I have gone to this Zaxby's many times, and I feel like my experience is typically pretty good or not good at all. Before I share about my experience, I will say we were coming in late at night after an event...I think they definitely tried but seemed to be lacking in having enough employees! We ended up ordering an appetizer platter where you could choose three different appetizers. We chose fried pickles, cheese bites, and boneless wings. However, they came to us about 15 minutes after we placed the order saying the manager said it was too close to closing time, so they were going to give us french fries instead. We asked if we could have some form of chicken, so they ended up giving us a couple of chicken tenders since they didn't give us the boneless wings. They also forgot some of the requested sauces. I didn't think the food was bad, it just wasn't super good! They were very kind but like I mentioned before seemed stressed with lots of customers coming in. The inside was relatively clean although will say we didn't end up eating inside. Overall, I would maybe come back again, but it would not be my first choice! read more

Custom service was very awful. Asked for napkins and was given a small amount and crumbled napkins. While in the mean time they had a perfect stack of napkins but decided to give me a crumbled napkins. Chicken tenders were very small compared to other locations around the area. I have to tell you how amazing my food was today. I ordered a Zaxby's club sandwich and fries. The line was not very long but it moved swiftly. I was asked to pull up after I paid. Not long after my food was delivered to my vehicle. The sandwich was amazing. It was hot and fresh. The Texas toast was buttery. The crinkle fries were hot and fresh as well. When you first walk in, the place is clean and looks nice. Nice decorations on the walls with an upbeat vibe. I would give them a half star more for cleanliness I tried the "Wings and Things" plate after observing the menu. Seemed like a decent price for wings, chicken strips, fries, piece of toast and some celery; with a choice of sauce and ranch. When the plate came out it looked great, but the food was alright. It's good for a fast food type restaurant. When it came, I was able to pick up and bite into both the wings and strips. I've been to places where they're fresh and piping hot where it needs to cool down. Not my plate. I could tell they were in a warmer and probably sat between 20-30mins, including the fires. The flavors were decent. I tried their original sauce they're known for, but it tasted like mayo with thousand island mixed together with some spices. The buffalo dressing on the wings was standard. The best food on my plate was probably the fresh toast because it was hot and had lots of butter toasted to perfection. The inside and bathroom are kept up well and clean; including the beverage stand. If you're looking for fast food type decent wings, then this is the place for you. read more

I've never been to a Zaxby's before and was expecting a sort of KFC/McDonald's kind of fast food place. I was pleasantly surprised. How have I lived in Memphis for over a year and never been to a Zaxby's? You do have to wait a little longer than most "fast food" places but the food is fresh. I got a salad and the lettuce was fresh, it wasn't in a little plastic container all day. My husband really enjoyed his chicken tenders in hot sauce and my son's grilled cheese was so fresh with gooey cheese. They also have a Coke Freestyle machine which I think are awesome. read more

Always great service and great food. The food is always delicious and plentiful portions. They are COVID safe.

This was our first time visiting this Zaxby's location. We waited at the counter for several minutes without being greeted or seeing a cashier to take our order. We did notice the drive thru cashier who saw us but didn't make any attempt to get an employee over to their work station. The employees on duty were far too busy hanging out in the kitchen talking about what they were going to cook or who was going to cook for Christmas. An employee noticed us and the cashier slowly made her way up to the counter to take our order. None of the employees that we encountered were friendly or welcoming. I would assume that's the reason that there were very few guests in the restaurant. From now on, if we have the craving for Zaxby's, we'll visit the store in Horn Lake. read more

Disappointed. I've been going to this location weekly since they opened. On 3 separate occassions, there are 3 young girls with very long hair that stroke their hair while waiting for the food. Is this part of the work flow now? I said something to one of them and she just rolled her eyes and walked away. I contacted the company customer service but did not get the warm fuzzy that this will be corrected. Nice knowing you Zaxbys on Getwell. Order 20 piece strips with three large fries . I asked for ranch and honey mustard. On the receipt it said no sauce so I asked if my sauces where in the bag because it said no sauce she said yes. Got a buffalo chicken sandwich meal and a chicken salad sandwich meal. My buffalo sandwich was flavorless and on soggy Texas toast. My wifes chicken salad sandwich tasted like fake mayo and nothing else. Very flavorless!!! On a up note our fried mushrooms were very good as was our Dr. Peppers.
