We were greeted by Jacob as we walked in and he took our order. Hubby ordered a Big Cheese (burger) and Cobb Salad with a Pink Lemonade. I ordered Zucchini Sticks and Cobb Salad with a Pepsi. The restaurant was comfortable and the restrooms were clean. We received our order within about 10 minutes. Customer service was excellent! By the time we arrived home, everything was still at their proper temp. We thought the zucchini would've been more like French fries but the four pieces are HUGE (approximately seven inches long and an inch thick). My husband got the omelet. The cold brew was not that great. The coffee was very watered down. The staff weren't even sure if they could make it because it was so new but the app said it'd been available a few days? Kind of confusing. Looking to fill our bellies, somewhat quick, before hitting Valley of Fire we found Farmer Boys along our route. Healthy-ish, quick-ish and something for everyone on the menu. All of our meals were delicious and portions were huge! We ended up taking some of our meals with us for a snack later in the day. If you're looking for something other than the typical fast food fair but don't want to spend a ton of time at a traditional sit down restaurant this is a great place to stop. For the first time, on the way back from California, Diane and I went through the drive-thru here, and brought the food home. And, I tried a new item: a Sourdough Chicken & Avocado Sandwich, which with fresh avocado and moist chicken was quite tasty. My Big Cheese Burger was also satisfying, with a Poppyseed Bun, tomato, and lettuce, but I had to add ketchup to properly lubricate the meat and other interior contents. A side salad that came with Diane's 4 Piece Fish Platter had fresh and nicely cut up lettuce, and the supplied Thousand Island Dressing was spot on. Diane liked her fish, and we both agreed that the French Fries--crisp on the outside and somewhat soft on the inside--were good. Other than taking one bite out of the Big Cheese to taste it while it was freshly made, I refrigerated the bulk of the sandwich for lunch the next day. Service was quick. I tried the farmer burger since they won best burger 4 times and I thought the burger was pretty good. It was huge and seasoned well. I give it a 7.2. Got the hashbrowns with it and kinda got duked with the ketchup but itself vs Waffle House, ihop, or local breakfast spots I didn't care for so I give it a 3.2. The strawberry lemonade though was exactly how I like it with a heavy strawberry taste and might have been the best I've had so I give it a 9.7. So decided this would be my lunch tonight. Ordered, waited patiently behind 4 cars to get my food. The husband and I went there to eat this morning, and I wanted a French toast combo. He got a 3 egg breakfast and two coffees ( that suck). My bill came to $35.00 and change, while we were sitting there waiting for our breakfast, I just popped on their website, and the prices you pay in the restuarant are much higher than advertised on the website. I went to the counter to find out why I paid so much, and Sam (the shift manager) told me I was on a bogus website. She accused me being on the website that doesn't exist. Well, guess what!?!? Of course we had to give the fried zucchinis another try and a Cobb salad for the hubby. Line at midday was almost to the door but it went by fast. Anyway, the Cobb salad was as usual fresh and good, the fried zucchinis were so much better than the last time we got them. The breading stayed intact and the zucchinis were still crunchy.
