I'm really not a big fan of fast food, but oh Zaxby's, how I love you so. The handful of times I've gone here I've ordered the "Big Zax Snak Meal". It contains chicken fingers, french fries, and Texas toast. Oh, and of course their delicious Zax Sauce! Yummm! I'm always amazed by the portion of this meal. OK YUM!!!!! I had never been to a Zaxby's but on a recent road trip tried it out and LOVED It. I had the Caesar salad with chicken and it was delish- and we also got tater chips which i thought were tots but it ended up ok. The chips were very good. Great chicken for fast food! I went ahead a splurged for the fried chicken sand which and it was delicious! It is cooked just right and very crispy and light. The fries are good too and the restaurant is clean but like your typical fast food place inside. Not the healthiest place to eat but it sure tastes good! Love this place and go here whenever we are on this side of town. My favorite meal is the Nibblers meal which is 3 chicken tenders on toasted sweet rolls with their Zax Sauce and fries and a drink. I also love their salads. Their chicken is the best around! read more

It's hit or miss this with this location. If it's busy, you're more likely to hot, fresh food but, like my visit last night, have to wait a bit of time for it. The workers here, with the exception of the kind gentleman who was sweeping the floor (and who took our trays and warned us that they would be breaking down the sweet tea station), are apathetic. They're not friendly, they're not concerned with how you get your food...I wasn't even greeted as I walked to the register. It was simply frustrating to see 5 people standing around when you've been waiting 10 minutes for your meal at a fast food restaurant. Ok...so I went to my first Zaxby's in Alabama quite a few years ago and I remembered I loved it. So I was quite surprised to see that they opened one in Orlando. Alan and I had been here before but on our last trip we took the boys. Of coarse they were skeptical since they have only had Chick fil A twice so that's all they know. But now they are Zaxby's fans! Everytime we drive by on I4 they both say.."ooooh Zaxby's Love Me Some Zaxby's" So with that said...I only ever get the chicken fingers and french fries. They know how to do it, and do it well! They are hot, fresh and delicious! And their Zaxby's sauce is awesome! I am a condiment girl and this sauce is a must for the chicken finger and french fries! It is an upscale fast food place with great seating and decor. They cook your food to order and I like that because you know that your food isn't sitting around waiting to be served. So I wander in with little expectations since it was fast food and it turned out to be a little nicer than I thought. The food was pretty good and the atmosphere was pretty inviting. The good things about Zaxby's is they offer different food choices aside from the hum-drum fast food restaurants. The bad news, they're still a fast food restaurant. I like the spicy chicken sandwich but it's not the kind of thing I would make a special trip for. The same goes for most of the food there; it's good if you're in the mood for it but not really worth a special trip. I go to the location by the Millennia mall when I'm on that side of town and the restaurant always seems pretty clean and the staff has always been friendly to me. Pretty average. If I had the choice I would hit up CFA but this place will work in a pinch. Mostly fried (wings, tenders, fries, onion rings). Me, I prefer the grilled stuff. The Cajun Club is my go to option here. Grilled blackened breast filet with lettuce tomato and bacon on a toasted bun and a dill pickle spear. I have fallen in love the number 6, mild. Boneless wings with fries (and celery sticks lol. it also comes with ranch sauce). The fries seasoning is delicious, though sometimes I've been stuck eating a batch of unseasoned fries. (I always do drive thru, so too lazy to go back) I go here for lunch at least twice a week. Drive thru can get backed up really bad. I once waited in line for over 25 minutes, but so worth it. read more

Zaxby's is one of my fave cheat weekend places. I will go whole hog on some Nibblers with Zaxby's sauce. But on the days I have to eat clean my two fave quick fast food meals are their Zalads (lol the salads). I generally get the Classic with blackened chicken & hold the onion straws & garlic bread. Any of their salads can be done with blackened or grilled chicken breast & the portions are tasty & satiating. The Cobb Zalad has a generous portion of bacon & eggs, & the Bleu Zalad has Bleu cheese. Trust me, it's a damn tasty salad & at $6-7 a salad a pretty cost efficient choice! read more

