receipt with the SAME item number, they called the manager. She interrogated me with several questions on what I bought that day. I am a 63 year old woman who cannot even remember what I ate the day before! She also mouthed to the co-worker that they did not charge me for the item. It was CLEAR I did not steal this item as it matched my receipt. The manager was very unprofessional and didn't conduct any kind of customer service. I was skeptical to buy anything but since I found another gift I purchased it. I'm hesitant to ever buy from the Roseville Zara anymore because of the service from these 2 individuals. It's sad to see how the ones they are attempting to catch that steal, are better actors/actresses and get away with it but not to treat others in an interrogated and low class way.
