Finally tried Zaxbys and it was really good . Their customer service is on point as well. The dining area was so clean and we were served so fast . The manager was asking how we were and if we needed anything to just ask. The chicken was cooked to perfection ton and I live there fries. I like that they do have a variety of sides as well to choose from. We definitely will be back in the near future .
Service gets this place a 4star but the chicken is not really impressive. I heard Zaxby's is better than Raising Cane's so I came to find that out. We got the wings and tenders. I got two orders which they were able to fulfill. The sauces were okay. Nothing spectacular... the tenders were a bit too greasy for me! The wings were typical. Ambiance is casual.
Everyone was hyping this place up and I had to give it a try. Zaxbys, I can definitely live without. The food tasted like it was under the heat lamp. Lacking in flavor and seasoning. The food was edible, but wouldn't be my first choice for chicken tenders. I gave this place a try, but probably wouldn't come back. Freshness: 2/5 Flavor: 0/5 Dipping Sauce: 2/5
Yelp Review 2025 #141: There was excitement over the opening of Zaxbys - a chain fast food joint popular in the South. I've never heard of Zaxbys before to be honest so, I had no clue to what to expect. I've heard mixed reviews from people from Georgia and people that have been. This location is tiny. It shares space with Sonic, Brake Masters and Panda Express. Not too far from here is Raising Cane's - the competition. Ignoring everyone's opinions including Yelp reviews, I finally tried this place. And honestly, I was not impressed - not because it's fast food but because I wasted my calories over something that wasn't good for a cheat meal. I even did my research to see what I should get. I'm not getting a salad at a fast food place. I don't feel like eating chicken wings. Went to the drive thru with my mind made up. Big Zax Snack Meal: 3 hand-breaded chicken fingers with Zax sauce. Served with Texas toast, crinkle fries, and a drink. The fries were well-seasoned but they were cold. The Texas toast was cold and chewy. The chicken tenders were so tiny and I don't remember getting a kids meal! Not to mention salty. The Zax sauce was peppery and salty. 1/5 Zaxbys Spicy Signature Sandwich: Hand-breaded chicken fillet, dill pickle slices, and spicy Zax sauce on a toasted potato bun. Served with crinkle fries and drink. There was no spiciness whatsoever. It's a sad plain-looking sandwich. 2/5 We had to wait over 5 minutes at the tight parking spots reserved for curbside orders and drive-thru orders. You'd expect the food to be hot and fresh especially after waiting for food to be ready but nope! Food was cold! The place is so tiny that employees can only take their smoke break by the door and next to the drive thru. You're ordering food and all you could smell is cigarette smoke. I have no reason to come back here. Raising Cane's is waaaaay better.
We have been here twice- drive through once and ordering online for in-store pickup. Our first visit was fine, food came out very quick in the drive through. Chicken was hot and fresh. I got the 3 nibblers meal and my husband got the tenders plate. Second time we both ordered tender plates. Fries both times have been so over seasoned, for me they are inedible, my husband deals with it since we paid for it. Chicken is juicy and flavorful but so small, like children's size. I love the taste of the slaw, I just wish to-go it was put in some sort of separate container because the dressing drips into the fry and tender compartment which is gross and makes the food soggy. See photo attached. I do enjoy the nibblers, that meal is only $10 for three sliders and fries that can surely fill you up if you can deal with the saltiness of the fries. Overall I do like Zaxbys but it does need some improvements. The inside was clean but the staff did not have good attitudes. The girl at the counter looked very upset, and one was going on break and was giving me full stank face from the kitchen lol
