Stopped at their drive-thru on our way home from a trip to NY and ordered 2 six chicken finger meals. Since driving we ate one box then started the other. It only had 3 Fingers. We realize stuff happens so we called back-3 TIMES NOW-- absolutely no response from anyone. It's one thing to mess up, another to completely ignore calls. To me that makes me see this as theft, not a shortage. Never will purchase from Zaxbys again and of course be very vocal with all friends about this experience. The food is always fresh and delicious, employees friendly and helpful, but that drive thru line, specifically the window to get your food is always on a delay. I hadn't been here in over a year due to the location being near work and nothing has changed. Run! Don't walk! To get their salads. First, the price for what you get... a huge salad... is so worth the money. I usually get the Cobb salad with fried chicken. It comes with and egg, cheese and bacon too. Then you can choose your choice of dressing; I always get honey mustard. Be careful when you shake the container though because it's not tight and I almost spilled my whole salad all over the ground. I also tried the fries last time and I like less crispy fries so they were good for me but if you like crispy, you may not like them. I love their salads and often order the Fried House Salad, with mediterranean sauce and no complimentary bread or cold slaw. (Even though I looove their bread, unless I'm craving it, I try not to). This salad is under $8.00 and is very filling. The few times that I've been here, I've never experienced any issues with my order, employees are friendly and helpful. The only other time that I visited a Zaxby was during Hurricane Irma and that particular location was operating on a generator. The chicken is pretty good, I had medium sauce which had more sweetness in it than I would have liked. Also for blue cheese dressing a packet is buried somewhere under your food which I would prefer that they didn't do. I had to wipe it to use it and then my brain goes to where has this packet been? Has it been handled with unvoiced hands, I'm sure it has. My daughter had chicken fingers and there was a hair enveloped into the breading. I told the cashier who shrugged and asked if I wanted to speak with a manager. I said sure, so I told the manager who remade the food right away. This restaurant has a freestyle soda machine, so for diet soda which I like, I love the options. The drink counter was pretty dirty though. Whats there not to like about this place? It's quick, all chicken, and deep fried goodness (unless you get it grilled)! I ordered the Zaxby's Club sandwich with fries, extra Zaxby sauce, and a 22oz drink for exactly $8.00. It's a little bit on the expensive side for the fast food category, but I must say it was pretty tasty! One thing I noticed about the sandwich was that the chicken tenders inside were very moist and well...tender! The extra Zaxby sauce I got was also well worth the 25 cents. I'll definitely stop by here again to try their baskets once I'm done exploring the other restaurants in the area. This is a good place to stop for lunch if you are in around the UCF area. read more

The drive thru line is alittle slow. But the food is good and decently priced. It is very clean inside and the staff are all very attentive. Parking is limited but just enough if you're not there during peak hours. However during peak it's better to go through the drive thru because it's much faster. read more

I love Chicken. Chicken from Zaxby's? I love even more. I always get the tenders with fries and coleslaw. The tenders are always cooked to perfection with the right amount of seasoning. The crinkle fries are seasoned right as well and always crunchy + hot. Everyone knows I am picky with my potatoes, so a potato approval from me is kinda a big deal.... Last but not least the coleslaw, the coleslaw is on a sweeter side but its fresh and not soggy so I am not complaining! Starting with the restaurant itself, it's tired looking and kind of dirty. Next, you're informed they have no ApplePay or other means of accepting payment. Cash or card only. Really? This store can't be bothered to keep pace with the technology of the rest of the world? It's 2019 and you don't accept non-card based payment? So we go out to the car and scrounge together what cash we have. Upon ordering two Big Zax Snacks and a water the total comes back more than I thought, so I ask why and am informed the cup of water is $2.50!! I mean really?! And if you're going to charge someone $2.50 for a cup of water, tell them in advance, don't make them figure it out for themselves. The food itself was fine, although the chicken was a little on the tough side. But both my boys liked the fries. When i pulled i to the drive thru, there was only one car in front of me. I waited 20 minutes for the car in front of me to place to their order. I was astounded to be placed on hold when i finally was allowed to pull to the voice box. i waited an additional 5 or six minutes before being allowed to order. the girl at the register was very nice, but i was very displeased to open my bag and realize they had given me the wrong sauce with my order. When i pulled around the building, i saw there were only 7 or 8 guests on the inside of the restaurant. I come through this drive thru regularly and the service is fairly consistent. It's not the best Zaxby's in Orlando, but the drive thru is efficient, the sweet tea is sweet, and the food is almost always hot and good. I've occasionally had a sauce missing, but they never hesitate to provide it once I mention it. Just make sure to check your bag before driving off, because they do mess up occasionally (understandable). The staff has always been friendly to me and I can't complain about the service. Overall, it's an adequate Zaxby's. I visit often on my commute from work to school, and while I've had one or two visits that the food wasn't hot or the bread was over toasted, the food is fantastic the grand majority of the time read more