We freaking love Zaxbys! We live in Miami where our first world problem is that we haven't caught up with the times and opened a Zaxbys nearby yet. The closest one is in West Palm Beach almost an hour away. Anyway, my sheer excitement of getting Zaxbys during every Orlando visit never fades. However this location is a bit disappointing, specially considering its prime location. The last two times we've visited Orlando and eaten here and they lack customer service and tend to get our order wrong every time (wrong sauces, forgetting substitutions). I'm aware it's a fast food establishment but these are simple issues that can be addressed when you have great food. read more

This was not a good day at Zaxbys. The food was fresh and great but we waited 45 minutes after our order was taken. We weren't given any explanation or apology. Not sure if they were short handed or what. We didn't have to wait to put in an order but evidently there were a lot of people at tables with no food before us. They kept taking customers knowing it would be a 45 minute wait fir them. It seemed the drive- thru was much better but we didn't realize that until we had paid and were sitting in the lobby waiting. It was our first- ever experience like this at Zaxbys but it would have been best if they would have told us when they took our order or at some point in our 45 minute wait. read more

I went to this Zaxby's for the first time a few days ago on my way to the Ikea across the street. It took me maybe two minutes to get to the Ikea parking lot after getting my food. As I started eating it, everything was ice cold like it had been sitting on a counter for ages. Perhaps this was an order they forgot to give to a previous customer and served to me instead of making a fresh one at the time. Today, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, since it's my birthday and I usually love Zaxby's chicken. We stopped by on our way to the Target in the same plaza. My wife and I both ordered a meal each, and got our drinks with light ice. Her meal was fine aside from the drink. The cup was at least 3/4ths full of ice. I do not understand how an employee could seriously put that much ice in a cup with a straight face. It was so ridiculous, it was like someone was playing a joke. Two of my three pieces of chicken were fine, but the last had no batter on it at all. It looked like they just fried a piece of chicken in oil on it's own. Somehow my wife's fries were fine, but mine were all old like they'd been reheated several times already. My drink was also gross. It didn't taste like Coke. It tasted like they'd put a squirt of every soda flavor they had into the cup. It was like this orange, lemony, cinnamon cup of nasty. I will never go back to this location, ever. read more

The best in fast food bone in and boneless wings. I'm a bigger fan of the boneless and they have a wide variety of good sauces. Tongue torch if your a fan of the hot but not overkill. Nuclear if you want to burn your tongue off. Texas toast and crinkle fries with each meal too top it off. read more

Terrible customer service. I went there about 30 minutes before closing and tried to order. Nobody came to the speaker or window. After about 5 minutes, someone finally came. They wouldn't open the window and tell me what was going on, but instead, they signaled for me to go back around. After ordering, I come back to the window for the girl at the window to be very rude. She closed the window on me and signaled for me to leave before I could even get my drinks. read more

Leaned into car with PRINTED receipt that you have to sign with grimy pen. Then, told to wait in another car line to receive food. When i got there I had to wait another twenty minutes (timed) to get my food and the order was still incomplete. Since the order cost $30.09 for two people, I can go to someplace nicer and tip... If you love the quality of chicken from Chick-fil-a and the sassyness of Zingers from Orlando Ale House, you will completely fall in love with Zaxby's like I have! With locations in Orlando and Kissimmee, Zaxby's is spread out enough for everyone to try them at least once and they offer dine-in, drive-thru, call ahead or carry out. All are great because they cook their meals to order so they're always fresh! The "Zalads" are great, which is Zaxby's for "salad," but the Chicken Finger Plate is by far my favorite! I'm not one for Texas Toast or Cole Slaw, so I 86 both in favor of more Crinkle Fries! The Chicken Fingers are great on their own, but I fully recommend tossing them in one of Zaxby's sauces. I'm a wimp when it comes to hot sauces but their "Whimpy" sauce does me just fine. Their "tongue torch" will do just that - SET YOUR TONGUE ON FIRE! Do yourself a favor and top your meal off with a Coca Cola (I add a smidge of Cherry Fanta to mine) and some zwesome crinkle fries.
