Came in and got a Big Zac Snack, have to say Zaxby's chicken's pretty good. Definitely have to go with the spicy zax or the tongue torch sauces. I started asking them to toss my chicken in a tongue torch sauce and that comes out pretty good. I also enjoy their fries. I know the economy's bad and that the serving sizes have been reduced but I wish they didn't reduce the serving of fries that you do get now. I'll keep coming though. I will say that the staff can be good at some locations and a little off at others. I guess it's just a luck of the draw. read more

It's honestly no wonder how this Zaxbys has not even 2 stars. If I could give it 0 stars, I would but oh well. For starters, I sat in the drive thru for way longer than I should've. Many times I thought about just leaving but at each point I had already committed so I just stayed. I ordered a kickin chicken sandwich meal with hot honey mustard instead of tongue torch sauce, an extra ranch on the side, order of fried pickles, and an Arnold Palmer to drink. My sandwich had hardly any sauce, my fries were cold, I didn't get any of the ranch (should've had 2), and my drink was just unsweet tea. When I got to the window and was waiting on my order, I was handed one drink then told that was the wrong one and was given a different one. I doubt the first one was right too, but whatever. I've gone back to try and let them redeem themselves but things weren't much better. I will say that the customer service was a tad better the second time so that was a plus. read more

updated review day after Thanksgiving 2022 I wanted a little snack so I got a kids meal 2 tenders and like 7 to 10 fries that's it... my latest pictures. Nothing was fresh I asked for extra fry seasoning which I did get and the sweet tea was great but the food thumbs down... 6.3 my bday so I ordered another kids meal and then got my free dessert attached with it did it Mobile went to pick it up the sweet tea is always great. I will say that started driving got on the interstate and then it started raining of course with my kids meal it comes with that little cookie and then I had my birthday free cookie that wasn't in there also, all I had was the tenders and like 10 not fresh fries!!! so yes I called and told them I was on the interstate. This location is hot and cold -- the food is pretty standard and it's mostly fresh and hot and good to go. My complaint is that the inside smells bad even from the drive through it smells like mop water. The drive thru attendees are usually friendly but not as attentive. So, I wanted a quick bite to eat and I love Zaxbys so you can imagine my excitement when one opened two minutes away from my house. I have patroned this particular establishment several times and it seems that Everytime I give it a shot, they sink further down the quality and value scale. I got a Big Zak Snak and while it's not a big portion (not as big as a plate) it is supposed to be a BIG VALUE. However, when I opened the box I was underwhelmed. It looked like someone stared without me. The chicken fingers were good but small and they gave me a small amount of fries. The toast was small and the root beer was flat. Their website says they're open till ten, but when I pulled into the parking lot at 850 there is someone posted in the parking lot with parking cones behind him yelling "Closed!". Very disappointing they did not have a changing table for my infant in either women's or men's room! So unfortunately I had to do change his diaper in the back of my car in the 90 degree Florida Sun while swaying away love bugs and sweat off my face. We have been customers at this location since it opened. Mainly because we like the food and it's close to our house. This is specifically about the SERVICE. The level of service I experienced in the drive thru during my last visit was appalling and I will likely never patronize this store again. It's a shame, because the food is actually decent. WHERE IS THE MANAGEMENT AT THIS LOCATION?!??! WHO IS IN CHARGE?????? I spent an HOUR (yes an hour!!!!) In the drive thru waiting. 28 minutes from arrival to order, another 16 minutes to pay and after I paid I was told to pull up and wait for someone to bring my food. After another 10 minutes I had enough and went inside. When I got inside they have a full staff, no one eating inside but still had a line of cars wrapped around the building. When I told the girl at the counter that I had been in line for almost an hour at this point she rolled her eyes at me and said "we're short staffed". I was so frustrated at this point I demanded a refund. The manager finally made an appearance and looked completely bewildered, like she had not been paying attention to her staff at all. As she is processing my refund I see the girl that was at the counter when I came in handing my food back to the people in the kitchen LAUGHING about who was getting what out of the food that I had ordered. In all my years in the food service industry I have never seen people behave like that. This place is a has a staff that thinks this is a place to hangout, I have seen it on numerous occasions. It's always "we're short staffed" when really they're all just screwing off. The customer service here needs a SERIOUS overhaul. And hire a manager who is capable of the job. We wont be back and will drive to chick fil a from now on. That place knows how to get folks through a drive thru. By far the worst fast food customer service I've experienced ever! I should have known better than to go inside when I first parked. I noticed one of their employees sitting in the parking lot smoking and carrying on a loud, very profane phone conversation. I went inside anyway. I walked up to the counter and waited. And waited. And waited. Everyone ignored me. I was the only person there. I finally called to the girl working the drive through. She looked at me, didn't say a word, just walked to the back. The company should send in execs to see wether they should consider closing the store so that it does not further damage the company image. Had to repeat my very simple order to the cashier 5 times... (I only asked they leave off the garlic toast because I didn't want it...yes, it was that simple) and they took 15 minutes to get my order to me, and they gave me only 1 of the 2 plates I ordered, and then got both plates completely wrong, AND gave me the bread I asked to leave off. And they were very rude when I politely pointed this out. * The food is...okay. Not as good as other locations. * The employees don't keep the place very organized. (And there wasn't exactly a rush when I went there.)