I generally enjoy zaxbys sandwiches. Today I decided to order a kicked chicken sandwich, and was extremely disappointed. When in the drive thru, the employee who took the order ended up asking what the order was once again. Then when I got my hands on my order the sandwich was a complete mess. The bread was soggy, to the point where were I picked up the sandwich initially the bread broke. Not only was the bread soggy, the sauce of the chicken was on both sides of the sandwich (on both outside and inside). If I was on the road traveling and starving and there was a choice between Zaxbys and McDonalds- it would be Zaxby's. However if there was a Chick-fil- a and a Zaxby's - I'd go for the Chick-fil-a. Zaxby's is middle of the road. Hence somewhere between McDonald's and Chick-fil-a. The coleslaw is extremely sugary. The Texas toast is bland. The chicken is tasty but not outstanding. As for the Zaxby's sauce- you know when you eat that fat free dressing and it has that after taste of chemicals or something? That's what it reminds me of. Overall, I was not impressed with the food. Very disappointing visit today. From the moment I walked in, the lobby smelled horrible, like a bathroom smell that you can't ignore (not sure where the smell was coming from, do they not have vents in the bathroom?). The lobby was also warm and humid. There were two people working drive thru. I waited a few minutes for counter service, but left because I could not take the smell. I don't get it. I come here regularly to meet with some friends during their lunch break and lately it seems the quality of this location has been slipping. Their drink machine was broken the last time I visited and the soda was warm and completely flat. My friend ordered a salad and found a piece of rubber in it. I had a free Meal Dealz card for signing up for their mailing list. I got a nibblerz meal and they let me upgrade my drink to a large so my total was only $ 0.21. I had to wait for about twenty minutes to order and get my food but my meal was practically free and I wasn't in a rush so it wasn't a big deal to me. Very disappointed, I don't write reviews and just downloaded Yelp for this review. Probably the worst zaxbys I've ever ate at, I've been to this one twice hoping the first time was just unlucky. Where to begin, the food always taste of old grease and never taste fresh, the chicken is never crispy and taste like it has been sitting on the counter for a very long time, the fried mushrooms taste like breading with a ball of cold old grease inside. On a recent trip to Zaxbys we order 2 of the Wings and things. Plentiful amount of food and tasted relatively good for FAST FOOD. We asked for an extra sauce after we ordered and lady refused to give us 1 sauce without charging us .25 cents.. They gave us RANCH and we do not eat ranch. Cashier wasn't friendly but the food tasted good. Next time I would go to 4 Rivers Smokehouse even-though prices may be a tad more expensive because their service is remarkable and much more inviting atmosphere! read more

Zaxbys makes the calories worth it. It is one of the few fast food places I feel that way about. Their chicken tenders are done well, their fries are always perfectly seasoned, and their garlic bread/toast is buttery goodness. Plus, dipping anything in that zaxbys sauce is an automatical winner. Again, it is fast food...so health nuts beware. But if you are going to splurge with food, the taste makes this one worth it. I cannot speak about the healthier options here, because I don't go here for them. I do however recommend the chicken platter to anyone deciding on what to get here. I was really pleasantly surprised by the food here. I ordered the platter that has both chicken fingers and hot wings. Both were very good and I have to consider myself a fan of Zaxby's. I try the hot wings and chicken fingers at just about every place that servers it. I had high expectations because they are the only major items on the menu and I was not disappointed. My only reservations are that the wing sauce was a bit thin and runny, but overall the size was good, and the flavor was right on. This was my first time at Zaxby's. I just wanted to see why this restaurant is appearing everywhere in Orlando. The environment was country homey-ish with some Duck Dynasty decor here and there. It was pretty clean inside. The girl at the counter had such a soft voice that I couldn't hear her. I had to lean very close. She really shouldn't work behind the counter. She was nice though. I ordered the Big Zax Snak Meal. I was excited to see 3 chicken fingers, zaxby sauce, fries and a texas toast. The chicken fingers were standard chicken fingers. The breading wasn't special, but it was crisp. The zaxby sauce is like thousand island with a bit of sriracha. I didn't think it was a match with the chicken fingers. I do enjoy the texas toast but it's nothing that I can't buy myself at the grocery store. All in all, the food was just meh. There was nothing special enough for me to go back to try. They do have the cool soda machine where you can make all sorts of flavored soda such as lime coke, orange coke, vanilla coke... etc. That would be my only plus. read more

Second time here, prices are decent, food pretty good for fast food. The sauce they put on their wings is pretty good. Their fries are a lot like Sonnys, their onion rings are like steak and shake.They didn't offer many sides which they really need to do. Took a while to get our wings and fingers, about 20 minutes. They need to have napkins on the tables as we had to keep going to the soda machine for more and more. The tables are odd it's like it's too far away from the benches, so you have to hunch over to get your food. Have to be in a chicken kind of mood to go there.