FINALLY I went to Zaxbys today! The service was PHENOMENAL! Those young folks were engaging, smiling and chatty and I loved it! Great job with them! It's nice to engage with the youth who actually talk and give eye contact. The food was solid. I got the Zax Pack, tenders, fries, toast and a drink. The chicken was really good! Tasted fresh and juicy. Great flavors. Fries were perfect. The toast was ok but I don't need to be eating bread anyway lol It's small but the location is nice and clean. Easy access in and out. For my drink, I substituted it for a chocolate shake. It was HUGE! Very good and I love the sprinkles and whipped cream!
Disappointing experience. I order from the drive through and the lid for my shake fell in my car and the lid wasn't sealed, I spend the next 10 mins clean shake from my driver side seat, wheel and floor mat. When it came to finally eating after the sticky experience, I was surprise to see the size of the chicken strips was child size. The chicken was over seasoned and dry. I decide to try zaxby's for the first time because of the long line and big crowd at the location. Maybe it was a fundraiser night. Should have checked Yelp reviews first. High calorie meals should be good, and cleaner. I will hit exercise tomorrow. :(
I'm sorry but it's a 4/10 for me. Yikes! I hate to even score it that low but definitely long wait to open the restaurant and I don't think it's worth it. Haven't had zaxbys since my travels to the south so I was excited to have it here in Vegas as I did enjoy it, but yeah no. Look forward to waiting a while for your order to be complete at least through the drive thru. Chicken had a funny taste/ quite small in size, and fries a bit salty. Overall, I just wasn't impressed. Best items with my order was the strawberry lemonade, bread, and hot honey mustard. Try for yourself and see if you like it.
I like they are bringing east coast flavor to the west coast. I love Zaxbys and everything I got was good I ordered the house Zalad, fries, and then we also got the big zax snack. Flavor was on point. Service was fast. I'll definitely be going back.
Wow full circle moment, since this was my first job back in HS -- 2008 in ATL. Unfortunately this Las Vegas location is extremely expensive... like the cheapest meal is $15 lol this is still fast food bros mainly fried at that. Service was ok and the food was hot and made fresh that day
Gave Zaxbys a go. They have a good sized menu so there is a lot to choose from. I went with the chicken wing and finger plate. Came with a side of toast and french fries. The wings were well cooked and tasty. I had them tossed in their lemon pepper sauce. The fingers were also good but their sauces weren't all that. The ranch and their Zaxbys sauce id have to pass on. I'd maybe go back and try something else from the menu but not crazy about it.
Wanted chicken. I usually do Dave's but I wanted a drive through and hadn't had Zaxbys in a while. I got a 5 piece chicken plate meal and an order of cheddar bites. It was $22 with tax included. The service was fast and accurate. Courteous and the store was very clean it seemed. The outside definitely was. The cheese curds were good. A little sweet, the oil tastes clean which is great. The chicken was tasty, the slaw is cold and crunchy and the toast was lack luster. Great experience though! Tasty overall !!
Zaxby's!!! When I tell you I am so happy that I have been able to try this gem on the west coast! I always go back east so I am very familiar with the establishment. It recently opened and in my neighborhood so I had to take some time to actually try it. The place is new so it was very clean. It's a fast food establishment that specializes in chicken. You can eat there or take it home to enjoy. The service was quick and efficient and the staff was friendly. I ordered the wings & things which came with 3 Fingers, 5 wings, Texas toast, ranch and zax sauce. I got the Buffalo garlic sauce on the side. Man! I enjoyed this plate! There is seasoning on the chicken! Unlike the other chicken finger place down the street. SHADE!! I ordered my wings in a sweet & spicy. FIRE! Started eating my food then thought, shoot my picture! So good. I'm so happy about this opening. Fills my heart!

