Went to the Cliffdale location to get a grilled chicken zalad today. Today they had someone taking orders, and she was very polite and lovely. For context, there were 2 vehicles at the window and myself, and one pulled up as I was ordering, not busy. I pulled up to the window and was immediately handed my bag. I added bacon bits to my zalad, which is nothing new as they have had a Cobb zalad for a while. When I got my order I checked it as I have in the past ordered the Cobb zalad and not received my bacon I checked to make sure it was on the zalad. My bacon was whole, there is no reason I should pay the extra money for bacon bits and get a whole strip of bacon, unless they're extremely busy. This is just laziness. This is not the first time I've had an issue with this location. I did ask the girl taking orders as I left if they no longer offer bacon bits and she said no they just cut it up, I did ask why I got just a strip of bacon and she had no idea. As it was lunch time I did not have time to go inside or back around to the drive thru. Plus I don't trust people remaking food anymore, I've heard too many horror stories. After reading previous reviews, there have been other issues at this location regarding bacon bits. I may give this location another try, but think I'll stick to the Ramsey and Walter Gibson locations. read more

Decided I wanted some French fries, so pulled up to the Zaxbys drive through and was welcomed by such a sweet lady that took my order. Decided instead of just the fries to get their zaxbys signature sandwich meal that came with fries and a drink. The fries had a light dusting of seasoning salt which made each warm bite pop. I saved the sandwich for later, but it was just as good warmed up as well. It definitely needed some extra zaxbys sauce. I would not recommend the peach fizz, there was not any flavor to it especially peach. Stick to the sandwich and fries. read more

Apparently the lack of attention to detail also extends to the general manager as my review is clearly listed on the Cliffdale Rd location....not the Walter Reed one. And btw, my mother went back up to that same location over a week later and got another Cobb salad and she made sure to check it before she left and yet again it still had no bacon on it. So if you were really concerned with the satisfaction of each and every one of your customers you would have immediately had the issue resolved instead of it being brought to your attention and doing absolutely nothing. I have no need to have the issue resolved, I just want everyone else to have an opportunity to avoid a bad experience if they so choose. Update: The general manager deleted their original comment where they didn't even take the time to get the store location right and reposted an exact copy (minus updating the store location) of their original post. For anyone thinking that I'm just nitpicking, notice how they still failed to address the actual issue and instead decided the best course of action was to just repeat what they had already said? Bought this brownie on 11:24, which says it should have been thrown away on 11/22. If they're selling things that are clearly marked indicating it should be discarded it really makes you wonder what else they're doing. In general this location is fairly slow and the food isn't consistent. On this visit my toast tasted like it was made from stale bread and Now I can add they gave me an old brownie. Still miss Raising Canes, but this place isn't too bad. Their Zax sauce is pretty good, but the tenders are small and their special seasoning is ridiculously salty and has old bay seasoning in it. We normally go to the Zaxby's by Cameron and we loved it but we went shopping at tractor supply across the road and decided to do a quick lunch here in this place let's start with very unfriendly customer service. All the empty tables were dirty . The small ice machine was out of order so I have to make the long line for the red coke machine you know the fancy one The red coke machine was overflowing with ice due to the fact you push the control for ice and it dispenses about two cups of ice. The order took a while but it was ok. Food order was wrong even after I show my ticket to the guy passing out the orders. We sat for about 45 minutes eating our meal and no a single employee came around to clean the dirty tables. I know each Zaxby's is independently operated but come on, simple basic rules apply to all. I normally don't ask for military discount but today I did and I was told "we only do it in specific days of the the week and today is not one of those day" and the girl taking my order could not tell me what day they do it. It made me mad knowing the Zaxby's by Cameron do the military discount everyday and the employee even told us about it. In short save your hard earned money and your valuable time and go somewhere else. We love Zaxby's but we are not coming to this one that's for sure. Why leave a review for Zaxby's you say? Cause this location has been just that disappointing. They are down the street from my parents so it's convenient. This place is always busy. Unfortunately, the sacrifice quality for speed. The food must be cooked ahead of time and waiting for you. Been here multiple times and nothing is ever hot/fresh. I order on the app for convenience. Funny part is my order is never done when I arrive so I wait for it. You would think that would mean hot food right? It hasn't been sitting there waiting for me. Huh? No luck. Luke warm at best. The time before this visit I added fried mushrooms to my order upon arrival. Pre-order came out. I knew I'd have to wait so I didn't expect that to remain too warm. Fried mushrooms came out shortly after. They were crunchy and literally cold. It's like they had been sitting there under a "heat lamp." No signs of fresh oil. Just disgusting. I always say you pay for convenience and I don't mind doing it. Usually it's an up charge. I've learned my lesson. After saying it multiple visits, this time is definitely my last time at this location. I don't play when it comes to my food. If that means I want Zaxby's in Fayetteville, looks like I will be driving further to get it. read more

Love Zaxby's, but this location needs to better train their staff. Sometimes the chicken is burnt or the bread stale. They constantly forget to add the salad dressing packet, or else put in the wrong one. They also forget to put forks or napkins in as well. We have to count the meals and drinks too, as we've been shorted before. C'mon people, this is basic stuff! Fix these issues. read more

My husband and I eat at Zaxby's once per week usually. The drive-thru is a 30 minute or more wait - EVERY time, no matter what time of day you arrive. We know this, but we like the food. Tonight, my husband waited 40 minutes in the drive thru. He brought my Cobb salad home and when I opened it - I had tiny pieces of chicken breading chopped up in the salad. No actual pieces of chicken. I went back to the store and the young lady that helped me apologized and made a new salad. She did speak to the two guys in the back that were responsible and they both laughed. They literally thought this was funny. Yes, your employees can ruin your restaurant. Moreover, poor management is generally the issue. Good luck finding someone who can manage this place more effectively. I do appreciate the young lady who apologized and made things right. Two trips for a $10 salad is never going to happen again. read more

I love the dinning area itself clean and well designed. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I have never had a problem with any of the food I ordered. On my last visit my husband ordered his salad with no tomatoes or onions, sadly this was also applied to my salad as well, so somewhere communication broke down. Not a fan of the way they have the doors marked for the Covid pandemic. I've been stopping by here now and then for lunch since they opened. This location has lots of turn over in employees due to bad customer service, employees smoking in the parking lot and texting while at counter or so called cleaning the dinning room. Food is pretty good as it comes from Sysco services, this time everything was hot when I picked it up, ice did not work on the coke freestyle machine and there was not labeling on the ice tea cans to let you know if it was sweet or unsweetened.. the girl behind the counter did a great job and kept checking up on us... for her service and hot food I give it 3 stars.... read more
