Zara's is an absolute hidden gem tucked away in Humble. I happened on this amazing place after visiting the grocery store next door (also amazing, but that's another review). I love doing fun spa treats, so I went in to see what I could do. I got my eyebrows tinted. They came out fabulous. I had the facial massage, too. The facial massage is a 20 minute piece of Heaven for $10. It's so relaxing and feels so good. The next time: brows, facial massage, facial scrub, eyebrows threaded. The threading was perfection. I took my best friend in another time and we had so much fun. I've been another time: eyebrows tinted, threaded, facial stuff. Then the lady that usually helped me did henna on my arm. It was beautiful. I'd always wanted to do it, and I'm so glad I did!!!!! The service is always quick and the ladies are incredibly sweet and friendly. It's not super fancy or anything- think, your favorite brow place on Harwin, but right next door after you've moved to Humble. When you go, pick up some samosas from next door. This place isn't what it used to be. The staff doesn't care anymore, rushes the service, and refuses to use sanitation when requested. There's a new place nearby called Luxe Brow & Beauty that's much better. read more

Be careful - they add a tip already to their posted menu prices and then they ask you for another tip at checkout. Really a scam pricing place. And they won't give an itemized receipt because they know they increase prices at checkout. No point paying cash either because they ASSUME you are giving them a $2 tip so they add that into their change back. Really a horrible pricing business. I went in to get my brows "cleaned up" she didn't map them and went to threading straight away. Her's were thick and shapely. By the time she finished my brows were over "plucked" and I had been transported back to the 90's. Not only were they overdone they weren't even either. When I walked in the lady was having a conversation on her cellphone. She pointed to the chair when I walked in and continued talking on the phone while she shaped my eyebrows. I asked her to just shape my eyebrows and she just shook her head but I could hear the person she was talking to continue talking. There was not a pause in her conversation. I felt she took too much off and one side was uneven. When she was done her handed me the mirror, still in her conversation on the cellphone, walked to the desk and took my payment. The only time she spoke to me was when she said, "thank you, have a nice holiday." Someone else had walked in and was sitting in the chair when I left. The lady was still having her conversation when I left the shop. I'm looking for a better place to have my eyebrows done. To me giving your customer your undivided attention to is very important. Obviously not at Zara's Spa and Brow Bar. read more

Your face is a hard thing to trust people with. Your eyebrows can be especially tough. When I moved to Humble I searched for a threading salon for months. I noticed when this spot was being built inside HEB. However I wasn't sure that I wanted to switch from where I was currently going. Which happened to be still all the way back in Pearland. Then one day I just couldn't make it back down there and I remembered the salon inside HEB and I thought it might have finally been opened by that time so I stopped in. I was so pleased and thankful that I didn't have to go all the way back to Pearland that I've been there for almost five years now. Wow. I just calculated that. That's crazy. I moved to the north side two years ago and I still drive back over there to get my brows done. That's the kind of love I have. read more

I rushed over after work, get here at 645pm and they've already closed up. If your sign says 7pm, you should stay open until 7pm. Last time I came on Sunday and they posted new hours for now closed on Sunday and now this. I've only gotten my eyebrows done here once and have tried twice now to come back but I need a reliable one who will be open when they say they will....so guess I'll go elsewhere. read more

Come here all the time.. Today walked in at 6:45, to only one person working which has been normal(don't know why) in the past there were always 2 ladies. Anyways, walked in at 6:45 to be told they were closed. There was a lady in the chair, 1 lady waiting and was told I wouldn't be accepted because she would did not want to be here past 7. Zara's brow bar is conveniently inside HEB right next to the beltway. There wasn't a wait time for me. There was just one person working, so I think I just got lucky. This was my first time here and I was nervous. I'm used to one particular person working on my eyebrows, but for convenience I decided to go to someone new. I asked the lady to clean up my eyebrows...I didnt want it to be too thin. Decades after the uncontrollable middle school brow plucking...I'm still trying to heal my brows! I didn't quite feel the love like I normally do with my go-to lady, but I was willing to see past that. This is our first meeting after all. I took a look at my eyebrows after the clean up and immediately thought, "It's too thin!!!" I could see my eyebrow tanlines!! The shape is definitely nice. It's symmetrical and very clean. It's just a HAIR too thin. When I got home I filled them in with my brow pencil since most of it got wiped off. They actually look pretty good...shape-wise. I'm just not used to seeing them in this size. And I think most people would disagree with me if I asked if they were too thin, but I guess it's just personal preference. Pricing...it was 10$ + tip. That's a little more expensive than most of the places I've been. It's usually like 7 or 8$. I'm giving it 3 stars because the lady went a tad overboard with the cleaning and it was more expensive than most places. read more

I live on the northeast side of town. There aren't many places to choose from out here so I try to go to Aisha's on the west side but I was in a bit of a time crunch this weekend. I googled some places near me and found this little gem. I was wary of going to a place located inside of a grocery store but I was desperate. I figured I would give it a chance. I am so happy I did! I love this brow bar. I am extremely picky with my brows and have taken a lot of time to grow them out and shape them just how I want. When my brow tech from another salon moved away a few months ago, I was devastated. I searched high and low for the next best person and I am very grateful to have come across Zara's. They are friendly and CONSISTENT. Consistent being the key word because we all know how other brow places can be great one time and then ruin our brows on the next visit. Not at Zara's though. They are located inside H-e-b and her prices are incredibly reasonable. I usually walk out of there paying $13 which includes tip. read more

I've been coming here for threading ever since they opened. I love the fact that it's conveniently located inside of HEB, so it saves an extra trip. I would say it's a tad pricier than other places I've been to in the past, but those places have been in the southwest area-areas saturated with other Indian places and people. I usually never let anyone do my brows but I decided to try them out since I live in the area. I went to Zaras Brow Bar yesterday for the first time. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I had been looking at it every time I shop at HEB. I went for it, and I love my brows. The lady was very professional, and asked me what shape did I want. They have photos on the wall. I picked my shape and she did it just like the picture. This was my fist time having the threading. Much better than waxing I must say. A little weird at first, but very clean and neat. Definitely going back. read more

I love threading, I've never had a bad experience with it. The ladies here do a great job. I don't mind the price, eyebrows are too important to be a cheapskate. I will say that when you sell beauty it is important to have good presentation on your person and establishment, this is something they could improve on. read more

I usually come here to do my eyebrows and never have a problem but this time one of the ladies was kind of rude. 1st when she told me to put my hand on my face she yanked my hand to place on the right place. 2nd she was very rough on my face , I know it hurts little but not to the point where I have stop her to get a break like 3 times. 3rd she did them to her liking not mine I had to tell her two times to fix them. I'll go back but won't let her touch my eyebrows again it'll be the other lady who takes care of my younger sister. You can tell she's very gentle as takes her time. read more