This was my first time trying Zaxby's, so I stopped by the North Las Vegas location for a quick lunch. There are only two other locations in Las Vegas. It was pretty easy to get to as well from the 95/Craig exit. Panda Express is right next to Zaxby's and there is plenty of parking. They're known for chicken tenders, sandwiches, wings, fries, sauces, and plenty of quick bite options. Looking over their menu, there was so much to choose from! There is also plenty of table seating available inside the restaurant. I ended up getting the fried chicken sandwich with fries, and that sandwich was definitely the best part of the meal! Service was fast. My husband and I waited less than 10 minutes for the meal! The chicken sandwich was crispy, juicy, and really delicious. The fries were good too. There was some Zaxby sauces and ketchup to dip the fries into. I also tried the cheddar bites and the fried cheesecake bites. Those were just okay for me, but still fun to try! The banana milkshake was good though, and I'm glad I added it. Service was fantastic and the food was good. It would be great if another Zaxby's location opened up in Northwest Las Vegas near Centennial or Skye Canyon! Next time, I'd like to try out their traditional or boneless wings! read more

Zaxby's is a casual chicken fast food chain of restaurants. Besides their signature fried chicken sandwich they also offer appetizers, limited time specials, chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches, salads, a kids menu, desserts and more. This North Las Vegas Location on Craig Road across from The Cannery has limited parking. Inside are two small dining areas. You order at the counter or online and pay. They run your order out to you when it's ready. Here the cashier even checked on us after we received our order. We ordered a variety of things. We tried cheddar bites, a grilled Asian Zensation Salad, and the Signature Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries also some of the sauces. I thought the cheddar bites were tasty but didn't seem like cheddar cheese to me. They were stretchy and something like pizza cheese. The fries were hot and fresh and good. The Signature Fried Chicken Sandwich is going to win any prizes for its looks but really was good. It was a good amount of tasty juicy fried chicken with good flavors. The Grilled Asian Zensation Salad was very strange. If I came here for just the salad this would have to be 2-1 star. It was a pile of greens garnished with a vegetable egg roll, that was topped with strange textured grilled chicken that was topped with a BIG PILE of Cole slaw, that was ALSO TOPPED with the worst tasting sauce that they call Asian. AND this salad also comes with dressing so this awful Asian inspired sauce is not needed. I would not order this salad nor would I recommend it. 4 stars if you avoid the Grilled Asian Zensation Salad. read more

I decided to give this place another shot! Previously, I had the lemon pepper wings, and they were awful. However, my son suggested I try the chicken finger platter. I was happy to find the meals hot and fresh, and the chicken fingers tasted better than Raising Cane's. I also enjoyed the hot, freshly seasoned fries and the delicious strawberry lemonade. I ordered through the drive-thru, and the service was friendly. I must admit, though, it's a bit pricey! read more

New Craig location, welcoming and nice inside the chicken tastes homemade it's ok, bread is just a piece of sandwich bread toasted; canes definitely has better chicken & bread but it's still good I recommend the spicy Zax sauce and get everything extra toasted, cookie taste ok but just buy your own cookie pack at the store tbh, milkshake worth it & the service is good nice employees and manager read more

The pricing is a little bit more expensive so be expecting that if you were trying to be budget friendly. The salads are a lot and one bowl so that is nice. The fries and the chicken tenders were good. My family tried the chicken, bacon, ranch quesadillas and they enjoyed them. I had a peach tea and the flavor was very good. The restaurant is in somewhat of a crowded section, but the ambience is cool and quiet as you'd expect. I would come back and visit it again. read more

Ordered the Zax Pack chicken fingers and not too impressed. I'll start off with the tenders which were very tiny. You get twenty and I could probably eat ten by myself. The fries were just ok, could have used some salt. The toast, which they claim to be Texas Toast, but it was very thin like Wonder bread. I did like both the Zax regular and spicy sauces. Lastly, the presentation and container they were in was a nice touch. However, it cold use some vent holes. By the time I got home everything was soggy. Overall, I can't recommend Zaxby's, especially when Cane's is two buildings down. read more

I thought this location is small. But it's actually a nice size. I had to go order. But was good. Highlight for me is definitely the fries. Good portions. The service was super fast considering how busy and new they are. My order came out pretty quick. Nice addition on Craig rd read more

First timer. It was really good, of course we were sitting and comparing to Canes. Do have to say not as greasy and fries were pretty good. Variety of sauces had three all good. That southern tea mmm mmm. Assistant manager was really nice and attentive. Recommend. read more
