Whenever traveling, I get excited for Zaxby's and we usually stop to eat at one on the road. This location was a little bit off the highway and so busy! The drive thru line was wrapped around the building, but we were able to find a spot to park. Once we parked, I went inside to order and waited in line for a few minutes. There were multiple people waiting and I didn't know which line was which until another customer let me know where to order. It was complete chaos inside. When I did get to the register to order, the lady taking the orders was clearly just not in the mood to work and seemed a bit stressed out. I didn't even bother to ask for any special requests so I just kept our orders simple and paid. I don't think she made eye contact with me and when she handed me the receipt she didn't really say anything to me either. I had to remind her to give me 2 of the cups for our drinks. The drink fountain had a line of people and some of the drinks were out/flavors were out too. Oh well. I just grabbed a Dr. P and a Coke and hung back to wait for the food order. After about 15 minutes of waiting, they called my name and left the bag on the counter alongside a few other bags. I am glad I watched him put my bag down because had I not seen it, I would not have known which bag was mine. Again, it was just chaos inside. I can say that the chicken sandwich I ordered was good and fresh. The fries were really over seasoned so I could not eat many of them. Oh, and I was disappointed that I did not have any Zaby's sauce for the sandwich because I did ask for at least 1. I just did not want to go back inside and be a bother. read more

First we pull in from the highway with our RV because they claim to have parking for a bus. Yeah that's a pass cause a dirt road on the side surely doesn't count. Then I walk in to place order, told the employee I wanted no toast and instead of coleslaw extra fries. After the total for a 6 piece & a 3 piece was over $32 you would think they could get the order correct. Went to Zaxby's we hadn't been there in a while. Order two wings and things with the torch sauce my husband gets at home because he didn't look at it at the restaurant there is no sauce on the wings no celery, the smallest chicken wings, and the smallest chicken strips I've ever seen a very small portion of fries, normally I could eat this for a couple days. I almost finished it. So my husband call Zaxby's to tell them and he said oh we're so sorry if you come back tomorrow, we can give you another meal to fix that. Just asked for Ray the manager. He goes there today. He said oh no we looked at our cameras and we seen him put sauce on it how the Frick do you see the cameras how do you know that it was our food? They just lost us. We used to go there regularly but they are going downhill fast like most of the restaurants here in Lake City. I went into Zaxbys to pick up my mobile order, and was told they need to see proof, No big deal. I went back in and the person who looked at my order was the manager. I told him that I selected a small drink and they were giving me milk. I told him that I ordered a different drink and he said " ok what am I supposed to do about it?" If I could give 0 stars or negitive stars I would. I placed a CURBSIDE order on the app Thursday night about 550pm. I got an email saying it'll be ready at 630pm, and to click the link to check in when I arrive. I arrived at about 615-625. I checked in and waited. Waited. Waited. The drive thru girl stuck her head out multiple times made eye contact multiple times. And still waited. At about 645 -650 I went inside and asked where my food was. The manager literally point on the counter and said it's right there. I was like how long has it been there? I did pick curbside. And he says we'll the tablet is acting up. And I was like okay but your drive thru girl seen my car shouldn't that have been a signal to check? No not at all. He claims to have remade our food in less than 5 mins. Which I don't think happened because it takes longer than that to cook it initially. Don't go here. Save time. Manager is a jerk and the workers clearly hate life. read more

Wow!!! We received our food within minutes! It was steaming hot and delicious. Very impressed for someone who doesn't eat fast food.

Don't bother with online ordering. They don't allow you to enter the building to pick up your order, I had to wait in the drive through line that wrapped around the whole building. Went here for lunch today while visiting my mom in Lake City. Line was wrapped around the building for the drive thru. It moved surprisingly fast. I ordered the Zaxby's Zax family pack. It was very good. 20 chicken strips, fries, 4 pieces of bread, and 4 sauces. Alot of food for 25.00. We had a great lunch. They are not open. Travelers find the Zaxby's in Live Oak, it is worth the drive. When traveling and after being in the car for hours you just need to stretch your legs, go to the restroom and wash your hand before you eat. Well can't do that here. They are using Covid to hurt their business (they are franchise) so they can milk the government of "our" tax dollars. Live Oak, FL location has the dinning room open and was super friendly. read more

My daughter had a tournament in lake city close to Zaxby's so we decided to eat here and the service was very good and the employees where very nice and helpful , we will come back ! I think their chicken is even better than the "other" chicken place in town, but it comes at a calorie price. For example the boneless wings or the Zaxby's club sandwich are both awesome, but very high calorie. Anyways, if you need a quick lunch or consistent place to fill the belly up, Zaxby's rarely will disappoint you. Once in a rare moment, you might even get a free mint with your food. read more

I've always enjoyed this regional chain of restaurants. They start with great chicken tenders that are fried fresh and are so juicy and tender. It's so freshly made that you usually have to wait a couple of minutes for the French fries and chicken to cool off. Even when the parking lot and every booth is full and the drive through is wrapped all the way around they're still fast. My best description of Zaxby's is that you can get a restaurant(like Chili's, Applebee's etc) quality Chicken Sandwich or Salad at a fast food speed and price. read more

This is the worst Zaxbys ever! We have tried coming here on three different occasions over the last two years and every single time we are met with disrespectful attitudes and mistakes on our order with no apologies or care when it's brought to their attention. Customer service is subpar. I provided the cashier with my Zaxby's app to scan for rewards and her response was "Iont even know what this is." My dad and I stopped to grab food yesterday, and thought this Zaxby's deserved some recognition. The food was fresh, hot, and very appetizing. The bread wasn't soggy or burnt. The bread was just right. The service was quick, and great. The orders were correct, and we got the extra sauces we asked for. If we are considering fresh, fast, accurate, clean, courteous, and darn good food~ I will pit Zaxby's against any other comparable restaurant in the tri~county area. We go there 2 or even 3 times a month. Line full of cars~ no matter. They are fast! And they are CONSISTENT. The food is always HOT, fresh and EXACTLY like I order it. Needs more options for sides and menu items for vegetarians. As a local store, the staff isn't too friendly/welcoming nor are they rude though, you can tell they're just working for a paycheck and waiting til their shift ends. Only complaint I got as a restaurant structure wise is that the drink area stays messy, and it's very apparent they do not have a dedicated person that's only job is cleaning up the store/lobby area & that's very much needed here read more
