Two stars instead of one because the food is actually decent. I have a free star for conveniently located and USUALLY fairly clean. But the employees that work there are downright ridiculous and they care more about their social life with one another than the customer. I would've Soum at least 50% of the employees here need to go. Finally after months and months of this location closed for inside dining we were able to go inside to sit, relax and hopefully eat fresh food...BUT...so disappointed with the quality of our order. First off, we had minimal issues with the order staff (I believe she was new) so we give her a pass. We ordered 5 piece boneless wings with tongue torch combo and the Asian Zensation Zalad with fried chicken. We have ordered those two items many times before but this time the boneless chicken pieces were literally swimming in a full bath of the sauce not just coated in the sauce as usual. The fries were limp and the bread slice was partially soaked in the sauce from the overflowing section of the container section that the chicken pieces were swimming in...yuck. The salad was slightly better but not the same Asian Zensation Zalad as it once was. The portion amount was smaller, the greens were not very fresh and the egg roll was disgusting...what the heck was inside that thing? Wasn't greeted when we came in. The drink station was covered in sticky residue. My husband spilled his tea and he went up and told them at the counter as well as the fact that about ten tables around us were dirty and greasy. Had to wait a few minutes for someone to come clean one for us, even though we were one of two customers. The man came out, wiped off one table for us, walked right by the spill, and walked away. No other tables were cleaned for over twenty minutes but someone was out sweeping trash in the parking lot. On the plus side, the food was pretty good. I think this is a good fast food restaurant. I really enjoy the chicken strips. The chicken strips are seasoned well. They are tender and juicy. The French fries are nothing special. They are just regular fries with seasoning. The sauce that they offer is good as well. The customer service is average. I have eaten here twice because I like the chicken strips that much. read more

Past few times I have went this this Zaxby's there is always something wrong with the order. Last two times I have had to drive through the drive thru twice because they can't ever get their orders right. Horrible experience every single time. Drive thru time is typically 15-20 minutes, ALWAYS out of something, and usually forget at least one thing in my order. Visited on a Thursday night. It took over 30 minutes to get a salad and some wings. This Zaxbys is always dirty every time we go but this time, it was absolutely disgusting. The drink area was filthy, there was no ketchup or napkins, the tea was empty, and the freestyle machine was out of most of the flavors. We notice that the freestyle here never seems to have all flavors of drinks available. We tried to speak with the manager on duty about having to wait over 30 minutes for our food, how dirty the tables and floor were in the dining room, and about the empty drink machine flavors - she gets rude and says, "what am I supposed to do about it? Don't you see we're busy?" There were only four people in the entire restaurant including us (they ordered before us and were still waiting for their food) and two cars in the drive-thru. Zaxby's food is pretty good, mainly for the sauce. The customer service is hot or cold at this location- it just depends on who is there. What bothers me about this location is it ALWAYS has the stickiest floors. It is so gross. I have asked why and was told that 'spilled sweet tea is sticky'. I was disappointed at lunch today. My brioche bun was definitely not brioche but a soggy hamburger bun which made the entire sandwich taste gross. I'm giving it 3 stars though because the sandwich we had the other day on Texas Toast was great! I honestly don't even know where to start. We live nearby this Zaxby's location so we've been there often. Every time we go something always goes wrong. Wrong order, no straws, wrong drink, missing items, etc. The employees are consistently rude and disrespectful. This last visit takes the cake. When ordering something simple off the menu that we've ordered many times the woman did not understand what I was asking for and rudely said just drive around to the window. When at the window I was told what I wanted wasn't an option on the register but yet it was on the menu. So they had to charge me for each individual nibbler at $1.59 instead of the set of three for $3.99. Which we've ordered these nibblers plenty of times to know that there is a freaking key on the register. The manager and employee were very rude and it was obvious that they were saying nasty things while I was getting my money back. Too bad the service is so horrible because the food is actually pretty good. read more

Going on a 45 minute wait (and counting) for dine in. It is not crowded at all but as I look around, it appears that my table is not the only one. The drink station is extremely messy and the ice/water machine has no ice at all in it. This location seems to be very poorly managed and/or under-staffed. I feel for the 2 employees that are trying to cover everything but this is inexcusable. It is close to home but I highly doubt I'll be back and would not recommend to others. read more

Ate inside on a Sunday at 1:00 pm. Not busy when we ordered our food. We waited on our food to go up in the window for ELEVEN minutes. I saw it placed in the window so I walked up to the pickup area. The cashier was taking someone's order so I waited patiently for her to finish to give us our food. Another guest came in and instead of quickly handing me our food she continued to take their order and the next person that walked in as well. While she was taking orders TWO other Zaxby's employees walked by the window where my food was sitting and both looked at it but did nothing. Finally, I became tired of waiting and told the cashier that I would like my food from the window. She handed my the tray after I had been waiting for 13 minutes for her to notice that it was there. BOTH orders were incorrectly made. I told her this and she said, "No that's how you ordered them" I handed her the receipt I still had in my hand to show her and even pointed out that the chicken finger sandwich is never made on Texas toast but always on a bun which she eye rolled and said "how would you know? Do you work here?" I told her "No, but this is the exact order I get at every Zaxby's" Instead of remaking the sandwich, the line cook handed her a bun through the window and the cashier handed it to me and said, "Happy?" When I finally got back to my table it had been 33 minutes since we placed our order and our food was cold. Worst experience I've ever had at a Zaxby's. We've been to this location about 4 times, and have never had an issue. Grand opening day was a bit slow, and the food was just ok, but it seems like the flavor issue has been worked out and everything is delicious! Not sure what all the complaints are about since we have never had an issue with an order, but maybe it's because we only use the drive through? My husband and I purchased two buffalo blue salads to go today on the way home from church. When we started eating them at home, I discovered a large plastic piece in my salad, which appeared to be some sort of lid. When I called the store to speak with the manager, she stated she could not give us a refund, but would put us on a "VIP" list for a free salad in the future. When I asked why she could not give us a refund instead, she said, "We don't do that here." She did not seem surprised nor bothered about the problem, which is troubling. We've come here two nights in a row well before closing time and everything is already shut down and staff makes you feel extremely unwanted. The first night we stood at the register for at least 5 minutes with the cashier not saying anything and then told us they were closed even though it was before their posted closing time. The second night they were still very rude when we came in. A friend of an employee was there and they were loudly talking about how it was closing time (it wasn't) and then they gave us our dine in order as a to go order. I've been going to Zaxbys for 20+ years. I was pretty excited to see one opening just a few miles from home...until i waited 20 minutes between ordering and getting to the drive thru window. I know these things happen, but no apology was given, the food was cold and we actually had to hand some of it back as it was incorrect.
