    Fried White Cheddar Cheese Bites
    Theresa M.

I decided to dine-in today and am glad I did! The two staff working were very welcoming. The young cashier was very nice, friendly, helpful, and very mannerly! I got the Zax Snack, and it was very good. The tenders were kind of small but came out hot and tasty. I really enjoyed the hot sauce with them and with the fries. The fries are seasoned nicely but could have been hotter. The toast was crispy and tasty, as well. The soda machine has plenty of choices to choose from and they have unsweet and sweet tea, too. The cherry Dr. Pepper hit the spot today! If you're in the area, Check Them Out! PS I had the salad and cheese curds awhile ago, and I enjoyed them, as well :0)

I really wanted to like these egg rolls. However they were burnt. I reached out to management and nothing was done. The peach tea is delicious. That was the only thing I enjoyed

Zaxbys has a decent salad. The vinaigrette was amazing! Love they have the Coca-Cola freestyle machine with many zero sugar options to choose from.

My oldest had a basketball tournament in Virginia and he's never tried Zaxby's. So we decided to stop in for lunch before checking into our hotel. This location was pretty clean and the customer service was great. The chicken tenders tasted very good, were fried well but lacked flavor. Seems as though they didn't season them at all. The Texas toast was good and the fries were some of the best I've had in a fast food restaurant. All in all it was a meal that satisfied our hunger but nothing to rave about. Hopefully they put a Zaxbys in Baltimore so we can have it more frequently.

Wings and things traditional & original sauce

It's a HIT OR MISS with this location. Our go to order are the Wings N Things with original as the sauce. More frequently than not, our wings are served CRUNCHY YET ... barely any sauce... well maybe like the 2 pieces on the bottom but the rest on the top seems to only get sprayed with a mist of sauce. The toast doesn't get that much tlc with the butter either . Here and there some of the chicken tenders would be too small/thin making it dry.Hmp .... On good days, the chicken would still be super hot& crunchy lathered with sauce, the fries would be fresh out the fryer barely making it way back to the house. Now we've been to this location much more than I've remembered to check in and I've also been to a whole lot of other locations to distinguish if it's a hit or miss. This is our go to location, but if it's not for the convenience, we'd consider the other options. Overall, I'd recommend the Wings N Things (original) so you get the best of both worlds and the fried mushrooms (which I LOVE btw, but I could be bias since i love mushrooms regardless hehe) Also I'll definitely be asking for extra sauce on my wings next time as my way of "problem solving" the dry chicken dilemma

My experiences here aren't too bad usually but today I went through the drive thru and for one the girl on the speaker already sounded like she had an attitude but food came out quick, wasn't a wait time at all. I sat in my car eating my food then suddenly found something in my chicken, i honestly don't know what it was but the manager was nice and gave me my money back. So customer service wasn't bad, just wouldn't come to this zaxbys for chicken tenders because whatever that was didn't look edible.

    Chicken Finger Sandwich Meal $5.99

Living in Virginia, I had heard of Zaxby's but never visited until yesterday. My youngest son and I decided to check it out since his best friend told him that Zaxby's is the bomb. My expectations were low, so keep that in mind. Zaxby's was started by Zach McLeroy and Tony Townley back in 1990. They were high school pals in Georgia, and created the name and concept. Zaxby's is a franchised chain of fast food (FF) that offers chicken wings, chicken fingers, sandwiches and salads. There are currently over 600 locations throughout the Southeastern United States. Spicy Fried Mushrooms: Fried Mushrooms are not something you normally see at a FF restaurant. Being a huge mushroom fan, I had to order those. And they were awesome! The batter was crispy, and the 'shrooms were perfectly done. The "spicy" part was the sauce that came with it. There wasn't a ton of flavor on the mushrooms until you dip those suckers in the sauce. Yum! 4* Chicken Finger Plate: Coleslaw- This was pretty bad. I took one bite and it reminded me of why I hated coleslaw as a kid. All I tasted was one-note--cabbage. 1* Texas Toast- Dry as a bone, no moisture, and no flavor. 1* Crinkle Fries- These were quite good with some seasoning on them, and the perfect amount of crispy to soft ratio. 3.5* Chicken Fingers- Their chicken is what it's all about: moist, flavorful, white breast meat. When you combine them with their Zax Sauce, they're even better. I didn't realize that they have 15 different sauces. Next time I will definitely check those out. 4* Ambiance and Service: The first thing I noticed was the décor. From the exterior of the building to the dining room, I dig this place! It felt more like a sit-down type of restaurant except that you do order at the counter. I think there was a lot of thought put into the décor at Zaxby's--they want their customers to feel comfortable and have a unique FF experience. I was extremely impressed with their customer service. After all, this was a FF restaurant. The service was extremely friendly, courteous, and the food was prepared and presented perfectly. 4.5* Value: I thought the prices were decent and comparable to Chick-fil-A. However, I would skip the Chicken Finger Plate since the slaw and toast were lacking, and it didn't come with a drink. 3.5* Overall, I was impressed with Zaxby's and I will definitely return. It's good to know that I have another chain restaurant on my list for when I'm traveling. Customer service always gets high points from me and Zaxby's is absolutely an above-average FF chain. 3.5*

