I went to the drive through the inside is not open. Some of the food was fresh some wasn't. How can you get cold food? I guess they don't care what they serve you. The fries and chicken tenders was fresh the wings was cold as ice. I just said I'm not visiting again unless I can go in and get my food. I guess good help is hard to find. Don't eat here. The chicken fingers were super flavorful for a fast food variety and the whole meal was hot and fresh. It was our first time at Zaxby's as we're from Northern Illinois and we love it! Our complaint was the cleanliness of the facility. The floors were greasy and tables had debri from previous patrons. I went through on a Sunday afternoon around 4:30pm. There was no line in the drive thru like there usually is and only 1 car in the parking lot. I kinda thought they were closed, but they weren't. The girl that took my order was quite patient with me since I hardly ever go there I had no idea what I wanted to order. I finally figured it out and ordered a chicken finger sandwich which came with fries and my son a kiddie fingers meal. My meal was the perfect size not too much food but not too little either. I was full but not miserable. My sandwich was a little hard to eat, the fingers kept wanting to fall off which isn't a big deal it's what I ordered. My sons meal was 2 chicken fingers and some fries with a packet of curious George gummies which I think is sooo much better than the cheap useless toys that normally come with a kids combo other places. I paid close to $10 for the 2 of us to eat which I think is more than reasonable. We both got full and our meals came with drinks. I definitely recommend this location! It was a cheap and easy meal for my family and it was of higher quality than McDonald's. read more

The Zaxby's locations in Clarksville really do an amazing job of taking care of their customers. The employees are always friendly and helpful with menu selection. Any time there are questions managers are readily available to assist. The owner, Tim O'Brien, is a military veteran, a great guy that is very present in the community, and takes pride in his stores being clean and efficient. At all three stores I have received quality food and service. Of course each store is different with a variety of employees but they have each taken the time to listen to concerns (if there were any). They have a great "order ahead" online service where you skip the line and everything is packaged well and ready on time!! Group and large catering orders have been nothing but smooth every time I have used these services (which is often)! While they have so many great choices - their salads are the BEST around - in my opinion :) read more

Ok. I LOVE ZAXBYS!!! I have never ever gotten anything bad here. I've been a loyal customer since the one on 42A opened. My girls and I used to frequent it at least once a week. My kids all love it too. They eat there at least once a week. Better then chick filet A , which is good, but zaxbys is better because ... Wings ... love their tongue torch bone in wings French fries. Always served hot and Chrispy and even if you them home, still taste good. I don't know why but I can't eat a Luke warm waffle fry, yuck!! Onion rings .. seriously gotta try these!! Zalads. Their salads are my favorite out of my house salad. Favorite being the house , with Fried , no cheese and their low cal vinaigrette!! Holy Mother of... that's a good salad. Hearty and filling. And the Texas toast ?? Get you some !! Their fresh chips ?? Oh shut up!!! With the best BBQ SAUCE IN THE WHOLE WORLD. don't get the ranch. Get the bbq!! Tangy and spicy. Just enough of both. I am old-school Zaxby's - back in the day in Augusta, GA I used to sit in the Zaxby's drive through for over an hour waiting for our order to be freshly made (behind 3-4 other cars). I always brought a book or a friend because the wait was always worth it. I feel like this has gone down a bit in quality over the years as it got bigger. This particular Zaxby's seemed to be very busy. They are one of the best chicken finger joints in town. However, they managed to run out of ice in the drink machine - they had the capability to fill it up, but I am guessing they were too busy to check. It caused a huge line at the drink machine. Things tamed down after they refilled the machine though. They also got my order wrong, but they corrected it promptly. The staff was polite, cheerful and helpful. Today was the second time in a month we've had lunch there & it was so cold in there that some guest cane in & left. My friend asked if they could shut the ac off or at least turn the ceiling fans off & we were told no because of the water condensation and the water on the floor. Made no sense!! Not Too Shabby for Fast Food. Zaxby's has and likely will be one of my go to places for fast food. While I enjoy a local restaurant and enjoy trying new things, Zaxby's has always had a legit meal vibe to it close to that of a sit down restaurant. This location in particular has been visited by me a good half a dozen times and never an issue. The employees NEVER mess up your order and I believe everything I've ordered here has been "Indescribably Good" as Zaxby's claims. Based on my experiences, the Kickin' Chicken Sandwich is the way to go, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The meals can be slightly messy, but don't stress, because Zaxby's has plenty of Moist Towelettes if you just ask. Also, the signs and other stuff on the walls keeps your interest while you wait, which is usually only about five minutes. There is only one thing I recommend you don't do, and this is get your food to go. Just take the time to sit down and indulge a bit. And most importantly, the chicken is always delicious. THE GOOD: -Inside area is nice and fairly well kept. -Easy to get to and plenty of parking if you need it. -Fair amount of options on the menu, also one of the few places in town that does wings via the drive thru. THE BAD: -Quality is sloppy. Do you like a ton of condiments on a chicken sandwich? Or chicken tenders where it taste like it was not cooked long enough to not make it floppy? Fries are also under seasoned and dull. -Menu would occasionally not have the correct price on some things, but this was a year or so ago that this particular bad thing happened. -Portion sizes have been cut. I remember getting a huge quantity of onion rings before, and now I barely get any. -Pricey. Not a cheap place to eat. Overall....Eh. I will give them another chance sometime. read more
