This is my second time having Zaxby's and was hoping that this would be a saving grace from the last time I had it. Unfortunately it was not. We ordered the wings & things box with a chicken sandwich and everything was subpar. On top of that, there was such a long wait time. We saw everyone else get their food before us, while we continued to wait. They also got our order wrong; we had said traditional wings, but they gave us boneless wings. We had called to let them know and they just said we ordered the boneless wings. so a long wait + inconsiderate service + subpar food, all for $26, not worth at all.. still dissapointed. read more

I was very pleased with Zaxby's. I knew they were a standard chicken place but I thought their chicken sandwich was particularly well-made and had the perfect blend of sauce to it. I was also really pleased with how big the medium drink was and that they still used styrofoam. I drank it slowly and my ice stayed frozen for a few hours. Service was good. Did not have to wait long for my food. It's good and clean. I had not been before and it will not be my first choice.

I ordered the House Salad with grilled chicken. It was much bigger than I expected it to be and the chicken tasted great. It came with their delicious Texas toast, which is always a win! I chose the lite ranch dressing, but would probably go with a different dressing if I had the salad again. The service was extremely quick and friendly! Todays Lunch, was at this local Zaxby's restaurant. I had ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich combo meal, and my Brother ordered the Signature Breaded Chicken Sandwich. The Grilled Chicken itself was huge. I tried a Grilled Chicken Sandwich from Culver's a couple of months ago, and I was so displeased. With that said, I've been hesitant to purchase a fast-food Grilled Sandwich outside of Chick Fil-A again. This was my first time ever ordering any sandwich from Zaxby's. Boy, I'm glad that I did!! It was packed with flavor, blending deliciously with the Potato Bun and Veggies. I was absolutely stuffed when I was done eating. The Fries and Soft Drink were delicious too. For me? Drinking a Diet Dr. Pepper with a Chicken Meal is part of the 10-Commandments. When he pulled the Breaded Chicken Sandwich out of the wrapper, I was shocked. I had my standards set as Popeye's having the biggest and baddest fast-food Chicken Sandwich ever. Now? I think Zaxby's has broken the record, in my opinion. It was so thick, juicy, crispy, fresh, and huge. For the price you pay, it's definitely worth it. Aside from the food, the facility is squeaky clean. The bathrooms were also flawless. 3.5 I have been hearing a lot of buzz on this place so I decided to try it. I think zaxby is consider one of the higher end fast food restaurant based on it's prices. I order the big Texas #1 with sweet and spicy sauce. I will say that one thing I enjoyed it this place is that they have a variety of homemade sauces which I am always a fan. I think the chicken strips were well done, crispy golden brown which I loved. I also enjoyed the garlic bread. I was not fond of the fries at all. It seemed like they just dumped seasoning right on top no mixing or anything. I want to go and try another zaxby place and order something different to write a better review. read more

Let me start of by saying that I rarely review a franchise because service and quality can differ from one to the other. However, I will make an exception in this case. I love Zaxby's toast, chicken and sauces. I am glad that they finally brought the franchise up to Indy. This specific location is not known for outstanding customer service and I have personally experienced some of its subpar service. The food is good, but as some have mentioned comes out a bit cool. Like I said, I love Zaxby's good and if the customer service was decent this place could easily get at least 4 stars. 12/7 8pm: This use to be one of my favorite places. I asked to wait for fresh fries since the last couple visits they have been anything but that. Nope, still lukewarm heat lamp fries. The chicken was an acceptable temperature but three of the pieces had good size sections of gristle. Your neighbors over at Culver's and Chick-fil-a get these basics correct every time. I went through the drive thru yesterday and the woman who helped me was not wearing a mask. I get that the governor dropped the mask mandate and I am not here to have any debate on that, but there is something VERY unsettling about someone handling your food not having a mask on. There is a lot of trust put into restaurants and their safety standards during this whole thing and it seriously calls into question that safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen. I ended up just tossing my food because I just felt I couldn't trust it. Disappointed and won't be returning. This was my first and last trip to Zaxby's. While the staff was great, the chicken was horrible! Even though the food looked fine, the chicken tasted badly burnt like the oil or something in the oil was burnt. And we live just far enough away that it was not an option to take it back as we had a hungry grandson and needed to get him something quickly. I used to love Zaxby's, but the service has declined the last few times I've visited several different locations. For my most recent experience, I was pleasantly surprised with the service. I drove off feeling refreshed that perhaps they had implemented better customer service trainings or even new employees. Then I got home, unloaded my children and went to eat my salad. It was definitely not the salad I ordered. I ordered a Cobb salad, no tomato, extra chicken. I'm happy to say, I did receive the extra chicken, but my salad did not have any bacon or egg. It also had extra tomatoes. Making me unable to eat my $10 salad. I live more than 20 minutes from this location, so loading up two small children, in the freezing temperatures to drive 20 minutes was absolutely not an option. With so many other options in the area, I will definitely choose to spend my time and money elsewhere. read more

