From booking to communications after, the whole process was so easy. When we arrived, we were provided a space to securely leave our clothes and belongings, given comfy robes (which were more than large enough to accommodate us), and taken to our therapy room. The full body scrub and mud mask we received left us feeling cleaner than ever before. The therapists very excitedly showed us how much dead skin was coming off our bodies. While my wife's therapist was a trainee who wasn't as vigorous with her scrubbing as mine was, both were still very thorough and attentive to every inch of our skin. When they say your skin will glow after, they don't lie! Our skin looked and felt great after about a 90 minute session. The delicious baklava and tea after the session was a nice way to enjoy a moment more of calm together before we left. This facility is entirely service based, meaning there are no lounge spaces like hot tubs, pools, steam rooms, etc. All the same, this was a great experience to have before our special day.

I booked a couples massage and a Brazilian wax during my visit. I want to be fair in this review…read morebecause the massage was genuinely amazing. It was relaxing, calm, and the pressure was actually perfect for the tightness in my back. Me and my partner really enjoyed that part of the experience. The wax service is where I had a different experience. I'm used to getting waxed regularly and haven't had issues in the past. I booked a Brazilian wax, and while the technician was nice, the service didn't go well for me personally. She went over the same areas multiple times, and it got to the point where my skin became very irritated. In one area, the wax caused my skin to lift and I did bleed, which has never happened to me before. She mentioned I may be sensitive, which I understand, but even so, I've never experienced that level of irritation or skin being pulled before. I also still had patches of hair left afterward, so I didn't feel the service was fully completed the way I expected. She did discount $10 from the service, but I still left feeling like the experience wasn't what I paid for or expected. The place itself is nice and the staff were polite, and I don't want this to come off as bashing anyone. I'm just sharing my personal experience so others are aware. Overall, I would return for the massage, but I personally would not get the waxing service again.

With any booking you are granted access to the premises from 8am to 7pm. It's better to go early during the week because they say it gets busy on the weekends. I honestly went on Monday and I'm thankful that I did. Things that are complimentary are: access to lockers, showers, steam room, jacuzzi, cooling pool, and out jacuzzis. Plus there are lounging spots upstairs where the massages take place. They also give complimentary tea, coffee, fruit, cookies, and trail mix. Plus refreshing infused water. I pre booked a 50 min trellis massage. Kendal gave the best massage I ever had, I swear! Although I will say there is definitely discrepancy with time as they add in them walking you to the room, pre conversation, undressing, all of that into it. So ultimately it can vary from 35-40 mins which is a bit meh for the cost of $200 + 23% mandatory gratuity (not including tip). I most definitely would come back for another massage with Kendal. Yet if you're coming solo bring headphones because sometimes there will be couples or groups talking in the inside cooling pool area and it can sound quite loud since it's closed in.

The services themselves were excellent. Unfortunately, as we were leaving, I realized I had accidentally left my charm bracelets in the left pocket of my robe. I immediately drove back to the spa, hoping they could be recovered. I was told the laundry had already been taken to another area of the spa and that I would have to wait. Security and several staff members were made aware that my jewelry was missing. Since then, I have been the one calling every day to check for updates. No one has reached out to me proactively, and each time I'm simply told that nothing has been found. What has been most disappointing is the lack of communication, urgency, and empathy throughout this process. While I understand that forgetting my jewelry was my mistake, I expected much better customer service from a luxury spa. No one has offered any form of compensation, refund, or even a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience and stress this situation has caused. I hope Trellis Spa takes situations like this more seriously in the future by improving communication and showing greater care for guests when issues arise. Great service isn't just about the treatments --it's also about how customers are treated when something goes wrong.

Make sure to take the key with you because when you check in, the staff gives you a bracelet in exchange for the key. Don't forget to wear this bracelet everywhere you go in the facility. It serves as the key to your main locker, and you also use it to pay for services and food. I highly recommend purchasing your admission ticket through Groupon because I was able to save about $10. Also, be sure to book any services you want a few days in advance. After checking in at the front desk, I stored all of my items in the locker room. You don't need to bring your wallet with you because, again, you pay for everything using your bracelet. I booked the Scrub Plus service, and it was amazing! It has been several days, and my skin is still very soft and supple. For this service, you will need to soak in the bath for about 30 minutes beforehand. After the scrub, I changed into the spa uniform provided and explored the facility. They offer a variety of sauna rooms, and my favorite was the Yellow Ocher Clay Room. I also ended up ordering tteokbokki and sikhye at the food court. The food is a little pricey, but it was delicious. Overall, I had an enjoyable birthday at Spa World. I will definitely be coming back!