Very Clean. Fast service. Great layout of dining room. Comfortable booths and tables. Menu suited for extremely active young people. You need a supercharged metabolism to consume this food. My fellow diner described it as "Ballpark/sports stadium food." Fast, fried, small portions and a little overpriced because it is convenient. The. Menu included salads but they are similar to the garden/lettuce salads in 7 Eleven. They look very fresh and are well presented with different toppings available. Once you add the toppings I wonder if they are any better for you than the sandwiches. The brownie offered for dessert was palatable but no real taste to it. Similar to one of the Little Debbie treats in a box at the grocery store. Worth a try because it is new.

Boneless combo with original buttery buffalo sauce.

So out of the blue one day my mom says that she wanted to go here because she heard it was really good. I've been hearing about Zaxby's myself so I said why not. One 30 minute drive with my mom and brother later and we're there. The inside was a little cluttered but it was busy and I'm not one to criticize fast food workers, because I know they have to put up with a lot on top of working hard. The lady who took out order was very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful when it came to answering all our question's and we had a lot. I ordered the 5 piece boneless combo with the original buttery buffalo sauce, celery and french fries, and upgraded my cup to the "chickenflauge" souvenir size (I still use it to pour my drinks in haha). My mom got a ranchero chicken "zalad" with a banana pudding milkshake, and my brother got a cajun chicken sandwich and a birthday cake milkshake. All in all we all agreed that the food was tasty and the service was friendly; however, neither was special enough to keep us going 30 minutes out of our way. I'm sure my family and I would go to Zaxby's more if they built one closer to us. If you're in the Chesapeake square area and need a quick bite to eat (and aren't too picky) I'd say give it try.

This one is hard for me. Typically I can form an opinion swiftly. I struggle because it was nothing special. There was nothing that stood out to me except the horrible fries. Other than that, it's just chicken. To me the "buffalo sauce" was not buffalo. It just tasted like butter, disappointing. My wife enjoyed her mustard wings but that sauce was not happening for me. Would I eat there again? Maybe to try something different but I definitely wouldn't pick it.

We found the cafe on yelp and we were impressed. We arrived and the place was very nice. Wonderful sports bar vibe. TV's and a nice bar However, not only was the atmosphere boring; the service was scarce. The waitress was nice. But she was more interested in having conversation with the guy at the bar. Serving us. I'm normally not big on giving reviews. But something is off here. Maybe the manager needs to be on duty. But it was obvious that we were not really a priority. We had a party of 4. We initially got the food for the first 2 people first. Then about 10 minutes later the other food came out. We ordered cheap stuff on the menu because initially we got a bad vibe. Like we didn't want to spend $17 on a meal when it seemed like it might not be worth it I'm glad we went cheap.... But maybe not. Our bill for for 4 people with one appetizer and 4 mediocre apps was $98. I can't honestly recommend anyone going here until they get up to par. And also the waitress didn't charge me for a beer and 2 drinks and a fry. I honestly think she saw the bill at over a hundred dollars and maybe was like " let my back some things off to make it under $100." I can't obviously confirm this. Honestly, if you want a beer or a drink; definitely stop through. But if you want to eat and have a family meal; don't go here The waitress was nice but barely checked on us because she was busy having conversations with the people at the bar. Not impressed and won't go here again. Unless I want a drink This place has potential. They just need someone on duty that can guide them. It was obvious that was the missing part. They have tons of potential.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon after church and ordered the chicken salad sandwich (Freemason). Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. When the weather's nice, I always try to grab a seat on the patio. It's such a relaxing spot to enjoy a good meal and soak up a little sunshine. Also, I have to shout out their potato salad is one of the best around. Creamy, just the right amount of seasoning, and always hits the spot. Based on visits over the past 5 years, which have been spaced further and further apart, I was hesitant. And my hesitancy proved to have been warranted. Husband's Northender on Multi grain My Princess Anne also on multi grain. Bread was so dry and stale that I simply struggled to eat the filling. The tomatoes were that hard, white inner core that most people would not feature on a sandwich. Finally in frustration I walked up and asked for a slice of baguette, which was the main meal's only redemption. Let's not even talk about what has become barely a step up from snack pack desserts. Both my (Bakehouse--oh my gosh, are they kidding?) gold brownie and my husband's blueberry mishmash had one bite from them before they too went straight into the trash. (Both tasted more of chemical, than of food) Sadly, what used to be one of our favorite weekly visits pre-Covid, has become less than lackluster, and far from its name. Rather it should be renamed yet again, from the original, Taste Unlimited, to Taste and now should be called, Tasteless. For the price of $50, one would think the meal would at least be edible. Hopefully this review will help me remember why we stopped going. Definitely do not recommend.