Zaxby's chicken fingers and toast are absolutely tasty! Especially when paired with the famous Zax sauce. However after numerous visits I am disappointed with the lack of customer service that I've experienced a few times at one particular location. Each time that I enter I wait at the counter for someone to help me ,then never greeted. I give a polite hello, then I always have to ask if they are ready to take my order . The food gets 5 stars. But the customer service gets a 2. This woman in particular, named Marie F, was very rude and unfriendly. She didn't offer to take our order and just stood and stared at us expecting us to know when we were able to place it. After I stated what I wanted she just replied, "is that all". No up-sale, no sauce offered, nothing. Just pathetic with a pathetic attitude! I assumed she was annoyed because it was busy at the time and she didn't want to take all of our orders. 6 people walked in at the same time, me include. And the worse part is I believe she may be a manager! I've managed in fast food before and I know it can get hectic and annoyingly busy. But never did I show my frustration to the customer. So I've been here twice trying out a new eating place in Greenwood. My first experience was not good. I got my food through drive through and got the wrong order. When I went inside to exchange, they said they didn't ring me up. When I told them they did, they replied yea but we hit wrong button and need to do again. So had to go back out to my vehicle to get my wallet, come back in to finish transaction. So I decided to give them a 2nd chance and had to wait over 15 mins in the drive-through. The good news is, that both times the food was pretty good. I've gotten the teriyaki and the sweet and spicy wings and both times they were delicious. I've also gotten the cheese nuggets, coleslaw, and the fried mushrooms and all were very good. So hopefully they improve on their customer service and they might have me as a customer again. read more

Not sure why such a low rating. Love Zaxby's. Been to several and this one, being brand new, is just as good, if not better, than the others. Staff is very friendly and accurate in order taking. Our food was delivered to us hot and fresh and quickly. Chicken is wonderful here as well as the sauces. I personally like the Zax Sauce but the sweet and spicy signature sauce is awesome too. I also like the Nuclear, but it's a whopper. Has Habanero pepper in it. Overall, it was a great dinner and I'm glad we finally have one near us now!! read more

I have had Zaxby's before in the south somewhere and I feel like it was way better. We stopped in for a quick bite. The place looks brand new but it was empty at 12:30 on a Friday. We placed our order, took a number and took a seat. Our order came up and I brought it back the table and started to dig in. Decided to give zaxbys a try today because I wanted to try something new. But what I didn't want was the side of hair that I found in my food, which I can only presume came from the young lady up front running the register. Other than her less than pleasant customer service she continually scratched her hair until it was clear that she didn't have just a dry scalp this poor young girl was wearing a weave or fake hair to those who don't know. It's Not her fault it's managements fault and no not the manager on duty. I am talking about whoever the operations manager for not making her wear either a hair net or some sort of protective hair liner. Needless to say zaxbys offer great food but it's clear the weave needs to leave if you don't want your customers having a furry dining experience. read more
